So i'm wondering, i'm sure all of us look up our crushes, our signifiant others, friends etc and what signs or placements is most compatible with ours and i'm wondering:ever thought of doing the chart backwards? so ex. your perfect partner: you write down all the placements or planets in what sign that you prefer and then work backwards to find out when he/she would be born. is that possible? i know some like pluto is a generational thing but can you use the orbits etc to work backwards? even down to the hour? and how to go about it? i'm curious myself to see if i can find out the birthday of my 'perfect man' if i so choose to "design" one lol. who wants to try with me!? Believe it or not, last time I was single, I actually kinda did that. First I reflected on all my past relationships, on what had worked and what not so much, and on my own needs and wishes, and then, made a list of the astro placements someone perfect for me would likely need to have (only personal planets, not generational, though, and sometimes I allowed two different possibilities). I added a long list of other characteristics the person would need to have apart from these astro placements, and also wrote down the first name I would like best. Then I made a little ritual to the effect "I want this or I want nothing", and afterwards decided to forget about the whole thing because I was certain I would now remain single lol. About 6 weeks later, a guy walked into my office on a business issue, and we fell in love in a matter of days (or maybe, hours), and were together after a few weeks. Only then I learned his birth data, and as it turned out, he had all those placements I'd written down on that list. Not making this up! He also had that first name, but it's fairly common around here so the chances were not totally bad for that to happen. Still, the universe is sometimes so funny…but what was this? A coincidence? Or a premonition on my part, sensing him coming from afar? Or did I somehow "summon" him to come…? (I do have Hekate conj. MC, after all, so I might be able to! j/k) No idea really - I think of it as "remembering the future" which I sometimes seem to do. But when I told him later what I'd done with that list right before we met, he replied: "You were finally ready for me, and so I came." Oh, there's yet another funny coincidence: If my birthday, written as day/month, is x/y, then his, written as dd/mm/yy, is xy/xx/yy, or my day-month/day-day/month-month. Weird! IP: Logged |

i just went to write down which planets in which signs i want or think ill be most comparable with in my chart and straight up it's pretty much me :P i think just ideally id like someone pretty much like me but with more .. gung ho? like more drive or more discipline than i do, and more i guess fire in him in the whole 'go getter' towards his career sense. so maybe mars in aries or something. i don't know. i don't really get on with predominate fire people. but i'm too impatient for mars in earth signs i think. although my ex had a mars in leo and his moon in taurus just drowned the cat out. his leo mars is pretty much non existent. and of course extroverted and good conversationalist for ascendant and maybe sun. but just so capricorn. lol i get on with my own the best. so mostly saturnian followed up with pluto.. like me haha.. my ex was nearly perfect but i think because he had his moon in taurus he wasn't as driven or as gung ho towards his future and for ambition as i would like it.. i'm a capricorn stellium with that impatient gemini ascd and his low and slow approach whether he wanted it or not towards his career drove me mad. and yet i loved how flexible and easy going he could be especially with me. i'm wondering if i posted up my chart if anyone would be up for helping me figure out what my ideal partner's chart would look like? so what i have so far:Ascendant - either: leo in either 2 or 3rd decan gemini in 1 decan scorpio? Sun: Capricorn - ideally and early cap like me in the 8th house Moon: Capricorn in the 8th as well Mercury: in the 9th or 10th house cancer, capricorn, gemini? Venus: Scorpio Mars: Virgo in either 1,6,7,or 10H maybe aries or leo? but i'm so scared of that flaky fire don't-think-ahead-just-does-it thing they have. i like the drive but needs forethought. that's the good thing about the virgo. i'm mars in virgo and i have a backup plan for the backup plans and i love that bit of myself. Pluto in the 1st house Chiron virgo that's all i got. i'm not really keen on cancers but i don't want someone that's colder than i am. got to be able to warm me up a bit. i think in the end i just want some just like me but with the differences that i wish i myself had. if that makes sense. don't know, really like that leo ascendant. i like my men big, loud, tall (like 6'2 <-- YES) brawny, the man's man, centre of attention, popular lol but still capricorn.. and my ex was a scorpio and damn that was hot. i'm so lusty towards scorpionic energy. the intensity is just amazing. and i like that the scorpios i know are very private. a guy that can't keep his mouth shut is higher on my list of deal breakers than a murderer. no joke my ex had a mercury in cancer and our relationship was extremely healing for me but i think it didn't help him with his studies or career. that and his taurus placements. just slowed him down and made him sensitive when i would do better than him or pick something up quicker than he did. but he was excellent in taking care of me emotionally and even daily. very affectionate too. just worried that ill manifest a man that either isn't emotionally available or enough cuddly/affectionate towards me (because i'm so tacile i like a guy who will always want a hand on me or something) or is just too passive with what he wants. cause i want to be a power couple. any thoughts or suggestions? should i look at lilith? me: gemini ascd sun, moon, mercury - capricorn venus scorpio mars virgo jupiter sagittarius saturns pisces uranus, neptune capricorn pluto scorpio chiron virgo IP: Logged |

Glad you guys liked my story! It was one of those things that make you question your sanity, but as of now, a few years later, it has still not lost its magic. But, keep in mind I was 36 and divorced when this happened, and before this, there were some really trying times relationship-wise which made me want to stay single rather than put up with a toxic relationship ever again, and I did a lot of healing and soul-searching for a few years all alone after that, which maybe helped bring this along because before I might not even have been able to appreciate it.Thanks, YellowGerbera, for explaining the number thing, that's what I meant. THAT was not on my wish list btw, it was a little bonus gift! @confusedaseff: Not bad for starters, but I'd say, try to make your list as realistic as possible. For instance, if you want a Cappy Sun, then the only Mercury placement possibilities are Sag, Cappy and Aqua, and the only Venus placements are Scorp through Pisces. If you want Pluto in H1, maybe think again because with Gemini AC, your 1st House Pluto lover would be really old or already dead by now, while with Leo AC the chances would be a little better because it could be a Virgo Pluto (born in the 1960s). However, maybe that's still older than you want him to be. Scorp AC of course is the most realistic option here. And so on... so perhaps check your main priorities first and then make the rest conform to this realistically. I totally second the recommendation to ask LeeLoo for her opinion btw! She has a great method for taking people's planetary geometry into account. IP: Logged |

I love your story, Vajra and I am so happy for you too. Currently I am divorced too and very very disappointed with men in my life, and I am not sure if I could love again and I just couldn't imagine someone would fall in love with me. There is this thing that I am getting old of course...and men are so deprived of passion these days.I really dream of someone like Rhett Butler with Sun and venus in leo, conjunct my ascendant (and Saturn too for stability), trining my moon and venus; moon in scorpio for passion, in my 4th house, trining my sun and square my 7th house mars...for passion too , mars in aries, conjunct my venus... Am I a BIG dreamer, or not ? IP: Logged |

never has worked with any guy younger than me. i end up maternal and taking care of all the males in my life already and thats why i think younger men are such a turn off for me. most of the guys in my generation gap so say up to 8 years older than me (that's the oldest i've gone), i already find myself more mature than and i end up mothering them because i don't like seeing them just crash and burn because of naivety or just that youthful immortality thing they have. and they can't keep up with me so with that issue with the guys older than me ... a younger guy . *cringe* like even if they're bigger/taller than me or anything like that i can't get anything sexual going. believe me i've tried. they can be my exact physical type and still... nope. i'm looking for someone who can take care of me for once.
