Well, this may not have a flow to it. I’m not an astrologer or a writer. I just wing it and see what happens. But I wanted to write a bit about Gemini Moon. I feel like I know this moon pretty well as my moon is Gemini! My best friend’s moon is Gemini, I’ve had acquaintances, friends, and romances with Gemini moons.

Gemini moon is, BUSY. Of course how it’s busy can be modified by it’s position and aspects, but they always seem to be busy nonetheless. They love to multitask. It’s almost as if they are out of their element if not having several things going on at once. If not then they can get a little stir-crazy. Mentally, they are very bouncy. By that I mean, they may very well be well educated and knowledgeable about one or two topics with which they are passionate about but chances are they hold a lot of random information about several things. Curiosity can hit them at any moment and soon they are on the hunt for information. The downside, if you want to see it that way, is that if their attention is not immediately captured then they may drop things and move on. So things may go unfinished or they’ll only gather bits of information. They need a very steady stream of stimulation. Or so they think that they do! Over time they can burn themselves out if they are not careful. That can leave them calling in sick to work or not showing up for school. Not to mention, maybe they just found something more interesting to focus on that day!

Emotionally, this can be a very moody moon. It’s just the nature of a moon in Gemini. They don’t mean to be moody. While some would say that certain moons, particularly air moons, don’t feel as deeply, I would say that this is not at all true. Gemini moon can feel deeply. The trouble is, and this is the source of the moodiness, they may feel several emotions at once. They sometimes may even be laughing AND crying at the same time! I personally did this when my father passed. I was feeling so thankful and happy to have spent all of those years with him making memories but also grieving that the end of new memories is here. This moon moves very quickly. They may feel an emotion, drop that one and another one comes along.

They also like to analyze these emotions. They have so much energy to expend on other things and deep emotions can be a little bit stressful. They want to understand WHY they are feeling what they feel. So they’ll mentally run through the situation from beginning to end and from every angle. They want to make sure that emotion is there for a good reason.

So how are their emotions expressed? Communication of course! They want to talk to you about them. They want to explain and share with you why they feel what they feel perhaps more than just feeling it and accepting it as is. If a Gemini moon is upset with you then you may hear something like this, “Do you want to know why I’m upset?!”. They want you to understand why they are upset. It’s not expected that you’ll “intuit” the whole story of what upset them, but of course that depends on the moon’s placement/aspects as well as the chart. Generally speaking though, they’ll want to explain it with logic so that it is definitive why they feel what they do. It's important to note that when a Gemini Moon talks their emotions they might not even appear emotive/emotional at all; in fact, they may come off far too eloquent and contained for someone who is expressing how they feel. This can frustrate people as they might think that Gemini Moon doesn't actually feel what they claim to feel and subsequently arouse suspicion in those listening to the Gemini Moon and leave them wondering what's really going on in that head of theirs. While there is some truth to that (not feeling what they claim to feel), it's just that Gemini Moon is very skilled at separating themselves to deliver an account of their emotions that is as objective as possible. They may not be feeling what they claim at the very moment they are speaking it but they definitely feel it in their quieter, private moments (which may be so very few and fleeting to begin with).

Oddly though, if you cut off their logic, then you’ll meet a stone cold wall. They may be feeling for sure, but they won’t share it. For example, if they’ve done their very best to explain their emotion and you disagree or don’t “get it”. They may just give up altogether and refuse to speak to you about it.

This moon can be a bit child-like which is up to you if you like it or not. They love to be silly and they love to make a joke out of just about anything. They typically have something to pull out of the hat to make a joke with their little bit of knowledge on just about any topic. They absolutely LOVE it when they have others to share this with. It’s like a breath of life!

All-in-all, it’s a fast moving, child-like, curious, friendly, and mentally based moon. It’s one of those moons that is almost a love it or hate it moon. They can be deep feeling, especially if a loved one is in need of them but generally, they really prefer to keep things light so that they can keep reaching out and gather information.

Thank you SO much for writing this!!! Two of my brothers and two of my ex boyfriends are Gemini moons and I have to say that this moon sign is one of my favorites.
I've been trying to find something that accurately describes you folk and you literally nailed everything on the head.

I also feel like Gemini moons are very analytical of their feelings opposed to say a Cancer moon (no disrespect). They are able to understand and put things in perspective which is something I appreciate.

You're so right about them wanting to talk out their feelings. I literally LOL'ed at

I find that Gemini moon people are funny without even trying to be as well. They could simply be participating in a conversation and without another thought, they can make the whole room laugh.

This part is so true as well!!

Totally sounds like a couple of people I know But I also find this side of them to be adventurous and have definitely participated in roaming around with them. They make even the most boring tasks seem fun.

Thanks for writing this! And don't worry about being a writer, your point came across well. Plus your voice is relatable and inviting.

Nice job! Light hearted, charming, witty, fickle, yes. But, deep feeling, really? That comes as a surprise.

The one Gemini Moon man I knew up close went through so many emotional spaces so fast that I never knew where he stood. One day he'd be this, the next he'd be the opposite. It was hard to trust him.

My oldest and closest friend is a Gemini, Sun-Moon conjunct. She's very perceptive and intuitive.

Should say, they CAN be deep feeling I suppose. Haha
We have our moments.
Maybe it's like, three feet of water and we think we could drown. Water moons be in the deep end of the pool.

Edit: fixed it. You are correct that I wouldn't say that's how we are but simply that we can. It's possible. LOL

*props* DF! That was really well written

This is an extra loveable Moon sign. I'm not sure what it is, but Gemini Mooners have facial expressions that make me feel really comfortable. I instantly feel at ease around them, like we've been friends for ages.
They have open and bright facial features, and very witty eyes. I feel like they're always about to wink at me lol Besides, they are hilarious and their original jokes crack me up!

I know many Gemini Moon people and have often mentioned them on LL - my mum, my ex and many friends

But I also have a cute little non-human Gemini Mooner in my life lol My dog is an Aquarius/Gemini/Aries ASC. The way he moves his eyebrows sometimes and the extent to which he is expressive and the variety of sounds he makes for different reasons (because he's very communicative) is beyond funny.
It's definitely not a - "meh... all dogs do this" - type of thing. He has a very distinctive personality. He reminds me of the dog in "The Artist".

Ah ha ha! That's really sweet and funny.

Thank you! I really feel like I learned something of a moon I know little about, or I thought I know little about. So much of what you wrote described my Gem Mars, so I enjoyed it for a couple of reasons. Yes, "inviting and relatable" writing is an accurate description. Very well done, DF.

Very good! I enjoyed reading this- especially the insights you talked about on the connection between feeling and thinking that people misunderstand with Gemini Moon. IDK, Gem Moons are just really enjoyable to be around, I mean you just never know what they are going to say or do! lol.

I expect to see a Pisces Moon article to be written tomorrow.

My best friend has her moon here!

We like to watch crime shows together, talk, exercise, smoke hooka, and drink wine, and have little get together with friends and family, go out to the bar.

She will get aggravated when it takes me forever to tell a story. She wont hesitate to tell me if she disagrees with something, I'm doing, saying, and believing.

Oh yeah and she is up to date with current pop culture. Very hard worker. Very sassy.

Definitely deep-feeling. Although my Moon and Venus are in the 8th house, square Mars in Pisces, and trine Pluto (all bogged down, in other words), I do believe it about other Gemini Moons.

I used to keep my feelings to myself, and you are right on about giving up on communicating, if you don't listen, or roll your eyes (that last one just kills me). I write things out in a very clear manner when I can, I've used email, handwritten letters, voice mails, etc. I told dad earlier on, "some people don't seem to be able to comprehend what I have made clear in writing; maybe I should try interpretive dance."

I have been in two relationships with Gem Moons. Neither of them lacked depth, both of them were relatively reserved, but they were great in social situations ( if that makes sense?!)

Oh gosh, I don't have time to process this. I'll comment more appropriately after we finish our move (and then we'll practically be neighbors, so if I don't agree with it I'll just drive over and tell you so).

That's gold, you described me to a T. I am a queen of multitasking and I wouldn't have it any other way. Well written ☺

I would post a lot more on LL but oftentimes I will read someone's post, for example Venus2tinkerbell's topic on the moons, then go off on a tangent listening to dozens of the krs channels vids or I'll go off to find where a particular asteroid, or whatever, is in my chart (or other's) then find something else of interest and forget all about coming back to the original topic to reply.

I'd write others but this of course is my moon and moons that I've been around a lot.
I don't think that I could accurately get the others.

+1 on all the applause for this article.

One of my closest friends is a Gemini Moon with a Leo stellium, we've known each other since school, and this description fits her perfectly. She had great problems getting good marks in school, because (as you pointed out in your article) anything that didn't catch her attention immediately, never got a chance. All the teachers loved her however, because of her quick wit and charm - and when I've run into teachers long after we had graduated, everyone always asked for her and how her life is going, while some of our other gang members were long forgotten

You should definitely consider writing more pieces of this kind, DeepFreeze, even if it isn't for Moons but other placements you know well. This article is high quality!

My sister is a Pisces moon. If I did, I'd have to be VERY open to being dead wrong which is ok because it would only go here. We'll see.
Might do Venus square Neptune. I know that one (unfortunately LOL)
