I see a lot of common ground with many Sag's I meet. But at times I wince at others.

But even with this being said, I do see a common thread with us all; the need to shine the light on "truth"- whatever that means in our own perspective.

The Asc is important. As this shows where the Sun will "show itself up" in life.

In both your Dad and yourself,the Sun placement in the house will show where these Gemini traits are most apparent.

I see a lot of similarities with many Gemini people I meet-generally. And I often catch myself asking "Are you a Gemini?"-Especially when the characteristics are just too obvious.

In as far as decanates and duads go, I think they do have a place.

But I feel that they have more to do about the individual on a soul level and are a very deep area to explore; much like degree symbols and interpretations.

Those require a more delicate fine tuning and overall understanding of how they work in conjunction with the other degree planets as well as the degree of the Asc etc.

so do decans have a big influence?

because i have my gemini ascendant in the 2nd decan -libra and i can relate to that libra ascendant more than gemini and i have other planets in spots that i don't really relate to - like my aquarius MC thats in the 2nd decan in gemini and i relate to the gemini MC a hell of a lot more than aquarius.

so can their effect be that strong?? because if so that would explain so so much
