Oh my goodness, yes that would make sense! Now that you mention it, I think I did read an astrology interpretation about drugs and Neptune squares. Ugh in my 10th house too. I read that Neptune can lead to uncertainty in career for Gemini people right now.

I had a paid internship fall through before Neptune went rx and am now doing it unpaid.

I will have an interview for a position I really want and hope I get it!

I read that after this transit is when everything falls into place though, so we shall see!
I've read horoscopes that have warned me about the self destructive side of Neptune going rx.

To start off with what I've got going in the chart that I feel is relevant:
Black Moon 12 Capp, 10th (conjunct MC by a few minutes)
Uranus 13 Capp 10th
Neptune 16 Capp 10th
And soon-to-be-aspected NN 19 Capp
So pretty much everything is happening on the inside, I guess..
Concerned about tNeptune just entering my 12th, Uranus that has been transiting my 12th since God knows when, for the moment Sqaring my NN

Well about them transits... it's been a whirlwind so far, but not in the best of ways. Feelings of helplessness and of not being good enough and insecure about my image in the world have made me retreat into simpler things somehow, doing things I didn't have problems with before, I do now, for example keeping my motivation to do the right thing (i.e.what society expects you to do, deadlines, stuff done in a hurry) just isn't working for me right now. I also seem to have problems in my approach towards authority, I just avoid it, having it and submitting to it.
Also, very little makes sense to me right now...as in, I find little reasons for doing just about anything. I'm waiting for the liberating part to show, but with that Neptune in Pisces in my 12th, I really don't know what to expect, more confusion or a deep calming sense of one-ness, or something.

Also, with Uranus transiting my 12th and it still has some 6 degrees to go, I haven't been sleeping fine since some years now, with very frequent nightmares. Also, I sense of frustration because of always losing personal insights because of seemingly scattered thoughts. All that represents my internal processes (which I value deeply, IC 4th Cancer with Venus, SN and Chiron) are always bothered by some unexpected event.
An interesting thing I've noticed is that I tended to tell more of what I was feeling to the world without fearing judgement. I'm quite secretive and private otherwise. That telling of stuff did not quite work out for me since I was left feeling empty afterwards.

Also felt quite disconnected from loved ones, and tend to feel so when I'm in this gloomy fatalistic state of mind. Some 2 depressions have come and gone.

Have been studying fanatically the Black Moon and South Node as of recently, and pursued astro more.

Regarding the question of "how did you prepare", well, unless you're an excellent astrologer and understand your chart so completely you'll know exactly how you'll feel because of such transits, you can't really do much because trust me, you don't even know your reactions when they happen.

I felt/feel shaken and unsecure, my view of world has changed, I don't trust to people/in things I used to trust, I have no more interest in things I used to love, I'm no longer happy because of things that used to made me feel happy.

I got my Cardinal start in 2010 when transit north node conjunction my north node exact, Pluto about 4 degrees away... I moved out of home. Then the following year, Pluto moved right on to my nodes, Saturn in libra squares my nodes and opposite my moon. Uranus stsrted entering Aries... Needless to say I worked and worked and worked and faced many challenges.

2 years ago, Uranus is on my moon, Pluto is 2degrees from my modes, Saturn enter Scorpio and transit north node was on my Dsc.... I started moving again. I also could start feeling Scorpio saturn right away.
Since my life has been very chaotic. Transit Saturn hit my Dsc and Pluto while Pluto hovered over my nodes and Neptune and Venus. The coming Pluto retrograde will be 3 degrees from my nodes before it finally goes direct.... I have redefined my goals. I have s fixed stellium in Aqua so I was going through a harsh fixed transit and harsh Cardinal transit. I cried a lot as sometimes I couldn't take any more. Uranus over moon yanks what nurtures you. Pluto intensifies that pain while Saturn told me to be humbled, more disciplined. It was rough ....

Pluto is gonna keep hovering over my Venus for a while while Uranus is squaring my Mars. Don't know what to tell ya....

Usually Uranus opposing Sun is a time of feeling extremely restless(Uranus).

The Sun represents a model of whom we are gravitating towards being/realizing.

Challenging aspects to the Sun often suggest that the prototype that we are projecting ourselves on(Sun) is constantly being re-modelled,re-designed and re-fitted.

Tra Uranus opposing Sun suggests that your life goals /path (Sun)right now becomes questioned(square) by you.

Uranus aspects can evoke feelings that your life is mundane and boring and perhaps your self-image(Sun) is too "safe" and "boring"!!

At first it starts off as depression; what can I do to revolutionize myself? What can I change about my life so that I feel a lot better about where its headed?

Other people may feel that their partners are too demanding(especially if Saturn is conjunct) and will look for more freedom.

In the opposite of-course, it could happen that your partners think you the one who is too demanding and perhaps want to break-way from you etc.

If in the 8th house,it may suggest that since the ego is invested in all things investigative. You may discover something profound about yourself right now that influences the change of your external ego.

It may happen through some crises or external event.But whatever it is, it'll serve to redefine what you believe about yourself and radically shift and separate the "old" you and the "new" you(this change may even be overnight).

Is transiting Saturn hitting any of your natal planets? Pluto is too far from the Sun to be the culprit. What is your Asc?

Planets in the 6th often suggest(at worst) that we often find ourselves in the middle of conflict,generate conflict or have to resolve minute issues that made the conflict possible.

Now with Sun there, a lot of the conflict can be with authority figures(especially males). Those whom define for us whom we are gravitating to become(Sun).

As I said, the Sun is whom we are trying to become. And with the Sun in 6th, we are often "at war"(6th)with ourselves(Sun). And this projected outside could be like feeling that the father/God(Sun)is our enemy(6th).

This planet position is often a strong indicator of issues with the father, the father figure and even "God head" itself(the ultimate "authority"-which is the Sun).

But you must also take in mind that this conflict is an external projection of this inner chasm.

Perhaps it is born from our own innate belief that whom we are struggling to become(Sun) is just not possible(6th).

Or it is filled with all sorts of complications and obstacles. And then we become cynical and resentful- which can often translate to health issues(Sun in 6th)

Sun in 6th house individuals are often concerned with the minutia and sensitive to that(much like Virgo Sun).

So they can be easily discouraged and are often in need of a lot more self-encouragement and self-belief that they will overcome minor setbacks.

The 6th house is famed as the house of illness / disease. But with the Sun there, this also suggests that once you master yourself, you can master the troubles of this house and become an expert at them

Now Uranus opposing Sun in 6th may bring some upsets here. Watch your health(Sun in 6th often highlights health issues)and watch specifically the relationship that you have with Dad(Sun).

Some may even abandon religious sanctions around this time(as a "rebellion"- Uranus against God-Sun). Opting for more freedom.

At the beginning of the year, January I have broke up my long term relationship. We even lived together but it wasnt healthy at all. So one day we just woke up and decided that its over. It was very difficult because it came out of nowhere but lets just say I survived. lol

Then while I was getting back on track I have met someone new. Who was his 5th house in Scorpio with Saturn, Venus and Pluto. Crazy!

My view on relationships have completely changed but also I have changed enormously. I learned a lot about myself and grew as a person, so as hard as some of these transits are...Pluto I love you <3

In June when Uranus was sitting on my Sun, my daughter was hit by a drunk driver.

Talk about scared, she is fine now but the accident broke her hip.

I know better than to resist Uranus, the best I can do is go with the flow.

As far as Pluto goes, I feel like I'm walking on egg shells.

Uranus is the ruler of the natal 11th house. So I guess that its transit to my 1st house would make 11th house principles important?

*I am particularly drawn to the unconventional, spirited or "inspired". Anyone who seems "normal" need not apply.

This aspect is quite exciting(I must admit). I just love the circle of friends that it is helping in expanding.

*The opposition to the ruler of my Asc(Mars),has had me feeling very restless.

I have begun to act really strange and odd: Feeling extremely touchy and defensive -particularly at work.

This aspect is quite volatile and argumentative and it is also responsible for the sporadic spending of money whenever and wherever I like.

Well, now Uranus is a couple degrees away I think, so no longer directly opposing. I still feel the effects. But the most major disruptions are over, I hope (fingers crossed). How I coped: at the beginning of the year - badly, very badly. Now - the dust has settled, and whatever else is happening, I'm just going with the flow. The key is to *not* stress about things that are not in your control. But that's easier said than done, right? However, I keep telling myself that, and little by little - that lesson is sinking in.

Yeah, could be. Solar energy is hard to get a handle of and "direct". It directs us. Also, maybe the conjunction was not a dynamic enough aspect to be felt? Do you have something similar natally? Unless it's unsettling, it's probably not felt as much.
