Hekate - witch, tends to be shown with torches (light- illumination) or a key (accessing the hidden)
Merlin - famous wizard
Pythia - oracle priestess
Kassandra - was given the power of prophecy by Apollo
Moira - personification of destiny
Atropos - one of the Moirai, "unturnable"
Apollo - solar deity (illumination), patron of the Delphic oracle
Anubis - Egyptian psychopomp deity http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychopomp , could be seen as a bridge between the worlds
Horus - the eye of Horus, "an all seeing eye"
Delphi - the city where an oracle was located

Alma - soul
Psyche - soul
Mentor - guiding (giving astro/psychic readings is a type of guiding)
Hypnos - personification of sleep, father of Morpheus, linked to the state of trance which can lead to visions

Me too...lights on and off. I give people schocks all the time. I have crazy hearing...I heard a noise inside my bedroom Wall. It was a short circuit. My dad called the electrician because I insisted (a lot). No one could hear it. When they opened the Wall the cables were a mess. The entire house could have burned.

My mom says the wi-fi never works when I'm around her computer haha

First off, SO sorry I haven't responded to this thread until today, especially after you have taken the time to take a look at my chart and break it down for me. Aunt Anomalia, thank you so much! Thank you to everyone for your comments and information. All of this is very interesting and really helps me to understand my chart better.

As far as my experiences: when I was younger I had prophetic visions and dreams, but they mostly dealt with tragedy and loss that eventually came true. I've always had a little trouble distinguishing my thoughts and feelings from others, but I have always been able to read people really well and know what's on their minds (and how it could be affecting their behavior).

In the last year or so, since I lost my best friend and soul mate (my cousin) suddenly at age 31, the day after my wedding, I have been able to have conversations with him. In retrospect, the same was true of my grandfather (another best friend) who passed a few years earlier. Of course, I always convince myself that I'm delusional and I still have doubts about these "conversations."

My sister and mother have played a game with me often where they ask me to describe in detail what a person they know (these people are complete strangers to me)is like and I have described clothing, appearance, feelings, memories that are of significance to them, and some issues they may be dealing with. I wrote it off as "fun" but coincidental, again, because I guess I don't want to believe that it may be genuine. This has happened to me frequently when my sister often asks me, through gchat, to describe friends and co-workers who are strangers to me. It got to the point where everyone I described to my sister started asking me to do a reading for them. I have told these people (mostly through my sister) what I feel that they are going through and how they feel about certain aspects of my life. I think maybe more people have asked my sister for a reading from me because some of the advice I gave to a couple of people resulted in them making life-changing decisions that really changed their lives for the better, and they told my sister to tell me and pass on their thanks. I also sometimes "see" exactly where people are, what their surroundings are, and what they may be doing at the time.

A lot of my astrology readings have (interestingly enough) been more like divination, where I delineate the person's chart, but end up focusing on aspects and placements that "jump out" at me.

I also ask them if specific events (represented by planets and placements) happened in their lives at a certain age, which is confirmed and is really helpful to me when I'm trying to rectify a chart. In some strange way, it provides a kind of portal for me to really "see" the other person.

A lot of my readings are done online, through chat. I think it's harder to give a reading in person because I get nervous and shy and suddenly doubt my abilities. I think part of why I do is that I don't want to play with these large forces; I feel I can't handle it and that it's only been a forecast of negative events in my life that have been incredibly difficult to get through. On top of that, I have PTSD due to repeated traumas (some of which I could have avoided by paying attention to my intuition). I have trouble trusting people in general and have an intense fear of judgment and ridicule.

I realized yesterday all of a sudden that I am furious at the universe; at God. I started to tell him that I hated him for taking people away and ruining my life and that I felt that if he did exist, he didn't care or was being intentionally cruel. I was like "why would I want to worship some outside force if it has caused me nothing but (intentional) pain due to some plan you have for me." What was funny about this was that right after I started cursing God and telling him all the reasons I hate him and don't believe in him and could never forgive him,the sky opened up and started pouring. I was soaked through completely and I saw it as a message to me telling me to cool off and that "they" were sad because of all the anger and rejection I was expressing. So, yeah.

Well, I apologize if this is long and dull, so I appreciate your reading it.

I can definitely see the effects described through the delineation of my chart, and I really really appreciate the valuable information you gave me. I also knew nothing about asteroids except for Chiron and Lilith (the 3 Liliths) and how they may affect my chart, and rulers of houses and how they interact that hadn't occurred to me before. It'll be very challenging, but I think I'll try to accept these influences in my life and try not to fear life so much.

I'm sorry about your difficulties. I can understand your fury but it's better not to expect anything from whatever force there is. Personally, I don't think a direct intervention is an option, maybe apart from canceling this plane of existence. Sometimes I wonder why this world must be so pain-inducing. I don't like it at all but I take solace in knowing I won't be here forever. In the meantime I...we gotta cope somehow and try to become/remain at least somewhat content with our lives so that our stay here isn't a complete failure.

BTW, if you really are capable of communicating with the departed, you don't even need asteroids for this. Your 8th house and Scorpio stuff and Sun-Neptune are enough.

Hello again and thank you so much for taking the time to look at my chart (again)! Re: psychic experiences on May 18-19:

On the 18th, I did a horary reading for my sister. In general, I often do horaries for missing objects (and try to avoid relationship horaries LOL). My sister was in a very Plutonic relationship with a narcissist / sociopath who very much had control over her and the relationship. Although she asked me questions about the relationship frequently (to which I always say "I hesitate to do a relationship horary since you've asked the question multiple times and you're going get an invalid chart."). I've found that, interestingly enough, every time that I do a horary for her, she always gets VOC moon or a late AC or early AC, etc. and it ALWAYS reflects her current state of mind and the current external circumstances. However, the VOC moon says to me that "she's done everything she can." I've found that when you're too emotionally invested in a question, you will not get an accurate answer.

ANYWAY. She asked me to do a horary about making a decision to end things with her abusive boyfriend, and, as expected, it was a VOC moon. It very accurately showed what's going on and she stuck by her decision to leave him. I've been urging her to leave for over a year and I reinforced her decision. This experience wasn't out of the ordinary for me but her decision to end her toxic relationship was. Maybe this counts?

Otherwise, on May 18-19, I was missing my grandfather and cousin so much and it's possible that they've been hanging around. :-) It's hard for me to tell when my radar is working or not, since most of the time it's there and I'm not aware of it. Maybe that's the issue- I have no "off" switch. Another problem is that I'll do something "psychic" and then disregard / ignore it. This makes it so difficult to notice things. I also have mood issues and I'm greatly affected by the environment and people around me (no boundaries yay). :-/

OTHER STUFF:

Also, I spent time with my parents to help me pick out a new violin bow (my dad wanted to buy one for me). I had so much fun because we spent hours with me playing violin and Dad accompanying me. We haven't done this in forever so it really meant a lot to me. I've been rusty but I know when I played violin that night it was so instinctual and I was able to express myself so much more. Grandpa would have loved being there. Maybe this was a different sort of intuitive experience?

MUSIC BACKGROUND:

It was like reminiscing; I'm a freelance violinist and in high school I was the concert master of the youth orchestra, won some competitions, and was given tuition for summer programs. I was raised in a music environment from day one and both of my parents are musicians (my entire family is made up of amazing musicians). I went to college on a full music scholarship but I was too depressed and afraid while I was on my own that I started to withdraw and eventually went on medical leave.

Anyway, I digress- thank you for reading my life story! :-P

I looked up Poseidon and found a scary post about transits heralding death(!) so now I'm all paranoid LOL. But in general, I've been terrified of death and feel like it's always around the corner. That's something I really need to work on. I need to not ignore the universe (which is clearly trying to tell me something) but I am very angry with it! I've told the universe as much, especially in the last few weeks. It's been weird also because I've been doing a type of hypnosis with my therapist and it's brought up a lot of old stuff.

Funny that you mentioned music, Poseidon is the original Neptune and Neptune is associated with it. But I think your ease at musical expression had something to do with an exact trine from tNeptune to your Moon Your background and job are no surprise with your Sun(IC ruler)-Neptune conjunction.

It's interesting that you're scared of dying with your Scorpio and 8th house energies. Maybe it's because Jupiter is your 8th house ruler and is conjunct Moon and square Venus in the 9th. Is your fear based on feeling like you'd miss out on positive experiences? Anyway, I think Atropos should be the more feared asteroid in this case. Btw, do you know tPluto is pedaling back to your natal Atropos? Boo! Just teasing, try not to get a panic attack, ok? It could bring you lots of visits from the other side and perhaps feeling more at peace with the idea of your death.

Just found out tPholus is exactly on your Neptune. Prepare yourself for psychic explosions
