Don't put it directly on the skin unless you dilute it. It would be better to drink it for overall health versus spot treat it. That way, you're purifying yourself from the inside. green tea is good, but I would look for a better astringent than that. Orange juice is horrible, absolutely horrible, as most juice because it contains added sugars that worsen your acne.

What I meant was; do you have planets in challenging aspect to the Asc? Opposite, square even conjunct? Neptune conjunct the Asc can make one very shy and feel like hiding away or seeking isolation. Not liking to be exposed much. But I would say this to be so with most Neptune in 1st house people. And it may not necessarily mean that they have acne problems. Maybe you should post your chart? Since this acne didn't start from childhood and is more of a recent development,I suspect transits ,progressions should be examined. IP: Logged |

Aleenaxo,The cleanse is at a sort of spa/resort/retreat on the island of Ko Samui in Thailand. You basically do a juice fast for 7 days as well as colemas (picture an 18 litre colonic) 2x a day. You take multi vitamins and there's a doctor on hand as well. As for what to eat I think it differs for everyone. Someone mentioned allergies or food sensitivities and that's definitely something to be aware of as well. I cut out gluten personally and have noticed a difference in my skin. Eating lots of fruits and veggies (and no juice like someone also mentioned I think ^^^) since it's better to eat the fruit itself. Drink lots of water. Just be balanced in your diet and try to listen to what your body wants. I'm not sure I could add anything to the advice you've already been given. It's all great advice and I'm mostly just repeating it. Lol. So a healthy diet, exercise, water and good self esteem/self healing work should make a huge difference. I mentioned the cleanse because although it was not just for my skin but for a host of health issues I had, it definitely helped my skin a lot. But the rest of me became balanced and so my skin had no choice but to follow suit You can easily do a liver cleanse at home and see if that works before buying a ticket to Thailand (unless you just really want to go there!) That might be your culprit - the orange juice and other foods you take in that you think are healthy / helping could really be hindering and making your PH level too acidic. You want your PH levels to be balanced - too acidic or too alkaline can cause a ton of issues, especially with your bacteria count which in turn affects your skin. Astrology aside, if you want to clear your skin up then try the elimination diet. Definitely cut out all of the juice.

My brother had terrible acne growing up, he started using liquid Golden Seal and it cleared it up so quickly. He had to continue using it for awhile but eventually he didn't need it anymore...his skin became so beautiful after using that stuff for awhile and it still is today. It has an odd yellowish color so don't use it right before going out, use it before going to bed and wash it off in the morning.IP: Logged |

Asc in Capricorn is a challenging position. One must be extra careful in taking care of themselves-even more so than others(with the exception of Pisces Asc). Until these people turn 30,they can suffer from physical ailments that are associated with people older than they are. So with many, they take a very proactive approach in their health and become the poster child of being "lean and mean" etc. The good news however is that the individual ends up aging far less than the rest of us The disciplined approach to exercise and diet, helps their body combat ailments over time and it takes far more to "knock em down" than the the rest of us. Saturn rules your Asc.Saturn is said to also rule the skin, bones, nails etc. You say that your acne started 4 years ago? Well Pluto was starting its transit in Capricorn at the time. It managed to cross your Venus in Cancer by opposition in the 6th(Health and well-being). I am not much versed in medical astrology, but anything with Saturn often means extra care and caution must be paid in that area. The added Pluto transit could be emphasizing this with the 1st opposition of your Venus in 6th. Perhaps its time to change your diet? Venus in 6th suggests a sweet tooth too. So I don't know if you have one? Pluto will be making a conjunction to your Asc in the coming year or so.An excellent time to do a "make over" and go "cold turkey" on bad habits and things detrimental to your health. Saturn ruled Asc emphasizes taking care of yourself much more than other planets. Saturn is after all, the planet of aging and all things susceptible to permanent damage and breaking. Read up on some remedies and progressively apply them. Saturn will aspect your Asc not too long from now and you'll be happy with the commitment you made to your health and well-being.

Being a super picky eater could be attributed to the Moon. When the Moon is afflicted, it can make one have a stomach/appetite that is prone to develop certain allergies or fuss about certain food mixes not tasting right etc. I see that your Moon enjoys an affliction to Mercury, Jupiter and "all or nothing" Pluto. You also have a wide opposition of "okay, you have had enough" Saturn on your Venus-by opposition. I don't think that this aspect will allow you to eat everything on sight either. Even if you have a sweet tooth, the Venus-Saturn combo will usually serve a fair helping of guilt(Saturn) that goes with that pudding(Venus)!! I have a Moon affliction to Mercury and Mars nataly. My stomach can get easily upset and bloated with the incorrect diet or just being nervous. I also enjoy Venus-Saturn close conjunct. So I tend to only eat sweet treats after a long time- based on "good behavior". If I eat sweets all willy nilly, I have a stomach reaction. Literally IP: Logged |

I think it's possible. Saturn transiting my 6th I also got a lot of cavities. ugh. IP: Logged |

My skin has become worse ever since this pluto-Uranus crap, Pluto has been squaring my Libra asc and Uranus opposite for a while. Not just my skin but overall health, Uranus transit 6th. Also I have natal mars square asc so I'm prone.IP: Logged |

I've been dealing with acne on and off for what seems like years and years now.Astrologically, I'm a Cancer ASC with Chiron tightly conjunct my ASC and Saturn/Neptune/Sun opposing my ASC with Mars inconjunct my ASC as well. My Sun also happens to be in Cap, so I'm quite Saturnine. (Neptune in my 6th house probably doesn't help either. :/) I'm going to echo what most everyone else has said and agree that both diet and emotions/your mind have a huge effect on acne. Lately, I've been leaning more towards an emotional/mind-body connection more than anything. It seems as if the more stressed out and upset I am, the worse my acne gets, even if I'm eating a clean diet. To combat this (and perhaps Pluto going over my DSC is helping in this process), I've begun to start facing old, buried emotions and am in the process of letting go of them. Whenever I go to wash my face, I appreciate my reflection rather than spend time mulling over every blemish or scar I might have. I say these words aloud, "I love and accept myself as I am." It might seem silly but I've found that it helps. It certainly cannot harm. As far as diet goes, I suspected my hormones were imbalanced so I opt for not only water but mint tea (spearmint and peppermint.) Apple Cider Vinegar diluted in water may help as well. I only eat "real" food, meaning vegetables, fruit, fatty fish (like salmon), and a little poultry. I don't really consume beef just because the grass fed stuff is too expensive and I'm trying to stick to non-inflammatory foods. I'm not sure if you've heard of the Paleo diet but I sort of follow that only with a lot less meat and a few tweaks of my own. Sugar is like poison to my body so I definitely avoid it. Also, sleep seems to play a big part. Try to get to bed before 1-2AM [i]at least[/]. I've read that this is when the body "heals" and repairs itself, so if you're awake at this time, you're not helping the process. To manage stress, I've found that yoga works well for me. And lastly, I came across this video on YouTube that sort of mimics what's been said in this thread: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOwE3NhaClo Best of luck to you, I know how trying this all can be!
