I've been hearing that Aries Venus men like to be perused. And that the Aries Venus female to to pursue.

So wouldn't they be perfect for each other then?

Any examples or experiences?

Yes. They really are great together! I have Aries Venus female friends and I've known and heard stories about Aries Venus men who they were romantically involved with.
Match made in Heaven.. mainly if the conjunction is close.

The only astrological position that rivals this in compatibility... is Leo Venus.
An Aries Venus person would be more inclined to have a fun, but casual, relationship with another Aries Venus (they are on the same page on that!).
But Leo Venus makes these people want to settle down and get serious

That is fascinating, Odette. I love that your Astrology is drawn from real life examples. I don't like just intellectual knowledge, but real life knowledge.

In my opinion, no, i dont think so. They both are hunters and likes to have someone to hunt after. The males i have experienced tends to get bored with females that are too much in their space. Challenging women attracts them. Like someone that aren`t so into them, someone that they have to compete for or someone that is just hard to get or keep having just anything challenging tends to attract these males. The females also tends to get themselves into similar situations like the guys and are rarely attracted or stays interested for too long to anything that have little to no challenge.

I have a friend at work who has her Venus here.
She is just starting to put her self back out there.
She also has Sun in Pisces.
She had one guy who wanted to commit right away, but she didn't want to just jump into the first guy that showed interest. As far as I know, she is dating lots of people.

This

I'm an Aries Venus female and while yes I have had my interest in a couple Aries Venus men it was only for flings rather than commitment.

Only 2 men have ever made me want to commit.

A Leo Venus who wasn't afraid of my PDA and constant flirting (with ONLY him of course) didn't put him off one bit.

The other is my Aqua Venus fiance. His "aloof" nature provides me with a constant chase. Although I don't think a Virgo Moon/Scorpio Mars can really be aloof lol.

I have Venus in Aries too and I find that I always end up having crushes on Aquarius Venus ppl.
I don't like their aloofness though.
Lucky for you your Aqua Venus fiance has a Scorpio Mars!
Two of my last crushes had this Venus and one had Aqua Mars, and the other Cap Mars.

Eeesh that's rough!

I always find myself smitten with them, too. And I've had the same issue with stuffy Mars signs. It's not a good combo for a needy Aries Venus. Because as much as all the cookie cutter descriptions of this placement say we like to chase we also like to be chased back. Or at least have our efforts recognized in a flashy way.. which is why Leo Venus men suit us so well...

Or a Scorpio Mars

Yeah, bc even though Aries Venus likes chasing, we also like to have our efforts 'rewarded'
I wanna hear about how awesome I am and how I'm the best and how they'd never find a woman better than me lol
Maybe that's my Sag Moon speaking but still.........

I actually have an Aquarius Mars, but both my Venus and Mars receive aspects from Pluto. I can't just be aloof.

And yeah I'd love someone with Venus or Mars in Leo
Leo falls in my 4H, so it's just sweet!!

True! I forgot Aquarius!

Here is how I would list Venus sign-compatibility for Aries Venus:

Great matches:

Venus in -
1. Leo, Aquarius
2. Other Aries
3. Scorpio

Okay matches:

Venus in -
4. Gemini, Libra
5. Virgo
6. Sagittarius

Absolute worst matches, in no particular order:

Venus in - Taurus, Capricorn, Cancer and Pisces.

Does my list apply to you guys?
Just wondering!
I did it based on my friends who have this, and that's not a very large sample

Yeah, it sounds about right @Odette!!!

I wouldn't mind a Taurus Venus though.
I have Taurus ASC, so I'd be okay with this Venus

Besides, I think ppl with Taurus Venus are so cute sweet lil teddy bears
Best Venus IMO, I wish I had it!

It suits me pretty spot on amd I even have a Taurus Moon/Pisces Sun...

Im not that hot on Taurus or Cancer.

And even with my Sag Mars, Sag Venus doesn't really do it for me. I LOVE Sag Moon though!

I was trying to get my previous reply in before my phone died lol

All of this rings true for me for love relationships. I do like Pisces Venus when they conjunct my Sun, but that's probably only because they adore me, and who doesn't love to be adored? There is no challenge there, though. It's like I can do no wrong and I do need to be called on my bs at least once in a while.

I don't know that I have ever been interested in a Gemini Venus. Gemini Mars though, yes please!

Earth Venus placements are a little too grounded for me, even with my earth moon. They make great friends, though!

@midnightvenus

I'm not too sure why Sag Venus is only an okay match. I think maybe it has to do with the fact that their love has more to do with knowledge and less to do with actual FEELING or attraction. I've noticed that Sag Venus tends to get on really well with their opposite in Gemini, with Aquarius Venus, and oddly enough with the square, Pisces Venus.

There is a chart somewhere that shows which signs go best with each in their own element... like Aries lust after Leo, Leo for Sag, and Sag for Aries... or something like that. I'm honestly too tired to remember exactly what it is.

Yeah, now I can see how Sag Venus can be a problem.
Aries and Sag Venus are very competitive in their own ways.
The competitiveness can be exciting at first and become annoying later

I'd be able to handle a Sag Venus conjunct my Moon though
Especially if it's around the 25 degree, in a sextile to my Sun.

So I guess that in my case they'd be one of the great matches!
I'd love to meet a Sag or Aries Venus with Leo Mars lol

Then i think Its different between males and females, cause every aries venus man i have experienced gets bored and loses interest for someone that are too "into" them. Plenty of times i have seen these males downright falling/be attracted to someone that just aren`t so into them, and tbh i have seen women of this venus sign have a tendency to do the same. I have seen them have a bad habit of getting themselves into unrequited situations and the reason for this i think comes from them being so attracted to challenges. Aries moons and even people with aspects between mars and venus i have seen have a tendency to get themselves into similiar situations.

I have dated 3 men with Aries Venus. They were in order: Pisces Sun (Cancer Mars), Aries Sun (Aries Mars), Aqua Sun (Aries Mars).

I am a Cancer Sun, Venus. Cap Moon.

I love anything Aries and apparently I enjoy keeping things "square"

I have a 10th house Aries Venus and I didnt care for any Venus in Aries men. I really need a man who would be passionate, strong and loyal. Yet he should keep me on my toes. Otherwise I would trample all over them. If I know you are too into me, I would loose interest immediately. It doesnt help I have an 11th house Gemini Sun.
Now my husband is a triple Aries -Aries sun, merc and Asc. Plus Venus in Taurus and a Leo mars. He is soo Yummm : )
With my Venus in Aries and Leo moon, an aggressive mars would do the trick.

*TOO* into me is a turn off. I don't need a clingy partner or somebody who follows me around like a puppy. But my efforts being acknowledged is a big deal. When I was younger I chased relentlessly after anyone I found attractive whether they wanted my pursuits or not lol...

As I've gotten older, I have learned that the chase is much more rewarding when you win a little. It took me until my early mid 20s to realize this though!

The night i met my fiance I was hooked as soon as I saw him, oh boy that smile... but then it dwindled throughout the night as he proceeded to follow me everywhere all night long, trying to impress me. It wasn't until a couple weeks later that I decided to give him a shot.. and then he was hard to get ahold of, to hang out with, because of a schedule filled with work and school. It became a chase. But if he had never put forth effort to acknowledge my pursuits I would have dropped interest in him like an elevator with no safety cable.

No interest = no reason to chase
Too much interest = too easy/clingy/boring/turn-off (but ONLY when first dating. Like within, I would say, 6-8 months)

It's a fine line really.

this is great info, I'm glad so many people have replied.

I have another question I'm curious about too.
Since many Aries Venus like a challenge in pursuing would you think an Aries Venus would try to pursue a man/lady who is in a relationship or married?

^^ I still don't agree that male Aries Venus like a challenge.
So I'm not in that boat.

It depends on their Mars. If they have a strong Mars like Aries, Leo or Scorpio - they might like a challenge.
But if they have Aries Venus coupled with a 'toned-down' Mars like Taurus, Pisces, Cancer... they'll never chase anyone, in a million years.
With the 'in-between' Mars signs.. like Virgo or Gemini... they are still inclined to sit back and wait to be chased, rather than be the pursuer.

Venus stands for what attracts a man and with Venus in Aries they are most attracted to very assertive and expressive women - who are extremely forward sexually and romantically. This is the version of femininity that they find "beautiful".

So yeah... I basically agree with what you said initially, in your OP >>>

quote:
I've been hearing that Aries Venus men like to be perused. And that the Aries Venus female to to pursue.

^ That has been my experience.

Thanks for the feedback guys!!

I put Sagittarius in the "okay" section... because they are not quite as passionate.
Aries and Sagittarius are supposed to be compatible since both are fire signs... but generally in same-planet trines.. (so Sun2Sun, Moon2Moon, Venus2Venus etc.) I find that the Sagittarius person feels kind of "hassled" lol
I'm not sure how else to put that. Basically Sagittarius needs more space than Aries is able to give... because Aries is very direct. They are cardinal - so they -pounce-. Sagittarius' first instinct when they see someone pounce is to run for the hills.
It can still work out... but Aries can feel like Sagittarius is not passionate enough for them - and Sagittarius can feel like Aries is "too much" for them.

I like these signs as friends, much better than lovers!
