What will this mean? I read online that at 29 degrees--you can sense a big change is coming--and I have been!

I also read it can mean a new relationship may begin--or you could get married...anyone else know or experience this change?

Deepfreeze--does the romance (potentially) pick up once it reaches 0 degrees?

Also, my ASC changes from Virgo to Libra, and my DC from Pisces to Aries...does this mean I will be more like Libra and will want a husband that is more like Aries?

I can tell you, though, that I have come to identify strongly with this sign in the last 20 years. While the influence over my personality is certainly subtle, I've had this progressed Ascendant long enough that I am just as often described in terms that might describe Libra as Virgo.

Edited to add: I like to think of it as a complementary skill-set that I've picked up over the years. While I will always be a Virgo Ascendant, I've been able to learn some (mostly) helpful lessons from my progressed Ascendant. That said, those lessons are certainly not my "natural" response mechanisms - they're more consciously controlled. I hope that makes sense?

Yet, with people that I know, trust, and see often enough such as my mother's friends. The Libra can come out.

You're still you but you're now flavored with Libra.
You may enjoy being friendly. You may want peace among people. Your focus may shift more towards others. You may smile more, be flirty, etc. This change in your manner may attract romance.

Ami--what happened to you when you were at 29 degrees of Libra and then what happened during the 0 degree, and a few degrees after in Scorpio?

Wow that is so uncanny. So it happened to you at the 29th degree...what happened to the relationship when it when to 0 degrees?

I'm fascinated because my love life has been nonexistent for quite some time--so hoping this will bring the change I need!

Actually, I'm not 100% sure that I fell in love because of the 29th degree progressed ASC. There are other things to take into account, like my natal Vertex conjunct transit Valentine (my favorite love asteroid), or my crush and I's composite Vertex conjunct transit Pluto -- any Vertex transit is likely to be a life changing experience, for better or for worse. When my ASC progressed into Libra, it actually had a good impact on the relationship because he preferred the Libra energy to the Virgo one... But it might just have been a matter of taste and synastry. I had (and still have, btw) a beautiful connection in my progressed chart : Valentine conjunct ASC at 0° Libra opposite Vertex and DSC at 0° Aries, square my IC along with my natal Mars and his natal DSC at 0° Cap. It was definitely a very nice time for the relationship (I was the happiest and most affected), but I'm not sure I would leave that only to the progressed ASC.

Several years later, I met someone with Aries rising. As for the question about marriage, it felt to me that we had been "somewhere in time" but it didn't play out that way in the present.

Very good question! I think that I found the answer.
The most commonly used method (at least that I've seen) to calculate the progressed chart is the "day for a year method". So add one day to your birth for each year that you are old. The way I'm understanding this is, it's a similar reason that we have a "leap year". The day is actually not a perfect 24 hours. The Asc actually moves a little bit more than 360 degrees in a day.

"The slow moving house structure can be understood by looking at the position of the ascendant in the Day per Year Chart at each solar return. As the Sun moves 360º in the real-time or transiting chart, the Asc will move roughly one degree in the derived chart. Recall that the derived chart is moving one day per year.

During the day the ASC will travel a little more than 360º each day. Hence if you look at the ASC only at each 24 hours in the derived chart, you will see the ASC move slowly and consistently."

My progressed chart is fascinating the heck out of me right ow...on March 21, 2016, all of my angles will be at 0, and my Vertex, which will also be at 0, will be conjunct my Descendant.

Now, I haven't been in a relationship since 2009--NOR--have I really met anyone since. I have become completely isolated and a loner, but DO want to "get my groove back"

What can you predict will happen with this formation? Will this mean I will meet someone--possibly the one?

Charlie, funny you say that--I get the same feeling--almost like a calm before the storm. Things feel sort of at a standstill, and I get this feeling something HAS to be changing soon as I can't stay still for the rest of my life--just can't figure out what it is.
