I don't know to explain it, but you that person that can't let you speak about things that you like in a conversation without buttiing in to tell you that your way is wrong. Kinda like a know it all but not really a know it all. When its the way you do things. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love to hear other people s opinions but its always that one person that does too much. Its like they're a salesman when talking to you, maybe that's I hate retail, even though I work in it. I work with a person like this, well two people in the past too as well.( Maybe they just see as easy target because i dont really talk that much. ) On the other hand, I'm totally different I let ppl talk their problems out and then tell them my opinion without trying to offend, but come up with a stern view point.

I have a mc in cancer.

And also, could this be a Libra thing or scorpio thing because both of these ppl were these signs? One with a capicorn moon.

mercury in aries.

omg. just jams everything down your throat. the older ones also have a bit of ageism where they believe that what they know is the be all and end all.

very abrupt as well. alway need to get to the point faster ... so they can continue doing what they need to do.

Geminiyoungster:

Aries/Mars types can be infamous buttinskies and Sag/Jupiter/Uranus types notorious know-it-alls.

Air types often simply like to take an opposing point of view for the kick of the debate. Scorpio types sometimes have a god complex as if the crowd has been waiting for the final authority and ruler of the universe to arrive (them).

Some people do assume that if you don't speak your knowledge that you don't have any. I was that way for many years and the 'salesy' types like you mention would rub me wrong.

Ultimately we all have to learn a balance of speaking and listening.

Geminiyoungster, your chart shows psychic potential. Have you experienced this yet? Mercury quincunx Uranus-Neptune in your chart makes me think that you could begin developing this in-conversation by deciding to 'listen past' the words of others and focus instead on the vibes/feeling you get while they are talking and simply put your intent on picking up on what's the essence of their point of view. At least it gives you something to do to distract from annoying arguments you don't want to have while still listening to them.

and and and! once they make up their mind on something - honestly just give up or don't even try changing it.

had one come to the conclusion that i'm rolling in cash. then offered me a job ... and tried to short change me.

i called him up on it and he straight up told me that he figured he didn't need to pay me as much because he thinks i come from money... and at that time i was living in a rat infested 1 bed room flat with my whole family because we couldn't afford any better. and the people around us knew about my situation and they all tried to help so theres no way he would not have overheard. he's seen me cry to my friend about it but yeah... decided i was rich and that was it.

when my financial situation swung mad for the better he even tried to convince my bf to ask to live with me for free because it's not like i needed the money. he said it like a joke but lets be honest he meant it cause he gave my bf a 'wtf' face when he said he's not going cheat me out of fair money.

i know another mercury in aries (i know two) who would stir the pot and cause fights and then laugh as he watched the people fight. absolutely terrible. he would kick people while they're down for his own amusement and his way of doing it was = **** stirring.

Funny as it sounds, but I've never met a aries before that I know for sure that has a Aries mercury. I've met a few that had a Pisces mercury and they seemed pretty chill. But I will keep this thread in mind if I encounter one to see if a Aries mercury does it. I don't know what this coworker had, but I think either this person has a Scorpio mercury or Libra mercury, which my other coworker had.

Thank you

Oh wow, cancer what would make you say that? And I could definitely see Scorpio because of being a fixed sign.

Experience. My mom is a Cancer sun/Mercury who likes to push her unwanted opinions, thoughts, feelings on others.

Virgo and Taurus also comes to mind.

O.m.g kannon!!!!!!!!! I just noticed that most of the times I really don't pay attention to what people are saying. I just focus on the vibes that they're are giving out while talking. Its something about that I can read between the lines while they're talking and see if they're telling the truth. I mean, don't get me wrong, sometimes I do think that I can reach for the stars and end up wrong(inconjuct) but most of the times if I really listen to that gut feeling then I can really see the truth in a way. That's why petty conversations drain me.

Thank you kannon!

LOL. I read the initial post and thought "ehh I kind of do that!" I'm not adamant they agree with me but you can't change my mind unless you abso-frickin'-lutely stump me with logic. Mercury in Aries, Moon in Taurus, Mars in Gemini.

Noooo.

I'm fine with people doing what's right for them. I don't have to agree with it. I have dealt with people who tell me that my way is wrong.

Not this one. Ugh, I hate this sort of thing. I used to be the one calming people down, or trying to help others. Now I'm easier to annoy.
my sister did that to me, though. Stirred people up against me, and got this smug look on her face. She's Mercury in Capricorn.

But I don't **** stir at all. I don't like causing fights and all of that kinda grief for fun or cause I dislike a person. Too much drama and it'll ruin my reputation which will hurt me in the end socially and professionally. Plus I know how it feels so why would I want to do something like that. 😖

Geminiyoungster:

I think it can become more effective for you by simply learning to weed out the internal feedback loop from your own mental reactions. With that I can think you can become a very effective 'reader' of others.
