Hey, So I have been looking into solar return charts and decided to try a method mentioned on http://darkstarastrology.com/solar-return-charts-interpretation/ and I found so most of the Solar Return years I looked up changing the house placement made significantly more sense than the solar return house placement on my normal solar return. For example in 2008 Solar Return I inherited a large sum of money and began University in my normal Solar Return there were no planets in my 2nd( 2nd house for one's personal assets) or 8th (8th house for one's personal assets accumulated through partnership, marriage, or gained through other people. Now of course the aspects don't really change but the angles and houses do. In my precessed solar return chart: Jupiter conjunct Moon in 2nd and Venus Sun, Mercury and Vertex in 8th. Mars conjunct Saturn in 9th (higher Education)The year I got my first boyfriend in Precessed SR Chart: Jupiter in 7th conjunct Part Fortune Vertex in 7th Sun in 5th If you precessed your solar return chart have you noticed any difference that make more sense then your normal solar return chart?

The year I moved from my childhood home to a larger place and finances improved. Precessed Solar return Venus in the 4th i.e. improvement in living conditions. Sun/Mercury/Jupiter/Mars in 2nd Sun/Mercury/Jupiter conjunction. Uranus in 9th - Unexpected travel and moving didn't know until the last minute.IP: Logged |

You would go to the solar return year of your choosing but set the zodiac to sidereal fagan/bradley. Then write down the time and location of your Solar return for the sidereal solar return. Go back create a new chart with the time and date logged from your sidereal chart with the year you are looking up I.e. if its for this year put 2015.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the instruction ail221. I've never tried this one. So this new chart being a kind of recreated Solar return chart, it would be effective from your birthday till the following birthday OR only in year 2015?IP: Logged |

OK, I've looked at two years. One was when I met someone and started a relationship. Normal Solar Return chart had Sun-Venus conjunction anyway in 5th. The new chart moved this conjunction to 6th H. It doesn't make sense to me. The other one was when I met someone unexpectedly which had Sun-Uranus in 7th which makes sense. This chart seems to be as mysterious as the normal solar return chart???IP: Logged |

I'll still testing this out but I believe just for that year. I'am going to look at a few other charts and see how they work out. IP: Logged |

Looking at a close friend's Solar Return compared to her Precessed SR. Her birthday hasn't arrived yet so she SR would still be active, 2 months ago she announced her engagement. In her regular SR chart for 2014 No 7th house activity wide angle activity. Vertex in 5th On her precessed SR Chart 7TH house stellium (Sun/Jupiter/Mercury), 3rd quadrant emphasis, Mercury on the DSC, Uranus on IC, Mars on MC and Venus in 5th IP: Logged |

I always precess my SR charts. Having said that, I think that looking at non-precessed charts can give you an interesting idea of the whole picture, sort of like finding the patterns that stick out in both. But if I had to choose one, I would definitely precess. For example, in my non-precessed chart of 2011 it did not clearly show (at least to me) the eventual end of my relationship whereas the precessed chart was much more obvious (Moon was conjunct Lilith - partile - and opposite Saturn, also partile. Way more obvious than the non-precessed imo. IP: Logged |

I think solar return works in year not in following birthday... Ive always felt in every year the change and direction of the year in january... IP: Logged |
