id put it down to aries trying to alpha in public, capricorn being the real alpha running stuff in the back ground. i think taurus is too stubborn and can be too narrow minded to be a real alpha

And Aries can be too impulsive and Capricorn too melancholic and self-beating. And I've certainly seen one dominant Taurus, though I would agree that he's a stubborn and dogmatic zealot.I'd add some thoughts but I honestly don't know if "dominant" is being used as a synonym for "******* " here (as is often the case in America), if it means seeming behavior (which can be deceptive), or if it means "will he be domineering to me personally so that I become moist (at least until he inevitably does or demand something that I DON'T fantasize about or otherwise diverges from the cheesy romances I like)" or what. That is, maybe a scheming Scorpio or hardworking no-BS taking Capricorn rise to the top but are generally easygoing (as long as you don't waste their time in which case you will be shown the door and forgotten about) and thus not seen as dominant (maybe they're even seen as effeminate for being classy) while the loudmouth jerks who work for them (at minimum wage) and like to tweet or shout FHITP at women are seen as dominant.
