Mine uses UT OR GMT which are the same thing, showing you when and WHAT the last Ptolemaic aspect to the moon made. Your ephemeris is either for noon gmt or midnight gmt, I am sure the cover tells you which. It will also show you sidereal time for each day entry. generally the ingress tables and void of course/last aspect table are at the bottom and the times given for those are always in gmt, looking for mine now to verify that statement.FOUND BOTH My 20th century is for midnight, my 50 year 2000-2050 is for noon, my copy is from 1982.So I may not be seeing what you are, if they have changed layout. Once I started using 22.5 45 67.5 and 135 those tables became meaningless for me,lol. Those table you are looking at are for noon or midnight GREENWICH MEANT TIME(GMT_ it does not make sense for those tables to be sidereal. So long since I did chart by hand and I forgot something. but this describes well> http://www.astrologicallyspeaking.com/calculate.htm ------------------ Seimei, Jupiter Nadir IP: Logged |

it doesn't say gmt on it it just uses sideral time. i'm using an old edition but its 1998. when it says the moon is in aspect to something it gives a time there and so it doesn't say what time it uses so i'm assuming its sidereal time?IP: Logged |

DOES THE COVER of the book say midnight or noon> that refers to the sidereal time given for the planets positions. The aspect table/ingress table/ phases and eclipses will be gmt regardless,so u ,must simply calc diff to TZ wher u R. allowing diff for daylight time of course if in use where&when so now if you August 30 95, last aspect was Urauns square, 7:41 so in california with dst in effect you would back up 7 hours,, so 41 minutes after midnight, 00:41, would be -5 for cdt, get it? ------------------ Seimei, Jupiter Nadir IP: Logged |
