In my experience the Asc of most people's birth charts is not accurate enough, and the orbs commonly used for interpreting solar arcs (1*) are too wide for this factor to be likely the trigger of what you are experiencing.

The meaning of Sun-Asc in any combination is strength, confidence, vigor. That does not preclude injury during this factor, but it is almost certain there are other arc/progressed aspects involved within very tight orbs.

The only way to know what are the most active aspects on the date of any given event is to set the transit/prog/arc for the date of the event; limit the orbs to single digit minutes of arc (if you are using astro.com set orbs to 6%).

No reading of any progressed chart while using enormously wide orbs at or near 1* will be accurate. Promise you.

The correct orb of influence for dates of events for the prog Sun (solar arc) is 0*05' or less (five minutes arc).
