Hi everyone! Does anyone know what sorts of transits, solar arcs, and progressions might indicate someone's career finally taking off the ground? I graduated about four months ago from my Masters program. Applying for jobs has honestly become my full-time job. Sadly though, I never get any calls back and I'm not sure what to do anymore. I'm becoming increasingly unhappy cooped up in my house, living with my dad, and being so broke and tight on money. If anyone can offer some guidance, or help put a smile on my face, I would greatly appreciate it =( IP: Logged |

PS: Here are some of the transits I currently have/will be soon having.saturn sextile saturn (fading 1.5 degrees) chiron conjunct MC (forming 3.2 degrees) saturn trine jupiter (forming 0.6 degrees) I'll have jupiter opposition MC starting at the end of November. By solar arc, I have MC=Neptune (forming 1.0 degree). I also have venus=MC (fading 0.6 degrees) . . . but from what I know, venus=MC indicates falling in love, and doesn't have much to do with careers. IP: Logged |

Which ones are your natal planets? Chiron on MC sounds heavy enough in terms of starting off a career. You recently had saturn return too it seems? Tough times indeed. Where is your saturn? What is your 10H ruler? Is it getting any hard aspects??

Where is Jupiter transiting? tJupiter in 10th is good.Don't do what everyone does OP. Most people out there are doing the same thing as you and employers are flooded with cv that is chucked away in a bin straight away. It's about who you know. Also trust in your ability to bump into the right opportunity. Think outside of the box as well. Contact employers who are not advertising. You'll never know, a post might have come up on that day before they advertise. IP: Logged |

My MC is in Pisces, meaning Neptune is my 10th house ruler. Natally I have the sun, moon, and mercury in the 10th house.Jupiter is transiting my 2nd house. I think the only good thing about this placement is that Jupiter is preventing me from falling into unreasonable debt. I have transiting Uranus square natal Neptune (forming 0.2 degrees) . . . and also have transiting Pluto conjunct Neptune (forming 1.2 degrees). I also have Chiron conjunct Moon (forming 5.0 degrees) - which might be significant considering my Moon is in my 10th house, and I also have Chiron on my MC. The heavy Chiron scares me though. I'm not sure if it means I'll be experiencing some painful realizations around my career and public life . . or if it indicates getting involved in the helping professions. And thanks for some of the suggestions guys! I know that a lot depends on WHO you know . .. but unfortunately I don't know many people! And the people I do know don't seem to be helping me that much . . or it isn't in their power to help me. IP: Logged |

Neptune rules music, art, spirituality, psychic stuff, religion, drugs, alcohol, poetry, photography, film to name a few. Having Pisces MC may be confusing but you have the help of Sun, Moon and Mercury there which is fantastic! Are you artistic? See which house Neptune sits in. If it's in 4th, you'll be working from home. I've seen very successful people have Chiron in 10th H. IP: Logged |

Well that's fantastic! As for writing, there are many area you could write about.....relationships? It's so easy to publish your own book nowadays and together with vlog/blog/social media, you can acquire and control your own fan base! Good luck!IP: Logged |

Good advice coming from Vajra. Have a look at your pSun. Is it about to change sign? If so, there will be change.I am guessing she's having Saturn in her 6th H which would explain, difficulties in finding 'ordinary job' rather than career. IP: Logged |

I recommend speaking with your former professors and classmates about job openings. Everyone here is correct in saying that many job openings are not advertised. Getting a job is about who you know, not what you know. Hopefully, you did some networking during your time in grad school. This is where the networking will eventually pay off. What did you earn your Master's in? If it's an MBA, most companies won't consider you unless you've actually had some management experience or if you have some amazon connections. Good luck! I know job hunting is the worst. Just keep at it!
