He almost certainly has a cardinal or fixed sign on the Asc. Based on these pictures Gemini is not one I'd be looking at if I were rectifying his chart. His face is too broad for someone with so many planets in mutable signs, then to have another mutable sign on the Asc. Based on the supposed b.t. range you've gotten, I'd be looking at Leo, Cancer, Taurus. The best way to get his chart down right is to press those nearest the birth for what they know and narrow down from a possible wider range. Or get an official record from public/hospital records. Read these starting with Taurus and see which fit:
