What placements would point to someone who is glamorous - where it just oozes from their pores? What aspects are responsible for an individual being viewed as glamorous? Think old Hollywood! IP: Logged |

My guess would be a mix of Leo and Libra influence because Leo is glamour and Libra is beauty and luxury.IP: Logged |

Sun in the 10th - because of public image? Why Sun and not Venus then, for example? IP: Logged |

According to an Astro rulership book we have, glamor is ruled by both Venus and Neptune. So I'd say persons with prominent Venus and or Neptune in their chart. Venus or Neptune in 1st. Unaspected Venus, Neptune. IP: Logged |

I have a friend whose Venus conjunct the ASC from the 12H. Her 5H Neptune square 2H Libra Mars. I'd consider her glamorous. IP: Logged |

Venus-Neptune contacts in the Natal or either of those planets in angular houses would emphasise it. In fact I always think of Hollywood represented by Neptune in Leo like what Marilyn Monroe had rising.IP: Logged |

I agree they are general, but you did not exactly say specific lol. And I agree with Neptune in Leo being glamorous, too. I even think that if Neptune was to have an exaltation, it would be in Leo. Leo rules drama and Neptune is illusion. These two combined, in my opinion, can create glamour. If you think about the decade when Neptune was in Leo, which I think is in the 1940's, people were into glamour and anything big and bold. For aspects, I also agree with Venus-Neptune, Sun-Neptune, Jupiter-Neptune, Sun, Venus, and Neptune both in aspect to the ascendant. As for the houses aside from the ascendant, most likely Sun-Venus conjunction in either the 5th or the 10th. IP: Logged |

So what about the square or opposition? Do you feel that only harmonious aspects create this 'glamour'? For instance, Neptune square ASC or Neptune square Venus.

Neptune/Pisces/#7 is Glamor & excitement.Venus/Libra is style Sun/Leo/#1 is fame. As mentioned earlier in this thread, glamor is a combination of Sun & Neptune/Leo & Pisces. Eg. Marilyn Monroe - born on the 1st, with a 7 lifepath...same for Princess Diana. IP: Logged |

I have Neptune conjunct Mars. I didn't really feel very glamorous growing up. But in recent years...I've really gotten in touch with that side of myself. I relate to the classic icons (Liz Taylor, Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe) sooo much more than any icons of today! IP: Logged |

I have Neptune square Mars/Venus. I don't think I'm glamours (prolly cuz it's square). I also have Neptune sextil Pisces Sun, but it's a minor aspect so I don't think it translates to glamour either...IP: Logged |

I think any aspects involving such planets would create glamour. The harder aspects, in my opinion, would make a person overdo things and make everything overdramatic. The people with easier aspects will know when to limit the glamour. IP: Logged |

The word "Glamour" conjures up Elizabeth Taylor,Grace Kelly and the "Dynasty" series to me. So I would say something in Neptune. To make the person simply unforgettable and iconic. "Goddess" like even. Something that seems unattainable and forever illusive. Perhaps Venus? More specifically on the Taurus side? Jewels, jewels, jewels? Leo or a fixed placement. More specifically Moon/Mars there: Something in the way the person presents themselves that seems so confident and self-assured. I'll add Saturn there too. The person has to appear like a "you can look, but don't touch" ornament. With a certain kind of class association that seems very elevated in rank.
