I will go so far as to say that I would not allow a Libra Moon into my inner sanctum. For me, as a Cancer Moon, I have certain core values and these have to be shared by those few people who share my walk through life. Each person has room for a few intimates, only, so these should be chosen wisely and carefully.

Libra Moon does not see loyalty in the same way as does Cancer Moon. Libra Moon will set itself on a course to justify what it wants to justify. It may ask many people until it finds the answer it wants. However, the answer seems to circumvent the heart and go to some version of the head. I think this trait is symbolic of Libra Moon. It does not seem to act from core, heart values in the same manner as a Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn or Taurus Moon.

Let me try to give an example. If a friend is being attacked and a person has to ASK what happened, rather than jump in and help, that person is not a friend, to me. I have had situations in which Libra Moons will, even, side with the person attacking me. Either of these situations ends the friendship for me. To me, loyalty trumps all.

Every person is flawed. People will hurt you and you will hurt people but if a person does not have the cajones and/or heart to stand up and defend you, why have him in your life? I would say that Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Taurus Moon have this kind of loyalty as a core value. That is my experience with these Moons.

Libra Moon has a very hard time making decisions. This is not through any fault of his own. His personality is such due to the nature of the sign of Libra in the gentle, receptive planet of the Moon. It just is! I do not blame Libra Moon for this but if you go out for dinner with him, CHOOSE the restaurant or else it will be closed by the time he makes up his mind.

Libra Moon has cold emotions. This is not his fault either. He analyzes situations instead of feeling them. If he wanted to change this, he would need to pay particular attention to it. I don’t know if it can be changed but if it can be, it must be accepted first. I find that many air moons do not accept their own nature. That is just my experience.

Libra Moon is known as the Courtesan’s Moon for the above reason. A courtesan can shut off her emotions. Nuff said.

PS I will add another addendum. The Air Moon SEES loyalty in a different way than does the Cancer/Scorpio/ etc group.

Hence, it is not as much a facing of himself as a difference in how each sign views loyalty.

There is a great difference, in my opinion.

So what you're saying is, if you're wrong, then TWO wrongs make a right. LOL

I was looking forward to your air moon articles for this very reason - that you think that they are garbage.
But no need for butthurt. Consider the source, people!

I can't wait to see Gemini moon. That should be good for a giggle.
You are the most biased astrologer I've seen. It's ok, but to charge people money for your biased opinion is not.
They can get that here for free!
We can call it, "More On Astrology".
It's a kind of phonetic transcription.

Oh, ps. Did you forget that you went out of your way to try to befriend a Gemini moon and Libra moon?

You crack me up.

Wow! Wow again!

This "article" (more like attack) really saddens me. I thought you wrote some pretty insightful ones on the other 4 you've discussed so far but this, this is totally distasteful and bitter. This is incredibly biased material. This is the type of stuff that ruins astrology for me and partly why it's not taken as seriously by sooooo many.

I am a proud Libra Moon! Some of the greatest singers, actors, models, people in general are Libra Moons. You and I have shared some wondeful, very private conversations so I'm gonna assume that I'm still apart of your inner sanctum regardless of what my Moon so happens to be. I've stood up for you when no else did many times so I'd say I'm one example of being the total opposite of what you're describing.

I'm not upset at you or offended just really shocked that you'd actually write something like this.

You are a Libra Moon? I thought you were a Cancer Moon. I have never met a Libra Moon who was loyal, as you are. That has been my life experience.

Maybe, I am wrong. If so, I will amend my thinking!

Let's have a discussion and see what people say/think.

I am all about learning and growing and if I am wrong, I will be the first to admit it and amend anything I think or write.

However, I base my opinions on ACTUAL experiences with people, as I have had with you, Barbie, not on just reading posts from people whom I have not encountered beyond their posts.

In your case, you are a kind of Libra Moon I have never met and hence, there have to be modifications in my thinking.

I would think it would be your Cancer Mars that modifies it.

I think rather than finding yourself in these situations before you decide to have an open mind. You could try not being prejudiced in the first place.
Your "loyal cancer moon" should feel embarrassed that you showed disloyalty through ignorance.

Heck ya I am! Do you think a Cancer Moon could ever put up with a Gemini Moon let alone marry one? Jk, honey you know I love that crazy ass Gemini Moon. 😜

Maybe it's all of the Libra I have (it blends together better) and the fact that it's in the 12th but I've never met an unloyal Libra let alone Moon. My sister-in-law and niece-in-law are both Libra Moons and are two of the best women I know. Loyal above all else! Shutting down emotions you bet I can but I deal with them if they actually matter. I'm not one to waste my time and energy on unnecessary things. I'm very grateful for that and my ability to see all sides of a situation. Hard time making decisions on food absolutely! I love it all! Ask me to pick a color for decorating my house, you don't have to ask me twice. I'm indecisive when it comes to little things that hold little importance.

You're alright, Ami! I hope I didn't offend you and if I did then I apologize.

No Barbie, it is cool. I can be wrong. I want to be offered opinions if someone I respect thinks I am wrong. That is how I grow and change and NOW I will modify my stance on Libra Moons, so thank you

PS I will modify the actual article after we have the discussion here.

This is how I work. I experience things. I look at charts. I form conclusions from both of these avenues of life experience.

I share the conclusions. When/if I am proven wrong( from experience of others whom I VALUE and TRUST), I change my opinions.

Then, I modify my articles with my new conclusions, as I will do with this one.

Just an observation, Ami. Not an attack or anything:

It seems like you are very, very subjective in your approach to astrology and it's limiting your outlook. Maybe you can try distancing yourself more so from your personal experience and just focus on the placement itself. Focus on how someone with placement would experience things, instead of focusing on how YOU'VE experienced the person with that placement. It might open your mind more to a different perspective and how it might not be so bad.

Just try and forget about the people you've met with this placement, as well as your own placement. Every article I've read places your Cancer Moon (or Mars or whatever else) in relation to the placement, comparing the two. I think that's preventing you from seeing some of these placements clearly.

I don't think you mean any harm and it's good that you're always open to constructive criticism. You seem like a genuine, nice person. But, be aware of the difference between making observations about a placement and having opinions about a placement. Objective observations help people understand the placement but subjective opinions can be a little counterproductive, sometimes.

But, back on topic:

I haven't been too close to many Libra Moons but I've found that I get along better with ones who aren't really Water-heavy. They're kind and charming and considerate. But, the ones who don't have much Water seem much more capable of asserting themselves honestly, while still being fair and objective.

That is cool, 89. I have my process which is particular to me.

I am both loved and disliked for the very same things.I do Astrology my way and will continue. It is just me and I really do like how I am with it

I have reached Number One in Google and have 1500-2000 visitors a day, so many people like how I do Astrology.

However, ANY constructive criticism is always welcome. Criticism meant to wound me or harass me is ignored lol

I know yours was constructive and thank you for it

I will have to chime in and agree that this article does seem heavily colored by bias. It may suffice as a very outside-oriented look, but does not delve into the true heart of a Libra MOON, which is my presumption about what you were aiming for in your series. This doesn't try to illuminate the inner working of a Libra MOON, and strikes me as more of an opinionated piece. "They are disloyal. They can't make decisions. They're cold people."

PS - Libra MOON, here. One of my very best friends is a Cancer MOON, and my other best of friends is a Scorpio MOON. Not personally offended, but I gently suggest a reevaluation and revision, especially since there are many amateur lurkers here who look up to these articles for understanding.

I added this amendment to my article.

PS I need to amend my article because I think the Mars placement can modify the Moon placement, in this, and by logical conclusion, other Moons. In this case, I think a Cancer Mars can change the nature of the Libra Moon. I am open to other factors, as well, as I, always, am!

What a raw post - I don't mind it! Even if I am slightly colored by Libra (Full Moon in Aries, Mars in Libra).

I also had a horrible experience with a chick I dated who had her Moon in Libra. This person had a rough chart to begin with (Pieces Sun conj. Mars conj. Saturn)... I felt like this person could not make a decision on their own, EVER, with out the help of someone else. And when they did make their own decision, it was almost wrong every, single, time - no joke. On to top of that, our entire relationship was held up by the people around her, when they left, the relationship broke completely. When it finally ended, I was accused of not defending her from accusing someone of something they didn't do - I was shocked I was being made out the bad guy, she was shocked I didn't BE the bad guy... in her mind she justified that I was wrong... that kind of justification is extremely dangerous - I want nothing of it. She wasn't totally a bad person, though, they were just unfortunately given a very hard chart

I think what you described, Ami, are people with hard aspects, or someone who's very undeveloped, unable to cope with the qualities that make up Libra Moon. Just my 2 cents(:

It is not easy for me to be criticized. I lost my confidence. I was in a terrible hole for a long time. I started coming out of it when I found LL and Astrology. My personal pledge is to be real and authentic, the best I can be. That means to have real emotions, real likes and dislikes and to say them straight out, without trying to cover my bases. I modify my stances when I see they need that, as I am doing in this article.

This is my personal quest to authenticity and the way *I* would like Astrology done if I went to an Astrologer or read a website. I give what I like to get but I do this all as something I have CHOSEN to do.

What about house placement and aspects? Those should be taken into account as well. My Moon is heavily aspected in fact my Mars is square my Moon. The nature of the Moon is totally dependent on the person and his or her whole chart. It isn't fair to assume what you've written when all people are capable, no are totally different. We're all our own persons with our minds and feelings. We handle things in our ways.

I'm sorry that some Libra Moon hurt you but you have to realize that 1 doesn't call the show for all. Cancer isn't the poster sign for loyalty. All 12 are loyal just in their own manner. I know you aren't a naive or unintelligent person and know this.

I don't agree, Barbie, at all. I think loyalty is seen very, very differently by different signs.

I think there are very real modifications to the Moon signs, though, and these really do factor in and that is what I am modifying here and happy to do so!

No Moon is better than other. The Moon travels fast through each sign and gathers the best of each, and we all know all signs are equally valuable. Libra Moon is a Venusian Moon (check your Venus for significant insight on your Libra Moon) - outstanding qualities: a social, esthetic, refined, pleasure oriented (in this case mostly esthetic pleasures), fair, balanced, mediator, arts (and sometimes exceptional taste), peace, law, negotiations and leadership Moon. Makes one potentially very popular. All Venus in Libra features are emphasized through this Moon, on the level of needs/emotions. Also, a hyper Cardinal Moon - the Moon itself being cardinal (ruling Cancer), but with a social, venusian twist. Libra and Cancer Moon are compatible through their cardinal features, if they learn to cooperate, rather than boss each other.

An alternative article on Libra Moons here, to be added to Ami's view:
http://jeanbakula.hubpages.com/hub/Libra-Moon-Leader-Likeable-Lovely

In terms of synastry, obviously a Libra Moon can be gold for someone's chart, if their Sun/Moon call for it.

The problem with this is that you are giving an opinion, not a reading. There's a HUGE difference.

Many of us will not tolerate your opinion being labeled a "reading".
That's my only problem. I don't care what you personally think of any placement. But it's not a reading, Ami. It's an opinion. It's not an unbiased look. When I first joined you gave a free mini-reading. It was good and accurate.
When you stray off to your opinion. You are now explaining a moon based on your moon. (Discounting that whole charts matter).
In those cases, it's your unique chart and theirs. Someone else would see them in a completely different light.

That's what I meant when I say they're loyal in their own manner. It isn't fair to assume that people who don't have Cancer influence are incapable of being loyal. That's just incredibly unrealistic and quite frankly, ignorant. That's a very simple assumption.

But I'm glad that you're willing to modify it. I know I get totally put-off reading any article that's puts down anything.

One person's garbage is another person's treasure.
But it's actually neither garbage or treasure.

See the difference?
