Pisces Moon is very unique. I feel it is too sensitive for this world. Some people seem to have certain chart configurations which make the Pisces Moon harder. I have seen this to be the case in which there are very intense Pluto placements.

I have, also, seen a configuration in which the Pisces Moon had a strong, authoritative Sun, such as Capricorn, and tried to be authoritative but did not have the tensile strength. Hence, the person juxtaposed between strength and retreat.

Whatever, the other placements, Pisces Moon is too sensitive for this harsh, cruel world. Hence, this Moon is a hardship to the native, but may be a gift to others.

Pisces Moons are very sweet, kind and loving, by nature.

In a perfect world, they would not be as wounded by life events as they appear to be. It is not their fault. It is simply the nature of otherworldly Pisces combined with one’s deepest heart, which is the Moon.

I'll pretty much agree with that, but another aspect that can be confusing to viewers is that Pisces can be the ultimate chameleon of the zodiac by absorbing the vibe around them and putting it back out...and thus you can get "Pisces thugs" and the like because those are the kind of people they're surrounded by, they absorb their energy and demonstrate it...yet even so they're a sensitive soul beneath it (though may be really messed up mentally because of it).

I knew two (one a Pisces sun, the other a Pisces moon) who had been involved in gangs in a harsh world (both of them because their sensitivity to the world made them outcasts and the Pisces moon also getting into drugs in a vain attempt to shut out the pain of the world) and though neither were leaders, both had a fearsome reputation all the same (in part because they knew when you were bluffing and also what scared you the most...). Yet the Pisces sun was clearly haunted by what he did and was surrounded by (and strangely had the ambition to leave his gang to become a cop, which I heard he eventually did, though he was aware of how corrupt and brutal they can be but I think he hoped to make a positive difference), and the Pisces moon was a crusader and vigilante that got him into all sorts of trouble and after leaving that life to become a hermit (which was when I met him) he described how much it bothered him that people were sometimes afraid of him and that he sometimes felt intensely guilty about the violence he did if he realized it was undeserved (though he'd channel that guilt into more anger).

My cousin is also a Pisces moon and few realize he has a soft side, most think he's a rough and ready redneck (in part it's that Pisces chameleon attribute at work), but he has a caring heart (but woe onto anyone who tries to take advantage of that, he'll see through it and let his Aries sun, Sag Asc take over), and one of the early lessons I learned (like everyone else) is when he holed up in his room with free form guitar music being played LEAVE HIM ALONE. His music was how he "flushed the poisons" out of his soul so that it didn't overwhelm him. And those like me who were around him a lot could often tell what was bothering him just by listening to the music (as it expressed his feelings so well and in so much complexity).

I don't have a Pisces moon but I do have moon in the 12th so I relate to a lot of this. Especially because I have a Taurus sun and Aries Mercury which is supposed to be very strong/warrior-like. I am also very Plutonian (Mercury, venus, Mars, IC all in strong aspect to pluto) so this makes it hard.

My daughter is Libra sun, Pisces moon.

She is so sensitive and caring. I agree that this world can be too harsh for them. I feel so lucky to have her.

I hate this moon placement.

Whenever I make the decision to be strong and stand up for myself against abuse, I always end up feeling wracked with guilt and pity for my abuser. I simply have too much empathy (I've been told many times) for my own good and this placement is definitely a burden. Combined with having it in a watery house, it gives me the ability to seek out the answers cosmically and understand what's wrong without being able to do anything about it.

I'm a Pisces sun, moon, and Mercury all in the 8th house. I'm very sensitive and extremely empathetic. I seriously can't stand to see anyone or any animal suffer. I try to see the best in everyone I meet because I don't like when people judge others. And when it comes to animals, I just adore them! It upsets me when I see road kill, I have definitely cried a few times over that. Additionally, I stutter, so maybe that makes me more empathetic to people as well. But needless to say, all that pisces going on in my life definitely makes me a very sensitive and empathetic person!

I like Pisces Moon. I think them a blessing to be around.

They are usually non-judgmental. May tend to irk any type of responsibility and tend to also be roundabout when asked personal questions.

But I feel that their vibe resonates with my Sun/Neptune conjunct. That's why most of my friends are Pisces Moon.

I am Cancer Moon btw.

I am pisces moon in 29 degress, but in the 10th house. Also I am very capricorn-influenced, but at the same time I'm virgo sun, and also neptune-influenced!

And besides from that my moon is super afflicted, it's opposite sun and mars and square uranus..

So, I am very much torn apart between being much too sensitive, and much too harsh... I don't think anyone with pisces moon can run away from their sensitivity, I think all pisces mooners are very emotional and actually pretty easy to affect...

My boyfriend is also a pisces moon, but his moon is opposite mine, very nicely aspected and I can really sense the difference The easy aspected pisces mooners are a bit more trustful, loving and caring, while the harsh-aspected ones are a bit more mistrustful, hyper-sensitive and worry too much...at least thats how I see it, but remember people change through their entire life

Almost all of my friends are Pisces moons and I've noticed that I get along with them the best (I'm Scorpio sun, Gemini moon). They are just so sweet and kind and (usually) non-judgmental. I love them

My best friend's boyfriend has Pisces moon conjunct Saturn, I can just imagine how hard that can be... I don't get along with him at all, he has so narrow mind and his opinions are always the right ones. He has also super low self-esteem! He thinks that my best friend is cheating him with his best friend and he is super jealous (must be his Scorpio mars...). He complains all the time how bad person he is or how he messes up everything etc. It's really tiring. But he is not my boyfriend so I can't complain much, the most important thing is that my best friend likes him

Other than that, I love hanging with Pisces moons, but sometimes their empathy and sensitivity for things bothers me. They really should learn to build a little shell around them like Cancers do But not too thick of course!

Awwwww!!! Ami Anne you did a Pisces Moon post!! Thank you thank you!!!

Everything you wrote - SPOT ON! And everyone else's post, I'm nodding my head as I read on!

Harsh world - I always say this to ppl around me. Life is just TOUGH. Am I too sensitive or is the world too harsh so no wonder I feel the pain...? I kind of question this myself sometimes.

I think Pisces Moon is soooo deep that it's really hard for ppl to see just how sensitive we are. I think this is prolly the main reason why we feel the pain. We are constantly mistreated. Mistreated because we believe in our feelings, not what we see like many of the materialistic world ppl does.

"Juxtaposed between strength and retreat"
Well this is my everyday! I have strong Fire (Sag Asc trine Aries Venus/Mars conj), and come off quite intimidating. I got I-take-no-BS air all around me!! My sister, who is double Pisces herself (Pisces moon & Asc), knows and tells me that ppl really don't know how sensitive I am. Because of how I come off, I feel I get mistreated a lot. Ppl will say harsh words thinking I can take them but inside I'm hurt very much! But then my Aries Mars smacks me in the head and tells me to FIGHT BACK. So I'm hurt but I will joke back sarcastically instead. Lolol!

I like my Moon though. I'm happy to be Pisces

In general I think people with pisces moon are truly sweet, deep down to the bone. They should trust themselves AND the world a bit more, even though the world seems so hard and un-loving. But actually I think it would be good for all the pisces moon people to open up their hearts even more to the world, even if they are afraid of doing so, and they are afraid of what they will get back.

I try... I like to express myself (mercury in 3H). Like Ami said, I get depressed if I can't express myself!!! But ppl have difficulty understanding our sensitivity I think. I get blank faces often, or ppl will just go.. "Oh my god! Stop being such a whimp. Stand up for yourself." Well sensitivity is not a weakness. We are sensitive but we are NOT weak.

I've come to peace with my sensitivity actually. I'm very happy in my own skin. At this point of life, I have had all sorts of criticism about me so I don't get too hurt emotionally anymore. I accept all positive and negative comments about me What still hurts the most is when ppl I trust deeply, betrays me. I get very VERY disappointed.

I know exactly how you are feeling I also have the tendency to get very disappointed sometimes!
But I am glad that you say sensitivity is NOT being weak! I also think about this.. cause being sensitive and having a great deal of empathy is not weakness, even though some people see it like that.

But I also think that with time and life experience, it will get easier to cope with all of that as a pisces moon, both the negative and the positive. As long as we can feel equally sensitive about good as well as bad stuff, both things matters!

DITTO!! I agree with you completely!!

You know I thought about negative and positive... And my conclusion was that there is actually no negative. because one's negative can be someone else's positive... Ha Ha! I'm speaking crazy now :P

My dad and brother both have Pisces Moons. My dad's is conjunct my Sun at an early(ish) degree, and my brother's is conjunct my Jupiter at a later degree.
My dad and I both have Leo Asc (3 degrees apart), so his Moon is in his 8h.
They're both Libra Suns.

My dad has survived some very hard experiences. He is sensitive, definitely. Maybe it's his Saturn and Pluto conjunct Asc in 1h that help him, I'm not sure.

My brother has Capricorn Asc, and his Sun is conjunct his Saturn and MC, so he can be a little more moody. But I don't feel that either one of them are more sensitive than I am (as a Pisces Sun, for those who don't know me).

My brother is more prone to outright depression than I am, though. And it's usually related to feeling as though he doesn't "measure up", although he most certainly does.

Great post, Lexus. I find Neptune/Pisces dreams true while Cancer has gut feelings.
