I pulled this info from DK foundation: I don't know if it's right."A transit of Venus to the 10th House usually indicates a time of lucky breaks in the career. It tends to be a time when a person receives favorable feedback about his achievements, which in turn makes him more ambitious for himself and more receptive to opportunities. The breaks, which occur if H10 is tenanted, are likely to represent major advances. The year in which Venus holds the M.C usually marks a high spot in a person's career - and frequently his life - as it tends to indicate that he is engaged in something to which he is able to give his commitment." **************************** I don't know how Venus can HOLD the M.C by transit..... Can someone explain this? IP: Logged |

Hmmm, I actually have no idea either. Do they mean conjunct? But, if they do, that's not exactly special because transiting Venus conjuncts everyone's Midheaven just about every year. I'm not the biggest fan of DK Foundation, anyway...But, yes, I would not only look out for transits to your Midheaven but transits to your North Node; conjunctions, in particular. Many people don't realize it but the North Node is just as responsible for success as the Midheaven. It places us right on the path that we need to be and pursuing the purpose that we're supposed to. Career advancement, in particular, would be more so transits to the Midheaven. But, I would say that big shifts or awakenings in life direction, in general, could come from having a transiting planet conjunct or trine your North Node. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Would that be by transit or Progression? IP: Logged |

Earlier this month I started up a business venture, working one day a week in a coastal town. Basically branching out from what I normally do and so far it has been very successful. Around the time I opened I had transit venus conjunct mc (I put adverts out and have had a great response) and also I have transit saturn trine ascendant, Jupiter in the 1st house and what I think noteworthy for me is transit north node conjunct pluto in the 2nd house (going back and forth). IQ wrote once on someone else's post way back on transit NN conjunct pluto in 2nd "More cash flow coming in from doing things that professionally feel good to you" this is spot on. IP: Logged |

Agree about Jupiter. Jupiter just passed through my 10th and it was noticeable. Except Saturn was there. Hard lesson.... But I think it may have rewards coming. Now we'll see what happens when it hits my nn in a couple years. IP: Logged |

I agree on tPluto but I can't personally vouch for it yettPluto is doing major work in my 9th house and I'm patiently waiting for it to enter my 10th and transform the hell out of it like it did to my 9th. (I went from atheist, to agnostic, to practicing astrology, numerology, zi wei dou shu, i ching, tarot, and the list goes on and on) If tPluto did all that in my 9th I can't imagine what's coming. Literally, I can't. But tPluto hasn't been only a spiritual transformation in my 9th it has also invigorated my learning into new subjects. IP: Logged |

The day I had a totally sudden change of position for the better I had the following: Tr.North Node exactly conjunct MC Tr.Sun and Mars trine MC Tr.Saturn trine MC Tr.Moon in my 10th house All these formed a Grand Trine to my MC and also my natal Sun(I have natal Sun trine MC). I also had a Grand trine forming with Tr.Neptune and Tr.Venus to my moon, but I don't think it's relevant. I couldn't believe my luck that day cause it was a position I wanted from the start,as well as everyone in my company, not because it was more advanced, but it was a lot less stressful than the one I was before.IP: Logged |

Wow,I just noticed this as well. The Tr.Moon was conjunct my North Node in my 10th,Tr.Mercury and Tr.Jupiter trine my North Node,so another Grand trine. So 3 Transiting grand trines all aspecting my planets. No wonder I got so lucky. Now if only I could have similar transits to my Venus just to see what would happen! IP: Logged |

tpluto has been in my 6th house for the past few years, coming conjunct my 6th house NN at least a year ago and now is trining my natal Pluto 2nd house. I lost my stage acting job of 20yrs two years ago, moved into the folks house, then tried to move to LA to pursue a career in TV/Film - left that after 9months and moved back into my folks house again. However in those two years I wrote the story of my life as an actress and made it into a TV pilot and now just finished it as a musical. I am have a reading of it this week in NYC. I haven't had a job in two years but I am hoping this show will get picked up and I can make money off of it. #fingerscrossed.
