Are your feelings like treasures and you bury them?It's always said that your moon is your inner you. That only people who are close to you see your moon, but I wonder.. Is it the same for Cancer Asc? Since the Asc is the face you put forward for all the world to see, and the moon is their chart ruler, would a Cancer Asc be the most likely to be the heart on the sleeve, with their moon showing for everyone to see? Cancer ASC, with Taurus Sun and Leo mooon. My feelings are pretty private. It also takes me a long time to process my feelings and figure out what they actually are, so I tend to keep them inside a lot.IP: Logged |

I do have a Cancer rising with an Unaspect Moon (Gemini Moon) and Venus in Scorpio. I look like a softie (I have a round face and all) but people usually assume I'm cold and jaded because I don't express my emotions at all. They think I'm closed off. I am in public, but I truly wear my heart on my sleeve in private. I can even cry if a begger asks me for a few cents because I empathize a lot. When I get hurt in some way, it takes me ages to recover (I spend a lot of time crying). I'm far more sensitive than your average person, but only in private. In public, I'm a bit of a tough crowd and most people are scared to approach me. I try to soften up a little, but it's hard for me because I intellectualize my feelings a lot. I need to understand why I'm feeling this or that way, instead of just feeling. I rationalize a lot. IP: Logged |

i'm also very private about my feelings..i have moon(asc ruler) in libra square uranus,neptune..i can be very detached..only in front of my bf and my two best friends i express my feelings and again not always..i have a really hard time expressing them..most times i keep them locked in my own private word and in my diary  ..keeping diary it helps..FireDragon i also need time to figure out what my feelings are..the moon in libra indecisiveness  .. Oh I can relate to this so much haha! I am cancer ascendant, pisces moon. I think because of my relatively new work, where I am in close contact with a lot of relatively "helpless" and very needy people, I realised that I got to be the same way to protect myself - and others. I empathise a lot, but I just can't do that with my work. Everyone has to be treated fair and equally and professionally.. I can't let my feelings run away with my in public... but privately I am a very sensitive person who can easily cry over a picture of a cute animal lol... But in public where I have a lot of responsibility I have a kind of hard/strict appearance because I kinda have to... other people maybe don't, but I do, because otherwise people would take advantage of me so fast! I also look extremely young and feminine and sweet. I smile a lot, have blond long curly hair, friendly eyes and a big round face, with big round cheeks.
But it's not that I am THAT sweet... I think I try my best to look like I actually don't give a f*** (but I very much do give a f*** about everything lol) IP: Logged |

Husband has Cancer Asc with Venus conjunct. Mercury in 1st in Cancer too. He doesn't openly speak about emotions. I however, can read him like a book! Have pity on the man!

My emotions are written all over my face and body language but if they are "negative" I don't like to discuss them and I will hide them quite a bit in order to not upset people around me... Cancer ASC, Aries sun, Sagittarius moon. Like some other posters, I feel like sometimes my feelings are pretty easy to read, but I try my very hardest to cover them up. I feel very much like Cancer the Crab. I am very very sensitive on the inside, and am always pushing my feelings aside (no, killing them if at all possible) in order to protect myself. I am intuitive (also a very cancerian trait), and I can see where expressing an emotion will lead. If I find that ending unfavorable, I don't express it. It kind of sucks because I feel like a lot of things get repressed. It's interesting. All cancer rising people I have met seem this way, but all cancer sun people I have met wear their hearts on their sleeves (unless they are also cancer rising). IP: Logged |

I can easily see every emotion in my bf's face and body language. He can't hide much from me or a lot of other people I'm sure haa. He also has sun and mercury in Cancer.IP: Logged |

I don't have Cancer Asc, but my sister does.And what I can tell you is that, with her added Cancer Moon conjunct it very closely, her feelings are everything and ALL that matters. I'd say that having Moon in 1st house(even if not necessarily Cancer rising), can make ones emotions show to people a lot! IP: Logged |
