This transit wrecked me today. My job is basically all about communication which is something I'm very careful and precise about but not today. Everything I said was either said in the wrong way, the wrong time, or not said when it should have been said.

The blunders made today have consequences ranging personal disappointment to potential professional pains. I think I'll wait for the transit to pass before rectifying them since I can't imagine I'll make the right choices anyway.

I have a natal Mercury sextile Neptune. Does this make me more sensitive to harsh Mercury/Neptune transits to each other? One day Neptune will square my Mercury so I think I'll take a vacation during that long period.

s far as I know, and according to the observations I have been making over many years, your natal mercury sextile neptune should help with transiting mercury square neptune... You should feel it as a very mild influence, sometimes you don't feel it at all.

check the other aspects and see if there is any additional aspect that might have caused communication errors..

We've all had days like that Koho. And very often there does seem to be a devil of a transit/progression that happened that day.
Most likely people will understand that you had a bad day in which nothing seemed to go right despite your best efforts and forgive you for it.

I don't think that it matters what Mercury-Neptune aspect you have in your birth chart. These things can still happen. But the sextiles and trines are aspects that show smooth flow that gets too often taken for granted.

Just consider what improved listening skills you might develop or ask yourself if you were distracted by a nagging concern that had been unresolved that you may've drug to work with you.
