So Mars take a little less than 2 years to orbit the Sun, and within this period it will make an opposition and conjunction with your natal Pluto. For me, tMars is currently sitting opposite nPluto, and I've been led (both by external signs, and by internal pressure) to focus on examining my unconscious patterns, and I've had a couple of, to put it mildly, eye-opening days. When I noticed this transit today when checking my chart, I had a quick look at the past 6 years and noticed that each time tMars was in opposition or conjunction with my nPluto, I was undergoing a period of internal turmoil or reflection, which every single time led to some kind of closure, or beginning, and then inevitably to a period of freedom, happiness and inspiration. I'm wondering whether these regular 'visits' by Mars are triggering a release of subconscious pressure or energy. What is your experience with tMars to natal Pluto? And, I appreciate we need to consider the whole chart so I'm not ruling out the influence of other placements. To use me as an example, my natal Pluto is in a t-square with Venus, AC and Moon, so any transit to Pluto touches these 3 too, and I might be misreading what Mars is doing there. The only reason I'm focusing on Pluto, is the pattern I notice: with each opposition/conjunction which Mars makes to it, there is an 'uncovering' of thoughts, emotions and parts of reality, which until then were not conscious, and the whole process results in some kind of transformation. This looks like Pluto's territory to me. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and learning about your own personal experiences! IP: Logged |

I mostly remember this aspect for bringing intense arguments...most of which I lose. Often going up against impossible people who won't budge.IP: Logged |

The last time tMars was conjunct my Pluto, I was working in a hostile environment with two women. One of them resented me because I had more hours than she did and wouldn't talk to me. She was also stealing things, but it couldn't be proven. The other one, according to her own mother, had anger problems. But, there was no way to work things out with her because according to her mom, her daughter didn't communicate. Her mom was our boss and she told me if it came down to a choice between me and her daughter, guess who'd be let go. When tMars went over nPluto, it came to a head and I was let go soon after.I took this as an opportunity to work on myself. I thought maybe these women are showing me an unconscious part of myself. tPluto was opposing nMoon at the same time. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it was the push I needed to get me into the work I'm supposed to be doing. For months afterwards, I thanked the mom every time I passed her place of business. IP: Logged |

Interesting, thank you Nine! Looks like a classic manifestation of power dynamics (Pluto) reaching a culmination point through an argument (Mars) - have you experienced any changes in your own attitudes and approach after these arguments, especially since the other people wouldn't budge? Thank you for sharing this, peony! I remember you mentioning it briefly in the Uranus Retrograde thread, and now that you shared more details, it does seem strongly connected to Pluto as well. It reminded me of this great article about how Pluto's 'support' manifests, by presenting us with seemingly unfair circumstances, in order to lead us to a better reality. Your positive and wise approach to this unfair turn of events is very inspiring, and shows that Pluto rewards us when we respond with introspection and self-improvement instead of blaming and fighting others Meeting the Pluto Archetype IP: Logged |
