Hello I've been Googling and reading about this but I just wanted to ask this question here to see if anyone has some insights they would like to share.

So my question is regarding my own Saturn Return, which is coming up because my natal Saturn is in the late degrees of Sagittarius.
In my natal chart, Saturn is conjunct Sun, Mercury and Uranus, as well as the M.C. I have read the separate interpretations but was wondering if anyone could help me understand how a Saturn Return could be affected by simultaneous conjunctions to those other planets.

Even better, if any of you have already been through your Saturn Return and have natal Saturn conjunct any other planet I would love to hear about how that other planet flavoured your Return, or if it had any effect at all.

Hopefully that was coherent! Thank you so much for reading

The period of your Saturn return will be more significant for you than the norm, because its really about its transits to those other chart points. I have Sun-Saturn together in my birth chart so there was a period in which I had both transits happening together. A difficult time for me, partly due to pre-existing debilitating health issues (17 years ago, long gone and overwith).

The Saturn return is a point at which there can be a measuring of your progress and what goals are worthwhile; what expectations to throw off that were put upon you by others; it can be a time of ending certain responsibilities that are fulfilled, and reorganizing your life to better suit you now.

Upload your chart so we can see it to give you a more detailed preview of what this time will be like. Save your chart image in photobucket or another online file storage site. Take the imae URL of that file and paste it in a message here between these tags: [IMG] [/IMG]

Yes, this will be quite the challenging Saturn return, because it is far more for you than just a Saturn return. It will go something like this beginning December 2016 ...

Phase 1 - Saturn moves into conjunction with your natal Mercury, causing you to probably have to say 'goodbye' to something or someone in your life that is no longer appropriate for you.

Phase 2 immediately following - Saturn return begins. Serious thought will have to be given to how/where you may have over-extended yourself, and how to reorganize your life.

Phase 3 begins by 2nd week of Dec 2016, before conjunction to natal Sun - Saturn parallel natal Sun - Limitations to energy/commitments, reining in energy output for a while to accomplish these things.

Phase 4 begins in early Jan 2017 - Saturn makes conjunction to natal Uranus. This one can be hard on the nerves, feeling quite stressful especially for freedom-loving individuals whose lives are normally spontaneous or impulsive. It forces one to at least temporarily cut away those activities that have no current pragmatic value in keeping your life on track. Diversions in which you have indulged yourself may be put aside for a while. Expect difficulties with tech/computers, possibly requiring you to go without one temporarily.

This latter phase may introduce the most stressful part of all of it, because Saturn will also move into square with natal Nodes, which can mean a time of obstruction in moving forward, along with doubts about your purpose/direction in life and the need to feel that what you commit to is truly worthwhile. This is normal for anyone going through those transits.

Unfortunately, Saturn will go retrograde in 2017 and come back later for another pass over all these points in direct motion, causing the transits in total to last through 2017.

This too shall pass.

Thank you SO much Kannon for your awesome and detailed reply! I really appreciate that you took the time out of your day to do that
I guess I had better buckle my seat belt for this bumpy ride! :S
At least I can be as mentally prepared as possible for this celestial upheaval!
And though I'm sorry to hear that you had health problems during your Saturn Return, I am glad you overcame them and it is always reassuring to hear such stories!
Again thank you so much for sharing, I really appeciate it
