You're similar to me, but I've got an Aries moon. I'm not sure how to answer your question because I don't know if I'm currently dealing with someone with the same placements, but using my experience... I would say hold back a little bit and show some disinterest and see if that pulls him in abit more. As the woman, you don't want to be the one chasing these guys all the time 1. They get used to it and 2. It ends up being unfulfilling. Trust me on that one! Find a distraction, talk to someone else (a male friend) now and again.

Where is his mars? Actually this is how he manage or assert things.

Scorpio sun , if not malefic by saturn , is highly confidence by nature . I don't think he is shy or anythings like that but the nature of the water sign esp. Scorpio , he will make sure , he will test you a lot whether you fit the bill . So I think this period is about observing the target silently. Your nature is sagg and aqua , you will have a strainght forward attitude , if you want somethings go to ..whatever face it . You will not just watch the subject and analysed it like he dose.

On our first date, I thought.. OMG it's gonna be a disaster!!! Cuz he seemed very shy! He has Virgo Asc, Libra Venus/Mars btw so I think he's well-mannered but very critical and cautious! But then after a beer, he opened up! We had a great time

He was very active in keeping in touch actually. Ever since we met online and began msging, we were practically msging 24/7. I did the initial reaching out online but he kept our conversation go on and on.

I think if your guy is sure about how he feels about you (and also he is convinced that you are into him just as much as he is to you), he will initiate for sure.

Oh, and also it's better to be attentive to his msg because if you don't reply fast enough he will get worried and insecure. He will start to wonder if you are msging other guys for example!! What I used to do is if I'm busy at work and can't get back to my man right away, I will tell him that first. I will let him know when I am free to msg, and I will actuall do msg and let him know I'm back! This way he can feel safe with you and also he can build trust in you as well.

We are no longer together because he's moved to overseas for business but he continues to initiate conversations with me whenever he can.

Lots of work.. but if you like him lots, I think it's worth it!

No Scorpio would ever make the first move, unless they're very much influenced by another 'softer' sign. Mature, strong Scorpio males won't try anything because they're too afraid of the consequences, under their shell (especially the secretive Cancer ones). They need to be in complete control of everything, that's why they just sit back and watch most of the time, without getting involved in anything risky.

If you have just met your Scorpio, their staring could just mean that you're intriguing to them (always keep a little mystery to yourself ) and they want to know more about your secrets. So, they try to stare through you ; they watch your every move. Sometimes, at the beginning, they keep on staring even if you catch them, just to test you and see how you'll react.

To tell you the truth, I'm not quite sure how to respond to this ; it happened to me once, and as a progressed Scorpio Sun (conjunct my Scorpio male's natal Sun), I decided to stare back. And then, the staring contest began. I have to admit, it was a little easy for me to win as he was talking to someone at the same time, and looking up at me (we were in a concert hall, I was about two rows higher). When I left, later, I felt he was angry and frustrated for having lost ; he kept his eyes down and ignored me several times, even when I wished him goodbye.

That's not to say they wait for what they want to just drop into their lap. But if you want him to come hit you upside the head and then be dominant then Scorpio is probably not for you. (Oh they like power all right and bossing one around when he hasn't accepted that you have authority over him will get you stung fast, but they tend not to have any respect for those who refuse to exercise--or worse, quickly give up--any power of their own. 'Course if you want Christian Grey for a quick fling that doesn't go anywhere then this might still work, though I'd like to think a "mature" Scorpio would be above such games.)

If I were interested in a Scorpio male (and all I knew was his sun sign) and wanted him to make the first move then I might talk about some "intense movie" I saw, something with a lot of feeling, preferably with a mystery or major surprises in it. This would need to be something genuine, they can smell BS easily and are disgusted by it (and it's so hypersensitive that sometimes they smell it when it's not present, at least not how they think). As an alternative I'd talk about something I was passionate about. That would certainly give him opportunity to show interest (I would NOT play coy with him either if he started flirting, they smell BS too easily and it's a turn off). OTOH, I would NOT talk about intense things that are private (or should be) as that could easily get him to worry about his own privacy should you two get close (be very careful what you share over social media about him).

No, his mercury is in libra and so is his venus. No leo either. If his ascendant is in pisces (which I think it is) it would put his mercury and venus in the 8th house so that would intensify the scorpio influence I guess.
