Does having venus in it's fall in virgo mean the native has trouble getting what they desire in life, how does this afflicted venus work or fail to work?

I have Virgo Venus. I have to say, for this question, it really depends on the rest of the chart and how you use it.

I think getting what you want tie in more with Mars because it represents your passions and desires. However, Venus could also play a role in "attracting" what you want instead of actively pursuing it like Mars to an extent. For Venus in Virgo (which I have), the native might be too self-critical that he or she may usually think he or she is not deserving of anything he or she wants. This would be mainly due to the fact that the native feels like he or she is never good enough or "perfect" for anything.I can say this from personal experience. Not so sure about others who have this placement. IP: Logged |

this is a nice way of describing it. i've always thought that as well - venus is more of how we attract and keep others. so, a virgo venus - who is typically self-critical and feels unworthy a lot - won't really be attracting quality partners all the time, or may have trouble putting out the right signals because of how they personally feel. it's a self-inhibiting placement i think, the virgo venus. not the best venus imo.
