I can't find much on this aspect.The guy I know with this aspect is very immature emotionally and it's almost as if he puts up a wall from his true self. He chases after women who will baby or mother him. Does this sound like moon-NN? or something else?

No, that doesn't really sound like Moon-NN conj. I have it, and can explain what I think of it and what astrologers have said. I think something else in his chart is doing it. Could be the Mars in Cancer as described above, especially being in 4th house. I'll have to look at his chart more thoroughly later. IP: Logged |

The way I see it is that any planet conjunct the North Node is something the person might resist, out of fear and discomfort. So, having Moon conjunct the North Node might actually make a person come off as somewhat insensitive or emotionally distant (which is what you said). And they are learning to evolve into people who are very caring, nurturing, and emotionally giving. Their higher self is someone who's very aware of their own emotions and others' emotions, as well as in touch with their intuition. So, he's learning how to be this person. The more he embraces being Moon-like, the more successful he will be, as our NN puts us on the right path. Now, a planet conjunct the South Node can be amplified to a negative degree. So, if he had the Moon on his South Node, he might be emotionally immature and stunted. He might have a very tough time breaking free of childhood conditioning, so these people are usually deeply stuck in the bad habits of their Moon. On the plus side, a planet on the SN brings very natural talents, so they may also find it very easy to be nurturing or to express emotion, depending on the sign. ------------------
