Yes, she'll be 60 this year.I'm guessing a Saturn return? Also saturn has moved out of Scorpio, right? Thank you for your help.I would post a picture directly onto this forum but ddon't know how.

Saturn returns alone do not create a really rough time by themselves. Saturn undoubtedly has transited conjunct her Sun, but is currently out of orb (moving back towards it). So there are other factors at work if she is still going through a rough time. Saturn could be transiting her Asc if it is in a very early mutable or early/late fixed sign.

If she were born in the middle or early part of the day her natal Moon (12-23 Cap / 20S42-18S15 declination) would be in mid-Cap , being transited by the Uranus-Pluto square. So that may be what we're dealing with.

Wherever her Asc and/or Moon are, transiting Pluto [20S31] has been making a contra-parallel to her natal Uranus [20N12]. This can be a challenge of its own, particularly with other Saturn transits present. If she were born later in the day Saturn could be transiting parallel her Moon.

Its worth it to research the possibilities for the time of day she was born. Don't expect astrologers or students here to work some sort of magic. This is work. So find out if any aunts or uncles or anyone else has some idea. See if you can at least narrow it down.

I believe Gemini or Sag is quite likely for her Asc, but determining this for certain is far harder than simply narrowing down the time range from relatives' statements.

Thank you for your detailed reply,much appreciated. Most of the people who would know her approx.birth time have passed but somehow Sagittarius ascendant strikes a chord. Other people have suggested Libra, Virgo or Leo so am a bit uncertain.I realize that the birth time would be ideal.Thank you all for your help.
