I've only see a few posts about this aspect.

I have Mercury retrograde in Scorpio conjunct Nessus in Scorpio located in my 6th house.

I've read that it can manifest as really dark thoughts and I agree.

My mind tends to automatically think of the worst case scenario more often than most

I'm always thinking of sex, more often than the average female.

Has anyome had any real experiences wit Nessus?

Aspecting any of your personal planets..

How do you think it affects you?

I don't know too much about Nessus, but I also have mercury in Scorpio, but nessus in cancer. I think about sex a lot. I would call it an obsession.

Where did you read this? I am intrigued.
Both my brothers have the conjunction in Leo. I won't say they have dark thoughts, but even if they did they probably won't share them.

Different articles and posts, especially on this forum and I just related itvto mercury because it's conjunct my mercury so I assumed it would influence that part of my chart somehow.

It says nessus is the abuser. Abusive thoughts, to me, would mean maybe obsessive thoughts or dark, pessimistic thoughts. We abuse this part of us somehow. Abuse doesn't always equate to pain but I hopw you sed where I'm going with this.

I have that exact same aspect as yourself, Yanmorg (we're born a few days apart).

It's hard to tell what Nessus actually does, in this case, because 1) Mercury is in Scorpio, a "dark" sign to begin with, 2) can't speak for you, but my Mercury is parallel Saturn, another "dark" planet, which can be cold and cruel, 3) I have tons of other aspects in my chart suggesting an abusive personality or attracting abusive people/circumstances.

I am pretty sure many people have dark thoughts, and not all of them have a Mercury/Nessus aspect, so that seems a bit superfluous. Same goes for the thinking about sex part.

However I like your point about "abusing that part of ourselves". I can certainly relate to it, but again, might just be a Scorpio Mercury thing (especially Rx - we internalize things more, as a rule).

If we take Nessus to represent themes of abuse and consequently, possible transformation or empowerment because of that abuse, and even empowering others, then what comes to mind is: being verbally abused, being verbally abusive, thinking about abuse in general, thinking about being abused or abusing others; and if transmutation occurs: talking about issues related to abuse and finding relief through expression - words, writing, through sharing experiences; encouragement and empowerment of Self and Other by building that "bridge" of common experience using communication (Mercury).

ETA.
In the 6H, the issues may be about feeling a lack of personal power in the environment or at work; feeling like a "subject" or submissive or used; someone else misusing their power - "abusing" you - when it comes to every day chores and duties, or work obligations.

Hhmm thanks...I can tell you that both my brothers are extremely insecure young fellows...both beat themselves up thinking they can't do this or that!!! It upsets me because they are so talented and smart and good at school!!!

^ Interesting. That doesn't seem related to Nessus at all (more like a Virgo/Saturn thing if anything - do they have strong Virgo/6H placements or Saturn?) but I can relate to that (and I'm not a teenager anymore) (but I happen to have a "this person is likely to be insecure" chart).
