I've been talking to guy on and off for months and until yesterday I believed there was mutual interest.

He is Sag Sun, Venus conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, Virgo moon and aries Mars.

It started off as just wanting something casual on both sides but somewhere along the way I started believing there was more because of little things he would say that made me think this.

After a while of talking it seemed like he was offended when I would think of our interactions as just casual.

When we talk we argue a lot and it's nearly like we bonded over this. He even said he liked me even more after the first argument.

I like the intensity as I have an 8th house Stellium including venus, Mars and moon and venus conjunct pluto in Scorpio if you count it as an out of sign conjunction as venus is in the late degrees of libra and pluto in Scorpio. I feel like we really get each other, the good and the bad. Like we're not afraid of showing our true colours to each other.

But suddenly I feel like maybe it was just one sided. That I just felt like this because I know I'm just one of many he talks to.

Is it common for Venus in Scorpio to feed you crumbs to lure you in? Would they expect you to chase them?

But I do see that the Venus/Pluto conjunct in Scorpio does take the heat up a notch.

Just be sure that he doesn't get his "thrills" from causing havoc and pain. Or only equate intimacy to when you two are squabbling and disagreeing.

Yes , it's so normal ... They lure people to their love trap , they don't really make a move but use only their magnetism

You can't say who feel it more untill you know his exact birth time.
But I can see , this has deep impact in your souls as ihis planets land in your 8th.

In synastry ,the one who felt more is depend largely on , who ever hit these target more ...
- planets on Angles : Ac ,Ic, Dc, Mc and that
- planets in 4th, 8th, 12th House : the house person feel it more . When the relationship end ,the house person tend to get hurt more too.
- Saturn /pluto on persenal planets : the planet person is more upper hand .

That is the Achilles heel with Scorpio placements; we tend to associate deeper connections and turbulence as side by side occurrences. Not to mention a suspicious nature

^^^Yes to this. I'm trying to figure out if that is what he is doing or he is just not interested at all.

Since we started communicating months ago I could sense that I would say certain things that probably annoyed him and then wouldn't hear from him for weeks. Then I would get a a very short message like " Hey"or "Looking good" out of the blue. This has happened a few times.

Last time he went MIA was because we were going to meet but by the time he text that evening it was too late and I didn't meet him. The next day he text but was really short and childish and said he was in a bad mood cos he was tired and then a few messages later said it was because I wouldn't meet him.

5 weeks passed and then he text again a few nights ago. But I didn't respond till late and now nothing from him.

Hi. Thanks yeah it's hard to know without correct time of borth.
However, his planets don't fall in my 8th but his saturn is in my 12th. His venus conjunct my saturn. I somehow feel that the impact there is the other way around...as in that could effect him more. I feel like a personal planet would be more personally affected by Saturn.

I'm not ok with this kind of treatment but I don't know whether or not he's playing games because as you said Scorpios can enjoy this or he just doesn't care. It's really annoying me :/

I also have Sun and mars conjunct pluto, all 3 opposite my ASC conjunct my DSC.

Scorpio rules my 7th house.

(...) so I can't isolate this placement unfortuantely and I'm a female too so my response might not be much of help.

I do have mars in Sagittarius, 1st degree.

Anyway, I don't tend to hold back at all if I'm interested in someone, but I might twist the courting stage to my advantage at the beginning stages simply because I have to protect myself and not fall too fast like I have done many times in the past.

If someone with Venus in Scorpio is interested in you, you will know unless other planets conflict.

We don't let go easily so if we aren't pursuing you directly, it might be because of an attachment to a past relationship or hurt.

I read your depiction of events, and I just see you devaluing your interactions (to his face, no less!), abandoning plans to meet up, not prioritizing his texts/calls, and not making every effort to keep in regular contact - "waiting" for him to come to you. You aren't being forthright and straight to the point. He sent a "hey" because you gave off a cold-shoulder vibe.

I say this as a Sagittarius SUN, with a Scorpio VENUS. My MARS is not in knee-jerk Aries, but is exalted in ambitious Capricorn. My MOON is not in demure Virgo, but is in the somewhat similar sign of Libra, the master of politesse. I can understand where he's coming from.

Honesty and bluntness, clarity of how things stand - these are highly preferred when it comes to relationships, especially for a Sagittarian. Scorpio VENUS does not tolerate games. This placement is tirelessly suspicious, and always thinks things will turn out for the worst. Scorpio VENUS requires much attention and reassurance, so in a way, they can be high-maintenance.

Thanks for your honesty.
This is pretty much what I suspected. The only problem is my venus in Libra conjunct pluto in scorpio and My venus is part of an 8th house stellium with moon and mars. So I'm trying not to be terrified of rejection myself as I also feel there is a lot at steak and I'm afraid to risk being hurt cos I guess I do quite like him.

But I know what you mean and from what I see he has a lot of females who seem to pursue him because maybe that's what he needs. Someone that gives in so he is sure before he makes a move.

I can see he's tried before so maybe he thinks it's up to me now.

I appreciate the input esp with all those Scorp placements

He made it clear from the start how much he wanted to meet me cos he felt very attracted etc but I also have a suspicious nature and I didn't jump at the chance the way he probably wanted me to.

Even though he said things directly, a lot of our conversations were I felt more one sided on my part. He would contact me first for a while then it was me who initiated sometimes. His responses tend to be short so I took it as disinterest. I should have considered maybe that he was just being closed off due to his Venus in scorpio.

I'm not sure about his past just yet so perhaps he was hurt. It's hard to know what's going on his end.
