So one interpretation of Venus in the 6th is that the person will tend to have romances at the work place. There is no truer example of this than my romantic life. My Venus in Libra in the 6th has gotten nearly all my romances from work. But now I have a story to share with you guys because it is well.. I just can't escape the Venus in the 6th house. So I've been trying hard to stop being my Venus in the 6th, 7th house Sun at work. No more dating coworkers, just no. I've tried to behave. Last weekend I went out with a coworker and a few of her friends. We're all having a good time and everyone's mingling around with their dates. I went alone so I had to find someone to talk to. I make eye contact with this beautiful blonde, looks a little older than me, but I like older women with all the Saturn stuff going on in my chart. We say hello, and hit it off. And very quickly we end up dancing bad dancing, kissing, staring into each others eyes, and all the nice things. Well, conversation picks up after all the fun and what do I find out? She is one of the new hires at my office. She's also very likely to be a superior and knows my boss. I tried but the universe is stronger than me. I accept Venus in the 6th house. I swear if I get into politics someday I'll pull a Clinton. Anyone know other 6th house Venus people as extreme as me in this regard?

I'm not a Venus in 6th native, sorry, but this post is pretty funny . I'm a Libra Venus (in 4th) and it just reminded me of the weird and ironic things that I often encounter in my dating and everyday life lol.Sorry this happened to you though. IP: Logged |

I am sorry for your Venus 6th house problems, but I also find it very humorous. Hope everything works out Koho. I had no idea Venus in the 6th house could do that. IP: Logged |

It makes sense. Isn't the ruler of your 1st house in the 6th? That area of life is where your focus is likely to be.And since Venus is all about co-operation,fun and all that is pleasurable, it is likely that if in the 6th,you either make it a point to enjoy what you are doing, are working in an ideal environment or work with a lot of females(Venus). So it would also make much sense that in an atmosphere of much camaraderie and coming together, love should blossom etc. I have Mars/Pluto in 6th myself. Can't exactly say that the two create anything romantic at all. Much of my work life is very tense and crises oriented. Every job I have had has this "rush in the last minute to make things happen" element. Very tense! Venus is usually where a possible love-life is borne from.Because that is the area of life where you are most open, relaxed and receptive to it. IP: Logged |

Lol! I have Venus in the 6th, opposing my DSC. Part of the stellium in my 7th.Yeah, during my summer job, a couple of my co-workers (even females) developed crushes on me. I flirted a lot and was drawn to men I wouldn't usually bat an eye at twice but ultimately nothing big happened. I was interested in this one guy and he turned out to be an Aquarius. I got those "familiar" karmic feels with him. I swear this is the 4th Aqua now! IP: Logged |

Speaking of your Venus, Koho, there's a lunar eclipse in Libra 14, on 4/4/15. This is relevant to me being a Cancer, but if the moon conjuncts your Venus during the eclipse this could be meaningful to you. I don't know how, of course, lol. I wish my Venus interactions could be identified as clearly as yours. My Cancer Venus is in 11...Friends and associates? Don't all relationships start that way? IP: Logged |

With Venus in my 10th house I wonder if that means the guys I choose will get better and better. I can only hope. My most recent ex was way better than a relationship I started after high school. After high school I was with a total dead beat. At age 22 I was with a Marine. Who treated me much better and would actually get the tab on dates. There were still plenty of issues in the relationship though. So hopefully someday somewhere I'll meet someone even better than him. IP: Logged |

My chart just seems fairly straight forward compared to most. I haven't forgotten about you and the NN thread. Just haven't had time to sit down and think about it and I wouldn't want to half ass my thought. ---- My Venus is on the 16'54 degree so it'll be a 2-3 degree conjunction on Venus in the 6th. Interesting. Well, I've never paid attention to eclipses but if it is as powerful as everyone says then this will be significant for me. Once the Moon conjuncts Venus in the 6th I imagine it's some sort of catalyst with my relationship with women, perhaps a new romance, and being in the 6th, at work. Good eye pointing that out, I wouldn't of noticed. I'd also add that the Venus contact should also be huge because of my Taurus Ascendant. 1st house signifying the life path, and Venus being the ruler and hit by an eclipse should be significant. My 7th house in Scorpio, 7th house being in analogy with Libra, and Venus should be taken into account. Also worth noting my Vertex is in Libra at 19'42 degrees. I'll play close attention and see how this all plays out! ----- Cancer Venus in the 11th house. Hard one. Fusing Cancer energy into an Aquarius realm. "Natal Venus in the 11th House With your natal Venus in your 11th house, you like to be friends with someone first before getting involved with them romantically. You can stay friends with them after you break up, and it’s important for you to have an intellectual connection with someone. You want someone who’s an individual, who’s original, and who’s unusual. Quirky types are right up your alley. You value your friends and are highly sociable. You may belong to many groups because you like the feeling of belonging. You may be a humanitarian, and like doing work that helps people or the planet. " How true is any of that? IP: Logged |

Good analysis. Work means a great deal to me. I find good pleasure in work and make sure I enjoy it. To achieve my career and work goals rank far above the other usual life goals people have like marriage, kids, whatever. IP: Logged |

ha ha ha! My Pluto is at 16'32. We could run a study.Take your time with the whole NN thing. Inspiration can't be forced. I expect to get some answers from the universe soon. I can just feel it coming. April is great for both Leos and Cancers and I need it. Wow! Venus is in Taurus now, and so is Mars at 4'33. Mars probably hasn't touched your Asc, but it will soon. Take that into account also. Here are transits for your Sun and Asc. They always say listen to both so that you can realize the layers of horoscope. I wonder about the Moon... Scorpio April 2015...I actually don't know what to think about this one, so I'm sorry if you don't like it. She did a great job with Cancer and Leo, but she did them much earlier in the day (I can tell by the sun and her jacket). I guess she was doing them all day, lol. Maybe she got tired. I hope it's useful to you. Taurus April 2015...wow, so above I was wondering about the value of listening to the Sun/Asc sign transits if your Moon is in that sign. I was just listening to Taurus, as your ascendant, but I noticed I am experiencing Taurus transits, as she explains them, now. I just started taking care of myself. It was like someone flipped a switch and I started getting to the gym every morning by 6am. She talked about going to the spa. I just became addicted to my gym's sauna. This is Venus and Mars in Taurus. "When Venus passes my sign, I get more beautiful" Are you experiencing that? lol. I suddenly feel awesome after months of blah. IP: Logged |

This is very true. This is a good one. I do like friendships. When two people have a genuine care for the well being of each other, that is a worthwhile relationship, with or without passion. Those are the only connections I like to form, and I like to maintain them even if passion and commitment go. Ah yeah Aquarius...well the only aspects Venus receives is a Saturn sextile, Pluto square, and a trine from Uranus. The trine from Uranus is very nice. I really love what Uranus brings. You know when I think of it now, when I am in a social setting with friends I probably bring a lot of the Uranian/Venusian energy. Up close and personal I get all Cancer like, and then Pluto comes creeping outta the closet- lol.I used to be into quirky guys. I still am, but I am really fascinated by life. I enjoy all human beings. There's too much to enjoy to have a type. When I come back down to earth I'll tell you I have a type, and that's Capricorn, but I really do love everyone. Thanks for that, Koho!

I'm so surprised that so many of you with Venus in the 6th have actually found this to be true! I have only ever been in very heavily female work environments (I'm a gay guy), so I rarely even meet other men through work. Most men that I date tend to have wildly different career paths than me. I have dated an awful lot of men that work in the medical professions, though... ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

My Mars is in Aquarius in the 5th. My Moon is in Sagittarius in the 3rd. My 7th House ruler - Neptune - is in Capricorn in the 4th.None of those pan out for me, either. (Except maybe Moon in Sag - I've pretty much only ever met men through the university. My 9th House is unoccupied. In an oddly circular fashion - it's dispositor is Venus, haha) ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

Wait.Is your Venus also in the 6th? Your Asc is in Virgo/Dsc in Pisces. So where your Asc ruler's(Mercury)house is in, is where you are likely to be more "active". Asc Virgo/Dsc in Pisces people often attract people who are "of service" in one form or another. Any planets in 7th will modify that of-course. Asc in Virgo seem to be "clinical" in their outlook. Its only fitting then, I think, for them to attract people in the medical profession or people in service professions(Pisces); These people are drawn to them because Virgo is objective and realistic. A fine tuning balance for their more compassionate and tender nature. The ruler of the 7th(Neptune) in 4th, emphasizes this need for emotional connection or intimacy. I wonder if they come across too "homey", "moody" or "brooding" to you? Where is Jupiter(the old ruler) at?
