My opinion is Aries. I know a guy that does not THINK before he speaks and he always makes a fool out of himself, as well as annoying everyone in the room.

What are your ideas?

My opinion would be Leo because my sister has it and acts like it. Not so sure for Aries mercury.. the ones I've met don't have that syndrome. Maybe Aquarius mercury because my dad has it and I swear he thinks he's always right and it doesn't matter if what he's saying is right or not. Lol he must probably hate having a Virgo mercury person for a daughter because I can see flaws in most statements, including his.

I agree with you, Solar!

My ex has his Mercury in Aquarius and he never listens to other people. It's always his way, he absolutely refuses to believe he just might be wrong.

The Aries Mercury guy I know though is a bit more obnoxious in his approach. He says things that have people like um what? In our group of friends, no one really likes him because he doesn't think before he says things. His statements can be really ignorant and offensive.

I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to be an aqua merc and have to deal with the rest of humanity. Joking- kinda

my brother has Mercury in Aqua (and Moon-Jupiter-Uranus-conjunction in sagittarius, Venus nad Mars in Aries, and Sun and ASC in Pisces. lol)

sometimes talking with him resembles more being the willing (or sometimes not so willing) audience to his philosophical monologues.

He is very smart though, very bright, creative and so on. Love him to bits, and sometimes when he is able to let have others their say as well, talks can get really long, especially between us.
I remember this time when he was just coming over for a quick coffee, and we ended up standing in the kitchen (long after the coffee was ready) and talking non stop for 3 or 4 hours.
That just happens if you put a Mercury in Aqua and Mercury in Sag in one family.

My parents are sometimes a little overwhelmed with it (my Dad has Mrcuy in Cap, my Mom has Mercury in Scorpio - though my Dad likes to listen and claims he learns a lot from listening to our debates. lol My Dad is pretty much the most intelligent man I have ever known, and I love it that he still wants to learn, even from his children. Well he has Sun, Venus and Jupiter in Aquarius, that might make him more receptive to my brother`s and my endless tirades, as my mom usually sais. lol)

My Mercury in Pisces is squaring Uranus in Sag. I feel like I've overcome this square, but I used to have a BAD case of foot in mouth syndrome. Now I make a conscious effort to think about how people will react to what I say.

Also with this placement, I tend to speak my mood a lot. So it's not fun to be around me when I'm upset bc it's hard to hide the emotion.

As far as other foot-in-mouth, I think mercury in Sag tends to be very blunt. Also mercury in Leo will tell you whats on their mind, especially if it's bothering them

Mercury retrograde. I think it plays differently with signs. For example, someone I know has Rx Mercury in Virgo. That person doesn't think before spewing out negativity everywhere.

I'm Mercury in Aries and can be blunt but it's deliberate usually (not harshly but on occasions where an obvious thing is being skirted around) so even that's thought out. I rarely say anything without thinking. It does oppose pluto and trine saturn though.

I have been known to do this, by simply telling the truth. I struggle to "sugar-coat", because, well, has anyone noticed that we are all going to die?

If I am saying something, it's because I have hung, drawn, quartered, rearranged, sewn up, ripped apart, and sewn it up again, until I am sure I get it.

Some folks like to dig to the truth with me, some hate it (and me). C'est la vie.

Mercury (and Sun) in Aquarius.

I agree with Mercury in Aqua! My shift manager has that and she can have me in stitches in seconds, but also in a rage because she (well, she has Venus in Aries too so maybe this is it?) has this thing about "outing" people. Like telling the new girl I have a crush on my boss, when my boss is only a few feet away (among other innuendos about me and him)

I have Mercury in Aries and occasionally have FiM syndrome, like when this Scorpio girl I know proudly proclaimed she was engaged to a guy she'd only dated a collective 6 months, oh but he makes $100,000 a year and she's a single mom of three kids....... I accidentally blurted out "Hell yeah, I'd want a free ticket too!" I have no idea how I escaped that unscathed.

Ohhh yeah. I can't BEAR the elephant in the room, and all the prancing I am expected to do around it, while life races by.

mercury in sag i remember once when i was younger i was having dinner with my parents and i had left to use the bathroom and when i came back i was like sorry i took so long dad i had a lot of poopie in me! Smfh WHO SAYS THAT! idk why i said that!! My parents yelled at me for it but when they look back at it now he cracks up!!!

My mom also used to hate when i would be around family because i would always end up saying something off the wall lmao im not proud of it but it really is how i am i cant help it

I once called my dads friends son a black ape babar when i was younger i didnt mean it to be racist we were both just insulting each other talking smack haha but when i said that i broke his neck my dad was like dayum wtf 😂

The first time i met my gay cousins bf i was like whats up bro so your the one who be clappin my cousins cheeks? His face was priceless he couldnt believe i asked him that without even knowing him lmao

I deff think fire mercuries and mercury/mars aspects help make someone more inclined to have foot in mouth syndrome

Btw i have nothing against anyones sexual preference i love everybody

Scorpio mercury in my experience. I personally love them, don't get me wrong.
However, they seem to just put stuff out there and don't care of it's well accepted. Very truthful even if it hurts.
At least the ones I know but they also have aggressive moons.

I can be.

From my experience, mercury in sagg. I've seen it in sagg moon and mars too. They can be hilarious though.

Aquarius mercury rubs me the wrong way sometimes, but I don't know if they're impulsive "foot-in-mouth" types.
