I have my Virgo moon conjunct my Leo mars and Saturn in my natal.
Please tell me I'm not doomed lol
Give me your experiences with Saturn conjuncting your personals and how have you channelled that energy in a positive way?
In my relationships I have sometimes felt an inability to express my truth....but I'm learning. Is this Saturn? I think honestly this depends on who I am with and whether our energies encourage this openness. I was with someone who had a very abrupt critical side and every time I had to confront him I would go numb.
I also have two parts of me at war. One wants to hold back and the other wants action NOW.
I'm interested in knowing how to positively express this Saturnian energy and how to not let it overpower me negatively, especially in relationships. I have always thought of myself as a very relational person. I love with all my heart and almost give too much to the other. I'm not cold or indifferent. I'm a great listener...but there is a part of me that hates feeling smothered and needs freedom too. Uranus on asc, 5th house ruler too.

Mars and Saturn conjunct Moon is a lifetime of learning internal balance, often by trial by fire alternating with suppression of what you feel/detachment. Hot and cold, stop and go. Find the internal balancing point in which you can be appropriately expressive and involved, yet do only just enough and save the rest of your precious energy and time for yourself, to maintain good personal habits, etc.

You have already expressed very well the two divergent energies of Mars and Saturn acting upon your internal self. So in your thoughts, start to visualize or otherwise feel out where they come together, where the cleavage is between their two principles within you. You might even visualize your inner self with Mars in one hand and Saturn in the other hand, equally weighted, balanced, putting one then the other into motion as appropriately needed.

Channeling Saturn positively means discovering for yourself what a constructive life means to you. If you stay stuck in the paternal archetype playing out in your relationship with your parent(s) and in your thoughts, then you'll miss out on your own potential. That means re-parenting yourself as you would have wanted.

I think you are off to a great start, so keep up the positivity about yourself. Whoever is with you will have to understand and be okay with this.

ah you described it perfectly Kannon. Stop and Go is the story of my life. It's no wonder I need things like meditation to keep me in somewhat of a 'balance'. I do know that once I make up my mind about something, nothing will stop me.. thank you mars (my father was very much the same). But when I get saturn stuck it tends to feel so difficult to budge and move. It's a constant battle, but one I am starting to get to know. I refuse to make it a negative in my life. The mind is all too powerful and if I let it do that then I'm done for..

i LOVE this! I will start doing just that. Walking along with my mars and saturn in each hand. But I need a third for my moon too. In a recent relationship I was in, he complained of my starts and stops and it made things very difficult. But the thing is, we were both like that too. We had double saturn conjunct his ascendant. ergh.

What sorts of aspects to my conjunction might work well for me or balance this energy out in a way? Someone's jupiter? lol And for someone to 'understand' this, would they need to have a similar pattern in their natal?

I have Venus/Saturn conjunct natally. Saturn also makes a trine/sextile aspect with Moon/Mercury respectively.

I think that Saturn tends to "stiffen" the individual concerned. I have seen this a lot.

Its either they are "stiff" in movements. Stiff in expression or just come across very sober, serious and for the most part "icy".

In the career sphere, this conjunction is amazing. As I also have Saturn ruling the 10 house, so the Venus aspect to it does help me get favoured by those in charge.

Since Venus also rules my 2nd and 7th house, I find that these two areas of my life are unfolding SLOWLY. I am super cautious in both.

The not so great side however,is that it does make me inhibited in expressing affections.

By "inhibited", I mean that I blush so easily and feel really shy when my BF holds hands with me publicly or tries to kiss me with people looking.

It also makes me latent in falling in love i.e I don't act on my feelings when they happen. I rationalize them a lot and say things like "let me wait and see", "don't set yourself up for a fall now" etc.

I think most of my friends would agree that I come across "serious". That's the physical manifestation of this aspect.

I'd say visualize the Moon at your solar plexus and connected in some way [violet light] to the other two through your hands.

No, you just need an understanding person who accepts you as you are. Insist on it!

And Jupiter synastry with your Moon is good, yes, but if you are in balance and accept yourself this type of thing has a way of showing up in synastry with another person you attract.

wow Aries23, that sounds very challenging. Is it frustrating for you when you have those thoughts and rationalize your feelings?? It sounds like you are very self aware so that's a blessing in itself to get around or learn to accept your saturn

thank you Kannon! What a beautiful image with the moon on my solar plexus. I will try that
I'm hoping that person will come along - jupiter or not I need to believe I deserve someone who accepts me just as I am. Working on it..

Yes. I have little choice in the matter.

aquaguy91,

As a meditation similar to what I suggested for EmGem, you could try something like this ...

Imagine that you are your own father figure (saturn), vital strong (sun), but a Higher Self looking down to you from a future heavens position (n.node). Imagine that you are having an energetic contact with your future perfectly realized soul self. No need to specify what that is. You might simply ask in a state of peace to see this in some form, but as a shining body of white light would work. Just envision those rays of wisdom coming into you and know that you can know what is best for you and can feel/hear what the future you would say as the perfect parent to you now.
