Women tend to use makeup to look themself look attractive, confident and pretty. But some women don't like it. Some men don't like women with makeup.I wonder what placements in natal make a native like makeup or like natual looks. IP: Logged |

I love both looks, but the natural look is the one I'm most fond of because it's REAL.I only love wearing make-up because I have a mild case of Hirsutism which causes some darkening under my chin. Anyway, I blame my Taurus Ascendant for the all natural. I blame my afflicted Libra Moon in the 5th for being so superficial (make-up). IP: Logged |

Thanks. I love natural looks, I had makeup only once for photos. I don't know how to make up. Even sometimes I want to learn it. But I am too lazy and not patient to spend much time on those things. Virgo Sun/Venus/ASC/NN conjunct 1st house, but Saturn places there too, but not conjunct. IP: Logged |

One male with Taurus ASC doesn't like women with make up. He has Jupiter in 1st house. Maybe Saggitarius people like natural looks more.

I wear makeup to look closer to mY own age without it I look like I am in H.S. But I do prefer a natural makeup look or only emphasize one feature at a time. Example If I am going to wear a bold lip color, keep everything else toned down on my face.Taurus asc IP: Logged |

I'd say Earth placements. I dated a Virgo and he didn't necessarily hate that I wore makeup but preferred when I was natural.And can I just add that women don't just wear makeup to fraud people into that they're more pretty or more confident than they are. I know I personally love makeup because it's fun, it's fun to play around with and enhance my features further whether it's with mascara or eyeliner, bronzer or lipstick. Women have done so for thousands of years. It's not about looking superficial for many women although some aim for that look. IP: Logged |

I have noticed people with earth venuses likes naturalness. The men tend to be attracted to women with a more natural look while the women likes to be natural or they can put on make up that looks as natural as possible. IP: Logged |

I'm heavy earth and i love makeup but the look at the end is more of an accentuation of what i have and covering up the lack of sleep rather than ex. heavy contour, racoon eyes ect..
so yeah more natural looking fresh makeup rather than anything obvious. i try to use as little as i can get away with IP: Logged |

Sag asc!I don't like wearing makeup and I want to look pretty without ANY makeup on! I had cystic acne for the past 15-16 years and have scars as a result but I don't care!! I want to feel happy with the look I was born with  IP: Logged |

I have no clue from an astrological standpoint, why I am not a full-on fan of makeup. Hopefully soon, there may be a correlation from person to person what some aspects are. Or maybe something I say below makes sense! Barbiegirl19 mentioned Earth placements. I am a Capricorn Venus - with Jupiter/Neptune also Cap in the 1st House. I will only wear a lip rouge or lip gloss. IF, I were to get dolled up I would strongly prefer the most natural look possible. But I have NO interest at all to shop for the stuff or attempt to get involved with learning how to apply the stuff lol Maybe, my Capricorn Venus squaring my Aries Moon factors. I am a tomboy at heart. I've never had the "patience" to sit still and enhance my beauty. I don't "feel" like making the time or effort to doll-up. I am a, lipstick, hat on (if need be) lace my sneakers and roll out kind of woman. But again, I am a fan of natural looking make up on women. Many apply it so beautifully. IP: Logged |

I'm a Virgo venus and sometimes I like to wear makeup. Before, I wore it because don't feel like my face is "perfect" enough, so I wear it. Must be that obsessive square from Pluto, though. But lately, I haven't been wearing makeup because I am training myself to be more comfortable in my own skin. It's working so far and I like it. I've only worn makeup on occasion for the past two months. I also only wear it now as a form of artistic expression.I also agree with earth signs being more in love with natural looks than any other sign. My ex-boyfriend was an Aries with Taurus venus and Virgo mars. He "fell in love" with me when we met at a private school where girls weren't allowed to wear makeup. He always said I was beautiful even though I did not agree with him. Another dude who liked me was a Sag with Cap venus and mars. He was used to seeing me with mascara and eyeliner that he was shocked that one I day I came to school bare-faced. He said I looked beautiful, too. Still didn't agree with him lol. IP: Logged |

I think it can go either way. Virgo Venus can either become obsessed with their looks, trying to get them "just right", or be very low-maintenance in this routine. The latter is more often the case. The fact that she has Venus rising makes her more prone to fall into the former category. In the end, I think Virgo Venus feels much better when they're all-natural. I have this Venus and am not a woman. But, I've realized how much I've grown to hate cologne, for example. I much prefer my natural smell, so all I need is soap and deodorant. So, I can imagine many women with this placement feeling more "organic" by wearing very minimal makeup and keeping it down to the basics. ------------------

Actually her Venus falls on her 12H, loosely conjunct her ASC.
I guess I could blame the love for makeup on her Leo Sun.
But some stuff I totally blame on her Virgo Venus, like the absolute repulsion for body hair. IP: Logged |

I have cap sun/venus/asc, aries moon and I like makeup and love browsing through makeup counters. Putting it on is quite therapeutic, but I hate the process of removing it. That's why on a daily basis I only wear bright lip colours. A swipe of ellis faas L202 does wonders for my mood. Lots of people seem to like my bare face better though. My husband is a virgo moon/venus/mars and libra sun. He loves colognes and like watching me going through my makeup routine lol. IP: Logged |

Aries Venus, both men and women are really hung up on this natural look business... for reasons that I will never understand or try to lol
It wouldn't actually bother me if they didn't take it upon themselves to lecture others with their "natural look" philosophy in life :/

I think the issue here is subtlety.When a woman wears makeup and none notices that they are. That's cool. Too much makeup is like botox/plastic surgery: Once people "notice" it, they start to treat you differently. Like you are "fake" or something. Because make-up is made to "enahnce", it's exaggerated application is associated with someone who is "hiding' their true selves behind a facade. Or someone who is "plastic" or superficial etc. Once people become aware of that 'facade' that they assume you are hiding behind your make-up, some make it a point to demoralize the individual for 'hiding'. Judging them as "fake" etc. People who love wearing makeup IME are Venus in Leo/Venus in Cancer,Venus in Gemini,Venus in Libra some Venus in Pisces and Venus Taurus/Virgo women often have a love/hate relationship with it. The Virgo women love that it hides their "imperfections", whilst Taurus women love to look glamorous in any case on one hand But these same women can also be such puritanical people-that they judge themselves for relying on it.(Especially Virgo). Or perhaps seeming to "reject" their true selves etc. Quite a dilemma I don't like make-up on my sisters and often encourage them to rely on it less.But they are free to do as they please. I have Venus in Scorpio and so I tend to want to look at things from a more than just 'skin deep' level.

I agree with you. I really hate makeup to be frank even I know it can make me better with good makeup. But I feel I am wearing a mask if I have makeup. I want to look natural.
However, one gf who also has Virgo Venus, she likes makeup. She thinks it makes her look better, she hates others to say her chloasma and freckles.... IP: Logged |
