I would truly appreciate your views on this.

Astrologically speaking:

1. When do you think is the best moment to launch a marketing/ awareness campaign? I read an article recently saying that New Moons are the best moment to launch things, including marketing strategies, as they indicate a renewed cycle - I'm still checking whether this is accurate.

2. Do any generic transits reveal any information on whether the marketing campaigns should be more, for lack of a better word, dictatorial (i.e. Share this, Look here, Click there), or non-intrusive (i.e. Would you like to find out more about x, y, z? Have you been struggling/wondering/ etc about this or that?, and so on) ?

3. Is there any difference, astrologically, between launching a campaign with a commercial purpose, and launching one with a purpose to spread awareness?

I'm asking because I'm just about to launch a social media campaign for an organisation I've been volunteering for, this coming Monday - it will be purely for raising awareness about human rights issues, not about getting people to buy stuff - and I just realised that I timed it to start this Monday, which is just a few days before the Full Moon (which according to that aforementioned article is the worst time to launch anything) and now I got a little nervous about it.

Do these things have more to do with ongoing transits which impact everyone, or more with the person launching the campaign and the transits to their personal natal chart? Or does it not matter so much and I'm over-thinking it?

In general, good reasoning, but you'd want to see some strong Jupiter and/or flowing Uranus in with that new Moon (exact) alignment if possible.

I don't think you need to try to draw exact instructions for how to communicate (long-term) from very transient planetary alignments. That's why they call them transits.

Yes, but I don't think that is terribly important. I'd still recommend Jupiter, Uranus in order to connect with the group mentality.

You're involved, but its not about you. You might find that you have certain progressions coincidental to this campaign starting. Just use your window of opportunity to help humanity.

THANK YOU for replying, you make great points as usual. I'll follow your advice and keep an eye on Jupiter and Uranus + try to explore windows of opportunities to their fullest potential

I'll be posting updates here if and when I find any astrological correlation with the progress of my campaign, in case this helps yours. The only thing so far is that this was delayed for a few months for numerous reasons, and now that the last exact Uranus-Pluto square officially ended (March 28), we're suddenly good to go.

In the meantime, I'm sharing a non-astrology-related resource you might find useful - you might well be a marketing wizard and not at all interested in marketing tips, but I'm putting it here just in case I just finished a marketing course and this was the most useful thing out of it, and I've only used their free content:

Generally speaking, I'd check to see if there are any transiting aspects to your natal Midheaven. That's a good way to feel out your next career move/public venture. Also, is anything passing through your 11th House now? Because this kind of stuff is THE domain of the 11th, as I'm sure you know.

And good luck! This sounds really important to you (I'm sensing it's what you were referring to in my thread; can't remember exactly what you wrote off the top of my head.) So, I hope everything turns out well. I'd echo Kannon and say just simply check out your current transits. But, don't get too fatalistic about it, either.

Good advice on not becoming too fatalistic - it's an easy trap to fall into.

Right now I have Sun, Moon and Mercury trine MC, so the moment might be good. Saturn has also been doing a little dance around my MC, it conjuncted it exact once very recently, now is heading into the 2nd conjunction as it went retrograde, and will conjunct it for the 3rd time when it goes direct again this year. Neptune squares my MC and Pluto semi-squares it currently too.
No transits in my 11H, but Pluto only just left it after wreaking havoc there, by burning down all my ideas and goals over the past years and building new ones, so it's probably ok that my 11H has no transits at the moment. There are however a lot of aspects made by transits to the natal planets in my 11H (I have a stellium there) so it's active enough I think.

Also following Kannon's advice, I checked Uranus and Jupiter and they are currently in a trine, so I'm taking this as a good window of opportunity to launch a wide campaign
