If they are sensitive, do they show their sensitive side to everybody?

Strange you brought this up, as I was thinking about this last night. My mother, a Taurus, was very sensitive, she also seemed to be content with herself and with life. I don't recall ever sensing loneliness from her. Whenever a movie about animals would come on, it was my cue to leave the room. Tears, tears, tears. She would sometimes come home from work crying because of what a coworker said. Or take things personally when, in my view, there was nothing to take. IP: Logged |

Yes.Sag would be in their 8th: so they find the most private parts of them, the power, secrets to be fleeting. Virgo in the 5th means self expression go through critical process. Their opposite sign is scorpio so they often face manipulation in their life. Even the Taurus Jupiter see material plane as hugely important because it's the thing they can hold, grasp and not something fleeting, or requiring one to read between the lines. IP: Logged |

NahThis one is not. I can be pretty cold sometimes and often find myself apologizing to my more sensitive friends for saying something they found insensitive. I do have an afflicted moon though... IP: Logged |

What you and starr33 are referring to is found with someone who has planets in water signs in addition to the Sun in Taurus. Or a Moon/Asc aspecting Neptune or Moon. The sensitivity of Taurus taken by itself is of the physical 'ticklish' type -- physical sensitivity of the nerves. What happens with many is they gain a certain amount of weight for fat to protect them as they grow/get older, then it seems to go away. ------------------ Professional astrology - Expert rectification http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/ Rising Sign descriptions: https://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/rising-signs-2/ IP: Logged |

Hi star, I asked this Q because I have few friends among Taureans. Unfortunately I dont seem to GET them : ( I would say something silly and they would look wounded. Not the Taurean women. They are super strong emotional. But the men.... hmmm Your mom sounds a bit like my mother. My mom has aPisces Sun and a scorpio moon. She cries easily. I used to find that behaviour little difficult when I was a kid. I wonder how you coped with it. Now my mother in law is a Taurus moon and she is the exact opposite. She is capable of chasing a Tsunami away with a broomstick. But Taurus guys are kinda sensitive. Either sensitive Or they are fishing for compliments : )) Im clueless!IP: Logged |

Thank you for your reply babybull. But would you be sensitive around people you really care about? I have noticed this about Taureans. They listen to their friends' troubles but they somehow never open up and share their problems. But I feel they would like to share their deepest fears but still they hold back!IP: Logged |

Thanks Kannon McAfee Im still not sure if they are not on the sensitive side. Both of my taurean friends reacted in a sensitive manner to a silly joke I forwarded to them in whatsapp. The joke was something like -click on the image and you can see your pic, but what you see is a funny caricature. All my friends laughed at it except these two bulls. One even said he looks a lot worse than the caricature! Things like these keep happening btwn us. Its like I end up feeling guilty over nothing.

I do not find Taurus to be particularly sensitive. They can have the ultimate poker-face.I find them to pretty business-like and 'let's get to the point'---placid,level-headed,taking the rational approach, the calm amidst the storm. One of my best friends is a Taurus. She is sensitive in her own way,but she doesn't go overboard.Mostly she is calm, logical, stoic, and very very stubborn!IP: Logged |

I think it would depend on the Taurus concerned.Taurus usually are sensitive. But this is not the same sensitivity as say Cancer/ Pisces. Taurus doesn't like to stir the emotions. That part Taurus prefers leaving that alone(barring contradictory placements). The type of sensitivity that I refer to is that which is most sensitive to the status quo i.e the way things are. Taurus will be long-suffering and will not be immediately responsive until things pile up over time and become something HUGE. When the time comes for them to 'empty the bucket'. All of Scorpio/Cancer/Pisces energy combined cannot compare to the amount of emotions that can surface WOW!!! Before long however, Taurus goes back to being the "stable" rock that everyone knows. As if nothing happened. But perhaps Mars aspects to Moon,Moon in 1st, Mars in Cancer, Mars aspects to Pluto Moon/Sun, Pluto/Mars,Uranus/Moon, Uranus/Mars ,Mars/Uranus etc. may suggest a Taurus that's quite volatile. The sensitivity that you speak of is when Moon is in aspect with Mars(defensive) ,Moon is in Cancer,Mars is in Cancer or the Moon is in the 1st house. My sister has most of the positions spoken of above and she is SENSITIVE. Her Taurus Sun is vastly outweighed in this instance. And much of the "calm" reservedness that is characteristic of the sign is lost on her. I think it worthwhile reading the WHOLE chart than basing assumptions on certain positions alone. IP: Logged |

Extremely so (Taurus stellium). But perhaps it's my Scorpio Moon and hard Pluto aspects to blame.IP: Logged |
