I'm often writing and lecturing upon these subjects. That's my bag, baby.

As you mentioned creativity, as a creative professional, these themes tend to play out across our art. It's rather astounding when we meditate upon those themes and more deeply explore our own art. This is a current major direction for me, and I hope to be publishing a title on it soon (within the next year).

Man, I LOVE LOVE LOVE ass-teroids!

They get more and more amazing with each chart you do. Once you get into Name Asteroids, that opens up a whole new level of amazing.

Also, the myths like Sedna, Medusa, Echo, Narcissus, these are AMAZING.

They form the themes for current lives.

What a treasure trove

Not sure if I am interested teaching Travel. Atleast not right now. I stay away unless I really know something. Even though I have been asked to do professionally tarot reading by friends, I know I don't know enough or I am astrologer material.I leave that with experts.

I'm liking fixed stars. I don't think that they are talked about enough. I might begin my own study of them, who knows.
I often question the influence of asteroids and perhaps stars will be the same but they fascinate me.

Yup, they can help you to understand why some things in your life are the way they are and add whole new dimension to a chart and make it more specific! Sometimes you add an asteroid associated with something that deeply resonates with you and... BAM! Soon you find out it is touching something important.
In my case it is Dali. It makes tight conjunction with my Moon. I can remember that when I was 4 yers old, I saw a copy of Sleep at restaurant. I kept staring at it like spellbound... Surrealism is still my favorite artistic movement.
Another one is asteroid Albina. It is on my ASC and guess what? I have EXTREMELY white skin.

How can someone dislike asteroids? I will never understand that

The way you are with Dali, I was with Jung, whom I have conj my Sun. When I read him, I came home to myself.

chinese asteroids would be good too. i'm sure there's a good few of us on here with east asian ancestry that'd be interested. theres a lot on greek, roman, egyptian, etc but nothing on any asteroids based in chinese folklore or religions. the only one's I've come across is either tara or kuan or well, china :P

so that'd be interesting

Btw how wide can be orb for an asteroid in conjunction with Sun or Moon: 3 degrees? Maybe 4?

Conj with the Sun or Moon--3 is more ambient but I would go to 3, understanding the sense of the ambient quality.

Some astrologers will only use exact. That is how small the orb has to be.

I fudge it to 3 degrees but you need to look at the closest conjunctions first and then go from there imo

As far as my chart, when I had it done before I knew Astrology, she said I had the chart of a writer.

It is high air and high water.

A therapist would need this, too.

Put your chart up in Beginners and I will take a look, V!

Asteroids!!!!!

Particularly Psyche (16) 'cause it's conjunct my Ascendant.

And Draconic astrology! I was so happy to find out that my Leo Sun turns into a Scorpio Sun in Draconic Astrology. Plus natal Psyche conjuncts (not exactly but they are close) my Draco Scorpio Sun.

Welcome D

I don't know about Draconic.

I don't feel led to it but psyche is an amazing asteroid to have conj your ASC. You have soul and are a person of real depth.

Outer planet transits…Uranus, Neptune, Pluto…I see these as story arcs in our lives as they last so long.

First their transiting of houses. For example, Uranus is transiting my 8th house. Well, my parents aren’t getting any younger…sudden changes in death & inheritance. Will this become an issue for me? Will it be during a stress aspect between sun or moon and Uranus? Also what surprises are in store for me personally regarding the depths of my psyche or sexuality?

Another example…Neptune was transiting my 6th house…and it was a time of vaguely ill health and total job dissatisfaction…just not “feeling it”. Now that’s Neptune’s entered my 7th , will personal relationships…never a strong point of mine…be even more elusive, entail sacrifice, or be wonderfully other worldly?

Then there are the aspects. I mentioned in another thread, Pluto is now in my 5th house trine my natal Sun. Also Uranus is about to trine my natal Mars. These sorts of things.

I don't feel drawn to transits, M. With my Cancer Moon, I would obsess about the bad ones, so I just don't pay attention

HI Fellow Cancer Moon

I feel kind on embarrassed how I don't watch transits. I think it is because I will feel locked in my them, like if there is a bad one, I won't want to get out of bed
