Can anyone tell me more about this placement?

How does it relate to someone's sexuality and what they attract or who they are as a lover/person in general?

Planets in signs are very general.

Venus in fixed air sign Aquarius tends to emphasize friendship and association with lots of different types of people. This spreading of affection can be easier for the person than closer bonds unless there is plenty of earth/water in the chart or lunar/saturnine factors.

For women, it tends to make them less tolerant of being bound in commitment. For men, it tends to emphasize more flightiness. Both can be social butterflies.

I personally have three friends I can think of right off hand who have Venus in Aquarius -- two women and one guy. All three of some of my best friends. I think they will all remain in my mind as friends my whole life even if I have very little contact with them.

My Piscean sister has Venus in Aquarius. She is quite a flighty type in some ways, but settles with one person after a while. She seems to know EVERYONE! We could not walk down the street without her bumping into someone she knows. She is quite committed in her relationships from what I can tell. She now has a same sex partner and they seem happy. There seems to be fluidity in their sexuality. I love their own mindedness.

This applies to many Aqua Suns and moons too (to a lesser extent for Aqua moon)

I'm a Venus Aquarius and just wanted more info

All this seems true. I definitely am not one to be tied down. I like the idea of commitment but not sure I am quite ready to settle down just yet.

I also do like stimulating partners. I cannot be with someone that I can't talk to. I need to have in-depth conversations with you in order for us to be together. So having a talker is a must I also do like edgier people as well. What most people find attractive bores me. I can agree that they are attractive, but they're just not my cup of tea.

I am a super friendly person though and have a range of friends. It's true, we do know everyone! lol We like knowing a lot of people and keeping in contact with them, even if we will never see them again.

My most recent ex had his Venus in Aquarius as well and I would say we meshed quite well together because of this aspect. However, paradise ended quick What brought us together eventually brought us apart.

Venus in Aquarius here.
I think one of the big things about us is we don't have a "type". You'll always hear people going on about how they have a type and they aren't interested in someone unless they match their type. As an aqua venus I can't understand that because I don't have a type, I'm interested in all types of women.

I date the three Venus in Air signs often, Aquarius Venus being the least.

But of the ones I dated it has always been easy to go from friends to lovers back to friends and back to lovers. Even with ones that had some heavy Cancer themes it was easy to break off and come back. Never any complications. I really appreciate that.

I have Venus in Aquarius (tight conjunct Juno) in the 5th house. I'm female. Venus is also my chart ruler.

There are many other things that may affect as well, but in general, what I think it does to me:

- I can be ultra committed to someone in a long term relationship and then one day I wake up one day and drop it like a hot potato. This has been confusing and heartbreaking for past partners. I don't mean to hurt them, but it just occurs to me one day that it's time to move on. It's not a sad end for me, because I feel like the relationship died a while ago and neither of us noticed, but we'll always have friendship. But, these were all relationships where 'I love you' was never said, so I think the commitment was one-sided anyway.

- I have difficulty feeling close to people, even the ones I've lived my whole life with. Sometimes my best friends feel like strangers.

- I can fully commit to someone and never cheat (or even think of cheating), but at the same time feel completely terrified of commitment. I want to feel free within the relationship.

- I can easily move on from any relationship and often forget I've even dated someone.

- I have many, many people that I consider acquaintances (that would call me a friend), and very few people that I call friends. Some of the people that I call friends are people I haven't even talked to in a year. But, if you are able to create some kind of intimacy or connection with me on a level that I feel - you will be my true friend forever.

- I have so many people in my life who are so different from each other that the idea of having them all at the same party is frightening because I know that nobody would have anything in common. It's also scary because I am aware that I allow myself to change to suit them, so I would walk around like a Schizophrenic if this party actually happened.

- My exes are all so different from each other that I can't figure out what my type is. They tend to be younger, in shape, and play a typical male role. But, maybe they are eccentric in the eyes of others.

- Every guy I've dated more than 60 days said he could marry me. (that might have something to do with Venus exact conjunct Juno though...?)

- I can easily change my fashion style. I easily adapt to new situations. I don't get homesick. I accept new people into my life very easily. I adapt to new routines easily. Change is not scary for me the way it is for others.

My older brother has venus in aquarius he is a kind and generous person. But can be seen as cold and aloof to people who are not in his inner circle. But even to them people he is kind.

In my view, sexuality is governed by Mars/Venus,their house placements as well as the houses they rule.

As an example, I have a Venus in Aquarius friend and his Venus is in the 2nd house in his chart.

So he views love as stability, consistency, security and sensuality with his partners. That is also the nature of his ideals(Venus rules the 11th house cusp).

In addition of-course to intellectual banter and intelligence(Venus Aquarius),he wants to enjoy all the physical pleasures of life with the one he loves

How he goes about getting that which he wants,is represented by Mars.

Mars is in the 3rd house. So he goes after his partners by showing wit, charm conversational ability and dexterity.

I think this in addition to intellectual stimulation(Aquarius Mars),is also what turns him on -from a primal point of view.

Mars also rules the 5th house cusp:He is very creative and can draw really well.

The Moon represents whom his partners eventually become.

Because the Moon is so deeply ingrained in our responses. It often is projected even without our conscious thinking.

So our partner,if they are to last with us, needs to adapt to the nuances and demands of the Moon sign.

We may consciously go after what we want (Mars),be very verbal about the kind of love we want(Venus). But the Moon is really what we get-because that is how we behave in relationships. It is the chronic state of mind/feelings that we have day in/day out.

And if the partner is unable to fulfill the needs of our Moon sign(especially as men),there tends to be serious problems on the domestic front.

His Moon sign is also the ruler of the 7th house(double emphasis). It aspects Uranus by square, conjuncts Mars.

So we have Mars/Uranus interacting with the Moon, which is not such great news for the stability, consistency and reliability that he wants(Venus in 2nd).

His last significant relationship was with Venus in Gemini/Leo Sun individual.

The ex did not like to be told what to do, was unreliable, rebellious towards him and as much excitement as he brought to him/ exposure to new things. He also brought a great deal of stress.

The relationship lacked intimacy, they were never alone because the ex always had friends over. And seemed to put those friends above him(Uranus attribute).

And to add the icing on the cake,he built his whole world around this person.

This often happens when the individual has the ruler of the 7th house as the Sun/Moon/Chart ruler, has Sun/Moon/Chart ruler in the 7th or has those 3 positions conjunct/square/opposite the 7th house ruler.

So when the relationship broke up- so did his "world". It was painful to watch.

The whole chart tells a story I tell ya. Because I definitely would not say my Venus in Aqua/Mars in Aqua buddy is "unfeeling".
