What would make a sagittarius moon have a drinking problem.

What house would the planets hit, if I have a Sagittarius moon, Uranus in Sagittarius, Saturn in Sagittarius.

Usually Sagittarius placements have a tendency on drinking. I know 3 persons that had that problem. All of them had a mix of Scorpio and Sagittarius.

1) Scorpio AC, Libra Moon, Sagittarius Sun in the 2nd house
2) Scorpio AC, Gemini Moon, Capricorn Sun in the 2nd house, Saturn-Mercury-Uranus-Venus in Sagittarius
3) unknown AC, Scorpio Moon, Sagittarius Sun

Aspects are very important too. Do you see something weird in your chart?

Depression, maybe tr. saggy Saturn with tr. pisces Neptune squaring the persons saggy Moon.
If one of these transits is hitting your 12th house or 12th house ruler in a harsh way....this could bring up unsettling subconscious issues that are hard to identify.
Tr. Chiron could also be an issue for a saggy Moon, Tr. Chiron is in pisces right now.

sag moon has a need to escape and experiment. Many can go through periods of being promiscuous.

He has a Gemini Stellum and Mutable stellium in his chart, 8 planets in Mutable signs.

3 in Gemini, 3 in Sagittarius and 2 in Pisces (Mars and NN)

I also had another ex who was a Sagittarius moon who was an alcoholic as well. I've lost touch with him so I don't know if he cleaned up at all.

Can we really say that about Sag Moons? I'd say that a lot of people in my extended family have issues with alcohol, but if I look at 2 with Sag Moons, my mom was a wino for many years, and my sister never drinks. So what really are the odds? Is there even a correlation let alone a causation? Speaking of winos, I have a cousin (Sag Sun) who loves her vino. It's like, oh sweetie, your teeth are purple.

Saggi Moon can't bear to feel trapped.
It can kill their enthusiasm for life if it goes on too long.
I know because I'm one, eg felt trapped for a long time in a small town, no social life, no car. I slipped into a habit of drinking nearly every night just to get a temporary relief from the depression..and of course escaping mundane reality via internet..

My Sag husband can't drink. It makes him angry. I've read this about Sags before so you're onto something

None of the Sagittarius SUN people I know drink at all, including myself. It's a disgusting concoction, and I don't know how people can consume such tripe.

NEPTUNE is more associated with alcohol, drugs, and other mind-altering substances. I'd look to its placement by house and aspect.

I'm a saggy sun and I drink maybe 3 times a year. I've never bought alcohol for my home and my kids would tell you I've never drank at all.

None of the Sag people I know drink either. For example, I have a Sun Sag sister and dad, and neither one of them are really into drinking. No history of alcohol abuse as well.

I think Sag could be an indicator, but harsh Neptune aspects should be explored as well.

Good one! What if the person has a tight Sun-Neptune conjunction? This might be the case...

My Neptune is conjunct my Sun...not tight 6 degrees.
I have had times I drank a lot but I don't like it, and don't do it often. It's been years.

I have a person with quite the same problem and he has the tightest conjunction ever. He was drinking a lot some years ago, doesn't do it often nowdays and hates it when he doesn't have self discipline. It's a hard connection in my opinion.

Harsh aspects to Neptune or Moon need to be involved in this case for it to become a pattren.
I have an entire Stellium in Sag, never drank, dont drink and mostly never will. I prefer to remain in control of my senses.

Would the conjunction be if the Sun is in Gemini and the Neptune is in Capricorn

While I'm aware at least a few alcoholics are Sag (such as my dad but I don't know the specifics of his chart and he and his family would probably freak if I asked) this thread just makes me think of this boy who I think of as a Sag sun (but not a moon and who gets a lesson all Sags generally have to get on choosing one's words more carefully):

I wouldn't call myself an alcoholic, but I do this. I don't get drunk, but when I've had a rough day, the first thing I reach for is a can or beer or a bottle of wine - just a glass to take the edge off, not enough to get wasted

My only Moon aspects are an in conjunct to Jupiter (Cancer) and a square to Venus (Pisces). My moon is in the 3rd House.

Sun -> Aries
Moon -> Sagittarius
Ascendant -> Virgo
