Do you guys love to make silly faces, especially while taking pictures? I'm trying to figure out my friend's ascendant sign and I was told she looks she has a Virgo rising. However, based on what I've read about the sign - Virgo risings don't seem silly, not in public anyway.IP: Logged |

Well, it depens on other personal placement. I am Virgo rising, sometimes I look silly in pictures, sometimes I look quite serious. Maybe she has personal planets in Leo/ Saggy/ Gemini or in 5th/3th house.IP: Logged |

This statement is wrong about a person I know with Virgo rising and Scorpio sun. You shouldn't make a conclusion based on a single factor, but consider the whole chart  IP: Logged |

The one person I know who always makes silly faces, is a Virgo Rising She has a 12H Leo Stellium (Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars) and a Gemini Moon, so probably a combination of a few factors. IP: Logged |

Most Virgo risings I have come to know, don't like taking pictures. Anything that seems even vaguely ego-gratifying in fact- seems to embarrass them. So they'll pull faces to "downplay" the attention the camera focuses on their looks.There could be many reasons for this, but the one reason I can think of is that Virgo is very self-conscious and extremely self-critical of their physical appearance. I have known many who keep a very unkempt appearance(contradicting much of what is said about Virgo's "tidiness"). But there are very few Virgo Asc that I know to be "dumb". A Virgo Asc that is OK with being seen as "dumb",is a rare find. Many would be more than happy if you photographed their intellectual capacity though(if there was such a camera). Virgo rising here..and I've a very silly side, I do sometimes do an exaggerated grin when someone takes a pic..does that count as silly? Aries23 is spot on I think..I always deflect as I'm not comfortable with photos and am very critical of my appearance.

Im virgo rising..I can be reserved, yes...boring? never!that being said, i hate getting my pic taken by others because i am a control freak and a photographer...lol. i'd rather be behind the camera. I know my good angles and lighting. IP: Logged |

awww... sorry if i offended any of the virgo risers. but, you know... how others see you and how you see yourself don't always match. virgo rising is very self-critical and that lends itself to shyness and not an outgoing nature. rare to find a "silly" or carefree virgo rising. IP: Logged |

The Virgo Risings should've had a tight financial period in the 2009, 2010, 2011 time frame when Saturn transited Libra. By progression her pAsc should be in Libra by now (depending on her age). This should attract Libras into her life in a successive order - Eg. people born on the 3rd when her pAsc gets to 9 degrees libra, then 5th, 6th...13th, 15th, etc. IP: Logged |
