Topic: Aspects that make one respected at work? Only?

I feel like when i go to work i am really respected, liked and popular but my home life is the opposite, i get abused and pushed around and its always my home life has always been hostile. (i have mars in cancer) What placements would create this? I have sun, moon in leo, capricorn rising. Saturn in libra in 9th house (close to 1oth) and saturn and pluto conjunct MC. MC is in scorpio. My jupiter in progressed is currently in conjunction with the MC but that won't last forever right?? I was just thinking this is really drastic in comparsion to my home or even personal life.. I had a similar episode for about an year or two, and attribute it to my Capricorn stellium because I turned into a text-book Capricorn cliche back then - a workaholic, who only found joy and sense of fulfilment in work. Pluto had just entered Capricorn then and was beginning to widely conjunct my Sun, Neptune and Mercury.At the time I saw it just as you describe things: everything else was a mess and work was the only place I felt adequate, in control, and appreciated. But in retrospect, I was over investing in an area I felt was my comfort zone, and was neglecting other aspects of my personality. By the time Pluto was conjunct my Sun exact I was experiencing a full-blown ego crisis and had to rebuild my sense of identity, and as a result my external world started to balance out. In your case I'd check for Saturn or Pluto transits, because these 2 planets usually bring long lasting circumstances which can feel restrictive and unfair, or make you feel inferior or inadequate. My guess is there is some part of your personality which is unconscious but is fighting hard to come into your awareness, this is why you are experiencing this lack of balance in your work life and personal life. Pluto /Saturn on the Ic/Mc axis explains why you get pushed around a lot and feel your home-life is non-supportive and hostile.The Mc(image to the public) is a reflection of the Ic(seat of the soul). Your popularity at work may have more to do with you Asc in Cap. As these guys are seen to be competent, efficient and responsible generally. So it works best in the workplace. I wonder additional aspects you enjoy with Cap Asc?

think of men who come to work and are quiet and hardworking and do everything the boss tells them. then they go home and beat up their wife and kids and turn into tyrants. people are generally different from work to home. you're a cap rising so you'd be a hard-worker and set work goals and achievements, and want to be very liked by people at work because of the leo placements. a cancer mars isn't very assertive so at home you're likely reverting to that personality. cap and cancer sit opposite as well, so it's a polarity in your chart causing the difference. the cancer mars sits in the 7th, likely, so you'll probably be more like the cancer part in loving relationships of all sorts - the more meek, shy, quiet, etc. with people you love and the warmth of the leo sun and moon probably makes you want to people-please so they like you and that might lead to being taken advantage of and 'abused.' leo placements don't put up with that for long though, so it's there to assert yourself more.IP: Logged |

You said your home life has 'always been hostile' Are we talking about the same people? Or are you married and this hostility has followed you into your adulthood.. just different person or people? ------------------
