I am trying to understand aspects I'm looking at Sigmund Freud natal chart. I was looking at his moon in Gemini 14 degree which on astro says biquintiles his asc in 10 degree scorpio. I looked at my chart of signs that quincunx and it says Gemini with Scorpio if 150 degree apart. And the bi quintile is 144 degree apart but how do you calculate that? Also how do you prounce quincunx?IP: Logged |

Quincunx, pronounced inconjunct To calculate we've got to go old school (before computer calculations) Moon @ 14* Gemini 16* to get out of Gemini 30* Cancer 30* Leo 30* Virgo 30* Libra 10* Scorpio This equals 146 but we didn't take into account the minutes on the Moon and Asc. so it's probably 145 which is within a degree of exact for a minor aspect.
