Scorpios are known to be one of the most powerful signs of the Zodiac.

However, according to Linda Goodman's Sun Signs--Pisces is actually the more powerful one in the Scorpio-Pisces pairing....simply because they can swim away unnoticed..

Anyone else agree?

I feel like Scorpio is more powerful in the literal sense - they're more up front direct, fierce, fiery, etc. Pisces, unless conj. with mars or some other strong placemnt, doesn't feel like it has much of that 'omph' energy to them - but they are indeed strong in their own sense! The fact that they can slip away, I don't see how that makes them powerful? I've seen the raft of a Scorpio since I'm very close to one, and I've also seen the raft of a Mars conj. Sun conj. Saturn Pieces - I'd run from that one, and stick with the Scorpio any day

I think what they are saying is the emotional capability of a pisces to let go easily gives them the upper hand with a scorpio. Scorpio gets so obsessed, wants total control and can't let go once they have allowed themselves to get attached.
In the end pisces will win because they can slip away leaving scorpio going bonkers trying to regain control over pisces and pisces hasn't thought any where near as much about it and already started to moved on.

Ohhhh, in that sense, I totally see how Pieces has the upper hand!

I'll be Pisces soon.
My Asc is on the last leg of Aquarius.

Hmm, that saddens me actually--that it could be so easy for Pisces. I've always heard Pisces is the best match for a Scorpio--but with a House 2 stellium--the thought of someone I value leaving is too scary.

Ironically, this question came about after a recent encounter with a Pisces, who got very sensitive (almost angry and childlike) because I rejected him...and it got me researching the Scorpio-Pisces pairing...because quite honestly I still "feel" him...like there is some sort of current.

I did see we have NN conjunct Venus (I being Venus)..but it's a 3 orb. Maybe that's why or maybe it's a Scorpio/Pisces thing...

The fight we had is literally haunting me!

It may be that Scorpio has the tendency to

take Pisces for granted, assuming they will

always be there because they always have in

the past.

The boundaries are porous, yes.. but they aren't

non-existent.

It's still a good pairing.

There's relief in Pisces energy, like no other.

But that's just my experience.

The Pisces cares less, is more easygoing, and while they love deeply, they can and know they can move on easily and they seem to always know that love comes again, even when they are madly in love with someone at the moment. And in these two couples I've seen this fact drives the Scorpio crazy trying to possess the slippery fish. The Pisces is like well I love you right now and I love you deeply isn't that what matters.

But in both scenarios the Pisces left the Scorpio in the end. One left for a Leo woman.... He left his wife and kid behind... In another state! The other one I have no idea what really happened I think the Scorpio hurt her too much by trying to control her and she decided she was happier being single. When Pisces makes a decision to leave, they are very strong indeed. But the Scorpio accused her of leaving him for another man... When really I think it's just Pisces moves on that fast!

HAhaha Guilty!

Yes, I left my Scorpio man first
Yes, he was surprised that I let him go without any resistance
Yes, I am stubborn when I make up my mind to leave (but of course I've given a lot of thoughts before making such decision... I don't like to break anyone's heart!)
Yes, I did move on fast... But I didn't get emotionally attached to the next boy....yet. Lol! Just being casual!

If my man asks me back (with a very strong promise of not breaking up again) then I will consider taking him back tho!

All I really care and absolutely want is that the MAN is able to love ME. I know I'm capable of loving my man fully and unconditionally so all I need to make sure is that HE can!

Find a pisces with a fixed Moon, Venus or Mars or in Earth signs....with the right placements it can help a pisces feel the need to set up permanent camp and stubbornly not budge from their comfy home. Only thing you have to watch out for then is their tendency to be passive aggressive when they feel trapped because you are not treating them as they feel they deserve to be treated, they might do things that are worse and make you prefer they had just left.

My high school sweetheart, a Pisces, was the one to make the final break up and stick to it after about a dozen or two break ups. I was the Scorpio

Wasn't into astrology during those years but geez does it explain the hell during those years.

Cap Mars square Aries Mars
Cancer Moon square Aries Mars
Cancer Moon opposite Capricorn Moon
Aqua Mercury square Scorpio Mercury
Aries Venus opposite Libra Venus

But my Capricorn Moon was probably in her 7th or 8th house and Her Mars was in my 8th and even that little bit of Pluto stuff made that relationship go on from the age of 14 to 21 and one year of shenanigans. Lotta Pluto aspects as well but I share them with anyone from that generation.

Those years were so exhausting I swore off longterm relationships ever since. 5-6 years later I still stick to casual relationships

So how powerful would a Pisces be if they had an ASC Scorpio?

I have seen it go the other way around that pisces influenced people esp in venus can hold on to a relationship/person way longer then what they should bc of some unrealistic hope or faith they have for that person.

My son is a pisces Sun, scorp AC, taurus Moon

He gets his heart broken, it appears he gets over it fairly quickly...no crying or hating the person, he just walks away shaking his head.
But then years later he will mention it again and still has a lot of intensity about it...it's then I realize he doesn't actually get over anything he just appears to move on easily, he carries that battle scar with him forever and does not forget it or the person whom he never likes again. He does not obsess or act scorpio like when it's time to move on, he just walks away...but deep inside he always remembers.
