I am just curious to know how other women with a badly aspected mars channel the unwanted energy. What are some ways you use your mars constructively? What sign is your mars in? House? Aspects? How do you think each aspect (or top 3 major aspects) affects you in terms of being a woman in society? I'll start of course: Mars in Sagittarius 7th house cusp Mars conjunct North Node Mars square Chiron Mars square Saturn Mars conjunct Pluto Mars opposite Ascendant Mars semi square Uranus Mars semi square Neptune Mars sextile MC Aries also rules my 12th house. My top 3 would be: 1. Mars square Saturn: this dominates my entire life along with mars conjunct pluto. Saturn also Squares my Sun and ASC. I always feel manly. I'm constantly judging myself and picking at every little thing. Physically, although I am very attractive, I find it hard to keep up my appearance. 2. Mars conjunct Pluto: Aside from the saturn square, this aspect brings out my temper. I intimidate a lot of guys my age and when I feel like I've been wronged or decieved, I explode without caution. 3. Mars conjunct North Node: this aspect is obviously important. From doing research, I believe it is my purpose in this lifetime to find a way to integrate my martian energy as a female but I have to do this through others (NN in 7th house). As a female, I have always wondered why I'm so self-critical of myself and feel so manly compared to a lot of girly girls my age. I also have a Scorpio stellium and jupiter inconjunct ASC so I'm sure that adds to it. I still get a lot of attention from guys, but they always run or disappear after getting involved and seeing how dominating I can be. Has anyone experienced these same issues with these placements? Has anyone else experienced these aspects? Do you feel womanly? IP: Logged |

I have Mars conjunct Neptune in my 12th house. It makes me have low energy and its hard to stand up for myself. I also attract emotionally unavailable men that string me along and then disappear. IP: Logged |

Mine is also in Sagittarius.I do feel womanly and get a lot of attention from men, but from afar, as in they stare at me but do not approach. IP: Logged |

I have Sun conjunct Mars in Aquarius and Mars square Pluto. Venus, my chart ruler, is under a Mars sign, Aries. Not being feminine does not make me or you less of a woman. IP: Logged |

I have Sun conjunct Pluto along with mars conjunct pluto, all 3 opposite my ASC so I can relate. It doesn't?

Feminity shouldn't be linked to womanhood? I guess I'm confused o what it means to be a woman because I have not yet fully developed into one. But I still feel like I'm more lost or confused when it comes to being woman than most females. BUT I am feminine! I have my moon in Libra, in the 5th house. I am literally a walking enigma. My Venus is also in detriment in Scorpio.

Of course it doesn't! Women are not dolls, we're not all the same. Some women like spending large amounts of time dolling themselves up, time that I'd prefer to use for something more useful. I do wear light makeup in certain ocasions, but I don't care much about it in general. I'm still a woman, my DNA hasn't changed and my vagina is still there! IP: Logged |

Haha! That's definitely me too. I just feel like the more girly girls get more attention from guys which would mean feminity is ideal when it comes to being a woman. Of course our self-worth isn't determined by any man, but what female doesn't like attention?

We're teached that we're supposed to be feminine and graceful, but that's nothing but gender stereotypes. There's nothing wrong with us!IP: Logged |

I attract these men as well. I guess neptune creates that fog so we're unable to see our men clearly or we choose not to because of the dreamy affecf neptune has. IP: Logged |

I know what you mean! Of course it's nice to receive attention, but do you really want to change your routine and self to get it? I wouldn't judge you if you did, of course. It really comes down to what you want! I forgot to mention: my Mars semisextile Mercury, but it's not a bad aspect so I guess it doesn't count here! IP: Logged |

I have no idea what to do about this. I guess just assume they will do this to me. The last one basically lied to me then blew me off. I liked him a lot and it was painful. IP: Logged |

What is your ascendant sign? I have mars in aries in the 3rd, I have a cap asc so sometimes I feel very masculine, I do see it manifest in the way that I talk, ie I curse a lot, I use a lot of slang and I have a tendancy to talk too fast. I don't have a problem with any of these things, I think i've just owned up to my persona. I know I am not the type of person to look good in frilly spring dresses, but I do look good in black, and executive or sporty clothing. Accepting this has made the difference to me. Not trying to be feminine, and owning what I know works best for me has made me comfortable in my own skin. On the flip side, I have NN in 1st, while you have it in 7th, which I can imagine would require you to let go of some of your individualist or masculine tendencies, while at the same time, mars conj NN would make that seem like a contradiction. Assertively getting along with others, fighting for others, and having the drive to make relationships work come to mind.My mars is also at the apex of a t-square with jupiter and saturn. But I dont know if those squares relate to how I feel about my femininity, as much as my energy in general. Saturn brings my energy down, jupiter makes it so that I have to be careufl about how I use my energy so as not to go overboard or over-exert myself. IP: Logged |

Hi there! I can relate to this!Mars in Sag Mars conjunction Saturn orb +3°07' Venus square Mars orb +0°41' Mars conjunction Uranus orb +9°34' Sun square Mars orb -7°43' Sun square Mars: Most descriptions of this aspect (that I've come across) haven't rang true. For me, it's been about overcoming obstacles on the journey to success. Standing in the way of myself. And also low energy. My sun is in pisces. Venus square Mars: THIS is a rough one. (Not as rough as Venus Square Saturn though) and I THINK I've actually learned to overcome this square. When I was in my early twenties, I didn't know how to have a constructive argument in relationships. I would cry, scream, throw things, etc and a lot of things that basically did nothing to help the situation. This is how my parents fought. This is how I was taught by default. Anyway, I've learned now to listen to my partner, not to fight to get my point across, but to actually understand where the other person is coming from and that my ego comes second to my relationships if I want to sustain them. I actually appreciate what this square has taught me. Venus square Saturn on the other hand...that aspect came straight from hell lol IP: Logged |

My ASC is in Taurus but it's square saturn and opposite my Sun/ Pluto/ Mars and inconjunct Jupiter! And wow thank you for elaborating on my NN. I didn't put it in perspective like that. That definitely gave me some more insight. & I see your Aries Mars in the 3rd as a very aggressive person intellectually or when conversing with others. I would probably find your communicative style attractive simply because I can relate to the energy. IP: Logged |

I have retrograde mars in cancer, its my 7th house ruler. Its opposite Neptune and uranus, trine Pluto, square asc. I feel like men are attracted but they hardly ever approach themselves or are direct with me and its so frustrating because I always think they are being deceitful and i just wish they would stop expecting me to do all the work and do all the intuiting. I like a man to be direct and honest, and tbh I'm traditional I like being persued. Physically and mentally sometimes I cant be bothered with people at all. IP: Logged |

Mars in virgo 4th houseMars square uranus: I like adventure, adrenalin rush, and doing something dangerous... It helped me to acknowledge this and go out on these adventures, it is something I need to do sometimes just to feel alive and appreciate life. If I don't do this, I become unpredictable myself and bored... eventually I get myself in trouble Mars opposite Moon: I get easily aggressive and lose my temper. I am not always the most patient with other people. If people annoy me, I have a hard time trying to ignore it. It is not always a good idea to get annoyed with random people lol. I can end up in a verbal fight or argument with someone in a matter of no time. Suddenly I just blow everything up, even though I don't want to. I haven't really found the best solution to this yet. The problem is that everything happen so fast with this aspect that it is very hard to control. I act before I think if I get stressed out or feel treathened. It can be an advantage if I am really IN danger... I seem to handle catastrophic situations really well, because of it. But in everyday life I just need to relax. I think the best way is to do physical exercise regularly, maybe do some karate lol. And meditation, listening to music that is NOT up-beat. And finally: Mars conjunction Sun. This is my favorite aspect and I don't really see it as a hard aspect. It makes me have excessive amounts of energy, and I can put my mind into anything and succeed if I really want to. Willpower is everything with this aspect IP: Logged |
