Hey guys

I've been wondering a lot lately about having this aspect natally. It seems to me like it brings the individual some sort of sexual power, which in a way is a gift, but a curse in disguise. I've always been unaware of the power I have over men until my friend pointed it out to me. I was telling him the one time I almost punched this dude in the face for trying to hump me while I was dancing at prom. He then told me I was sort of a sex magnet and admitted he himself is attracted to me in that sense.

Now, this may not sound like a curse to a lot of people, but for the minority like me who value being appreciated for things other than physical appearance, it's kind of a big problem. You get people coming at you just wanting to "get it on" with you and you don't get to pick who can or cannot be attracted to you because everybody just is. It's not something that I want for myself. I even want to go to the extreme of suppressing my sexuality just for the sake of not getting sexualized by men.

For others who have or know someone who have this aspect, how do you (or they) deal with it?

You know what I have this at a tight orb, but it's inconjuct. I'm a guy so I really don't know how this could register with me? I have a libra rising, so I always pay attention to the Venus aspects in my chart.
Venus can mean your friends to , so I do notice that I do get people trying to control me in a way. I can't explain it though. I think with women it must be hard because of some people might think they can control you and look at you like a sex object.

Are you a leo sun or pisces? Do you have any pisces placements?

I am a Leo sun and don't have any Pisces placements, unless you count MC.

With my friends, I don't find them controlling per se, but I have a few who are quite manipulative. I did fall for one person who was quite clever in the art of manipulation. I admit, I myself can be both manipulative and controlling, so I guess that's part of the aspect's manifestations.

I have another friend with Venus and Pluto in Scorpio but not conjunct and she is just one of those people that are aware of their sexuality and have the power to use it to her advantage lol. She wears very very sexy outfits but somehow it seems empowering with her and not crude while normally it seems crude to me..

I am female and I have them sextile. I do get a lot of unwanted attention. I also blame that on my Lilith on the ascendant. I'm why so it's hard to deal with. But it also kind of just seems like men are really creepy and it socially okay.

I can relate to being introduced to sex and relationships before being interested in them. I don't always wear sexy outfits, but when I do, I feel extremely sexy like I've just discovered a new power. But the part of it I don't like is that creepy dudes might also be drawn to you along with the more likeable dudes. It's really distressing because who knows what those creepy dudes could do..

^^

i dont actually have venus/pluto BUT i had transit pluto square my venus a few years ago and i experienced all the things that have been mentioned here (creepy guy magnet, sexualisation, manipulation, feeling imposed upon, guys crossing boundaries and behaving in a generally disrespectful manner). if looks could kill i would easily have been a serial killer. cant remember another time where i wanted to beat the **** out of the creepy ******** who tried to take advantage of me (pls note i am like this all the time = sun square lilith )

i truly hope you are able to reign in all the intensive energies of venus/pluto. i think its possible for you to pummel any man who tries to cross you. i feel like the "harsh" pluto in your chart would make you a strong, indomitable type of woman. keep telling the idiots where to go and focus on the nice guys

i have venus sq pluto natally

I would say that I am anything but very attractive for men but often I would hear that I am....which embarrasses me.

Not many men chase after me- in real life. I have been to several dating sites and I would always get more responses than I can handle though but I think every woman would experience that

I have venus opposite pluto and I have the same problem. There's really not much you can do. You can't control how someone feels about you. What you can control is your actions. If a guy is putting the moves on you and you are not interested, then tell him bluntly that you don't see him that way. Just be careful about rejecting certain guys who don't handle rejection all that well. If you are getting a bad vibe from the guy, I might be better to just say you are sorry, but you have a boyfriend. In my experience, guys seem to handle this form of rejection much better than simply being told "I don't like you."
