I'm starting to feel like Mercury Rx triggers depression for me. Seems to happen like clockwork.

Could this be due to Mercury being my chart ruler?

Have any other Mercury-ruled people experienced this?

I see a lot of people post sad topics around Mercury RX, but unfortunately can't remember their signs (or their names really but I know every Mercury RX there are reports of feeling miserable).

I've become very frustrated this week, at various things, but one of them being communication which is actually not something I'm concerned about most of the time.

I've also not been sleeping as good and feel heavier even though my habits are the same.

I haven't been sleeping well and not done many of the things I'm supposed to do. I'd say Mercury picked an extremely bad time to go retro because I'm about to graduate and I just feel out of energy.

Haven't been able to decide which university to go to either. I thought I wanted to go to one university, but now it's like.. eh..

I'm a Gemini ASC 11 degrees, I feel so affected by this.

I feel like crap.

I was having such a blast leading up to this, and now I have so much on my mind.

I want to just shrivel up in a corner for a while.

I feel so weighed down, and wonder if everything will ever work out in my life.

Oh my God, yes school! I was suppose to have a paid internship for a position I'm overqualified for...and it fell through. Because I failed the online assessment. Really ****** me off, I've never had to do that to apply for a job! And the director clearly liked me and wanted me to work there!
The winter semester was rough for me. A week between semesters is seriously not enough time for me to decompress and be motivated again. Especially a 6 credit class.

Today is the last day to drop with a full refund, and I feel like whatever decision I make I will regret it.

Yeah I feel you. "Shrivel" is a good word for it.

haha thanks my favorite band Devo uses the term "shrivel" in a handful of their songs. Even the name of one of their songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4oVOFVhV_A

I've been contemplating dropping this class all day. But I think I am going to stick with it. Because I realize how bad I just want to be on my own again lately. I do not want to apply for full time jobs until my degree is done. So I can have more opportunities and not be so stuck.

It drives me crazy living with my parents. I love my parents I appreciate them...
But when I'm home, I need to decompress, and my mom doesn't get that and can be very annoying, and she wants me to feel bad about that. Plus as a Scorpio Moon, privacy is important to me. And my mom is a helicopter parent that is always trying to be up my ass.

In my previous relationship, the few times my ex bf stayed over. Almost every time, my uncle that I cannot stand would come over and wouldn't leave. If we tried watching a movie over there, my dad would start banging on his hammer in the next room over, and the movie would have a loud obnoxious sex scene in it, how was I suppose to know? Things like this make me realize that I don't want to really bring guys around my parents like I did in the past.

There are certain moments that living with my parents really just get to me, and really bring me down, or **** me off.

Months ago my dad barged in my room when I was naked.

I started to go out and party a lot in April. It's annoying to have my mom comment on it. Want to know what I'm doing, where I'm going, who I'll be with. Partying, hooking up, drinking...last thing I want her to know about.

I just started dating someone exclusively. It's too soon for my mom to know about this person, and she wants to know. I pretty much told her to mind her own business because it hasn't even been a week. I regret letting it slip, that I was dating someone to her. She saw me get my heart broken in February and how it's impacted my life, so I get why she is being annoying and wants to assume that I am going through the same **** . So I don't need her excess worrying about me being hurt. But no one wants that kind of support around them when they are dating again. When people just assume it's bad and not know ANYTHING about the person. Then they can expect that person to want them out of their business. I'm in no rush to bring a guy to my mom and dad.

So wanting to decompress and not have mom in my business. Makes mom view me as a "meany."

I am seriously too old for all of this **** , and so ready for that next chapter in my life. Please tell me there is a light at the end of this tunnel I'm in.

I am very sensitive to anything and anyone bringing me down.

Now that I think of it Mercury was rx when I got dumped on February 7th. And let me tell you, I felt very drained. I started to feel drained yesterday afternoon.

Mercury dominant here. I've been feeling a bit down this past week, though not horribly so. This is not super uncommon for me, though. But I haven't been sleeping all that well (lots of tossing and turning, can't shut my thoughts off) and my appetite has been a bit off lately too.

To note, it is that time of the month, so I might literally just be experiencing those lovely hormonal 3-5 day changes. But I never like to rule these things out completely, so it could be both this and Mercury Retrograde.

I feel like I've already experienced a few communication mishaps but nothing really serious. When I got home a few hours ago, I found a piece of mail on my doorknob from someone with the last name Moon, and addressed to someone I don't know, but sent to me by accident. Guessing it was someone who lived here before me. Made me laugh and go, "Huhhhhh?" I laughed because I immediately thought of Mercury rx.

- Gems need physical exercise to distress the Nervous System. And no emotional/physical issues will happen.

~ A lot of movement is always Healthy for Mercury.

Yeah I'm hoping this rejection and failure doesn't affect me too bad. I feel very down today looking forward to when Mercury rx is not aspecting my asc. So maybe a week from now, I will feel better.
But then it will square my Venus in Pisces. I swear Venus is self esteem sometimes.

I hate when I get like this, I get so overwhelmed and down I just sit and stare, space out and barely get anything done. I get in this shut down funk.

Things were really starting to look up for me too...after so many big failures and rejection in my life before I become a complete ******* or something? Oh God I sound like a drama queen. Nothing can be great all the time, life can't be a party all the time. But damn.

I just want to sleep, or be in a different reality, or another planet.

Completely agree! I thought about exercising today. But I think I just need to sulk and get bored of sulking first. I exercised 4 times last week. And I felt amazing! It's a I'm so upset, I don't want to leave my room day, and want no one to talk to me or see me.

Just realizing how being dumped as impacted my life for the better, and for the worst. The times I see "life gets better" Has made me so happy and alive and feel beautiful again.
But whenever I have some kind of academic failure, it really brings me down. Getting dumped made me feel low self worth, and then being told I'm not good enough in school and such. It has just made me that much more sensitive to set backs. (I failed one of my classes)
Glad I am just dating someone right now. Cause I do probably need to heal more from previous relationship.
I'm worried that I am going to be extra sensitive to who I am dating now because of all this and take things extra personal.

I just need to surround myself with "I'm good enough" things, and people as much as possible.

I really wish I wasn't in school right now. School has pretty much made me feel low self worth since first grade. I really just wish school would slow down for me with out getting behind.

Thanks for letting me sulk so much in this topic today everybody.

...and now for the positive side of mercury retrograde
From cafe astrology:

"There is absolutely a positive side to Mercury Retrograde. This period is best used for re-organizing and reflecting. We look at the world a little differently--through different filters--and can come up with some very important inner revelations. It may be difficult to communicate them under this influence, but not everything needs to be rationalized. Mercury retrograde periods can be times of heightened inner awareness, when meditation, benefiting from keeping a journal, reworking old plans, and reviewing past work are favored. Minor breaks in the mechanical aspects of communication can actually re-connect us to other means of communication, such as when there is an unexpected power outage and we're forced off the computer and television, finding different and often satisfying ways to entertain ourselves."

Oh yeah, I'm also getting borderline stalked.

This person on my fb I accepted a friend request from in my early 20's I had mutual friend with but never met.

Well he has taken a fb fancy to me. Started messaging me. I'm not interested at all. I ignored. Then he liked and commented on one of my statuses. Then fb poked me.

And today he text me...He somehow got my number! Can't take a hint. I can't even. I blocked him on fb. Cause seeing his statuses, he is a stupid drama queen. Just saying.

Oh yes lots of reflecting on my life today.

It's exactly rx on my ascendant today. My anxiety is HORRIBLE!

I am looking forward to this week being over. I am meeting the guy I'm dating parent's and sister today. Trying to calm down my nerves. I think once I start getting my act together this week, I slowly start to feel better hopefully.
