I really wonder about Capricorns, especially the men. They are so damn sexy with their stoic poise and smoldering minds, but I noticed the 3 Capricorn interests I've had have never played their cards right with me. If they had, I would have been putty in their hands. 1.) Capricorn Sun/Cancer Moon - Already a doozy because of that Sun/Moon opp. but let me tell you, this boy was so gorgeous. Carried himself with classical subdued masculine swagger, created the most beautiful pieces of art (music/videography/photography), dressed himself in crisp cuts. Why do Capricorns love plaid?? Anyway, yeah, he was fine as hell. He dated, were intimate, but he never, in the year we messed around, gave enough of his inner life to keep me interested. Always kept me at bay. Mind you I'm an Aquarius Moon and don't care to pry at all, but over time, he stoic masculinity became bland and I got bored. I ended up ditching him for... 2.) Capricorn Sun/Virgo Moon! Despite the double earth, this dude was ******* hilarious. I've never met someone with such a great sense of humor. Wasn't classically handsome as Capricorn 1, but he knew how to command a room and endear himself to everyone. To this day he's the only guy I've ever gone out of my way to pursue. We had great dates, tons of chemistry, the conversation never stopped... but he had reservations about commitment. I enjoyed him so much I didn't care at first, but again, the holding back. Over time, again, this got a bit dull, and I decided to end things because my interest was already cooling off after a few months had passed. 3.) Gemini Sun/Capricorn Moon - My first interaction with a Cap Moon, which I feel an infinite more affection for. When the Sun is active, I don't nearly find him as interesting. It's the Capricorn emotions I'm absolutely addicted to whenever he reveals his inner life, but I think life is so much easier for him socially when he relies on the superficial charm of his sun, it's rare to get that sneak peak into his emotional life. In a nutshell, these people have everything it takes to be the ultimate seducers, but it's the reservations that probably make most people pull back over time. Maybe it's not meant to be with me and Capricorns? With all this being said, I respect the hell out of them and they have the most incredible presence out of all the signs imo. IP: Logged |

I believe in standing up for yourself when you need to, but going out of your way to get back at someone out of spite… Not a fan. Not all Caps are the same. There are those snobby, cold hearted, user, social climber types. Just about everybody knows someone, or knows someone who knows someone, like this. Every sign has it’s A-holes. Then there are those loyal, dedicated, friend-till-the-end, type Caps who are determined and motivated to do good in their lives. These ones are adorable. I admire other Caps with this kind of integrity. Most Caps have their act together and are not irresponsible, or crazy erratic. Generally they mean exactly what the say and stick to their promises. I find other Caps fascinating and interesting and I love to hear their stories. Often they have to overcome some type of early struggle in life, like poverty, not fitting in, stressing about school, or having family issues. As they mature they often improve as they grow into themselves. They’re often wise beyond their years, and can sniff out bullsh!t from a mile away. They have a no-nonsense firmness about them where they can just sense what’s a smart reasonable thing to do, and what’s not. They often struggle with expressing their inner feelings but they’re there alright, and with time they’ll reveal them bit by bit. It takes time to win over a Cap. They tend to wait until they are absolutely sure they can trust you. If a Cap say’s they love you, you better believe they’ve thought it through for a long time and are sure they mean what they say.
Excellent post, couldn't have said it better myself! That is why when people act very vindictive toward others, I just sit back and wonder why are you wasting so much time getting revenge when you could be out in the world being productive? Honestly, I am boring as can be, so your life has to be pretty miserable if you have nothing better to do than to 'beat' me lmao. quote: Originally posted by Faith: -The first decan (Capricorn/Saturn) tends to be the most successful in business. God I hope that is true for 1st decan ASC too! Meh, I could be a little more generous with the moohla, but definitely not richer than my family members. Not yet at least.

They usually save their money and often bail out family members in need, because they are richer than their family members, because they work.-The second decan (Taurus/Venus) tends to write a lot of poetry, music, philosophy. We are the lazy ones. Everyone who says, "I know a lazy Capricorn" is talking about us. If we are interested in something we are like that stubborn bull who will not budge for an eternity. They call it lazy but to us, we are *specializing* in something. We are sucking the marrow out of life and will capitalize on it later....we think.... Taurus stubborness can also work in our favor and help us to attain goals, by never quitting. We get obsessed productively sometimes. -The third decan (Virgo/Mercury) is the most self-assured and unbending. Usually the wisest of the three Caps, they rest on unshakable beliefs or principles that no one can tear down. Even if the reason is, "Because I said so. And I'm in the position of power here," it's still something that cannot be refuted. Third decan is hard but brittle. If they make any mistake, they despise themselves for it. So they DON'T make mistakes. They are usually right. I have a third decan Cap friend and she is like the guardian of my sanity. She won't let me believe anything that's not true, checked, and double checked. - All Caps are funny, if only to ourselves. We all like corny jokes. I've never known why. Tell a stupid joke and the Caps are always choking on their food and turning red. That's the demented part coming through.
Love this. I keep forgetting about the decans, but yes, they do add a little touch to that planet, same as the duad and dwad. I definitely have my lazy days (especially when Saturnine depression kicks in) and prefer a peaceful, friendly environment because of that Taurus influence. Heh yes Cappies are funny in that dry, sarcastic way.

I just saw the movie the Theory of Everything. I didn't know Stephen Hawking was a Capricorn Sun...now it makes perfect sense. His character and qualities portrayed by the actor screamed Capricorn to me...then I looked up birthday on wiki and I knew he had to have some Capricorn in him. His wit, sense of humor during tough times, and resilience, determined to finish their goal...made me think of Capricorn qualities. What do you guys think?

Aside from the generational planets, I only have the sun there. Otherwise Taurus, Aquarius, Sag and Aries so I think that balances out the energy a bit. As a child I was very reserved, insecure and a bit moody. I've always been really sensitive, especially to criticism. Around people I really liked I was very goofy. The older I get the more expressive and open I become. Ageless. It'll still take many years but I never give up. If I fall down, I feel the sadness, anger, guilt, or whatever it may be, and pick myself right up again...a new and improved person. It happens every once in a while but the grass gets greener each time. The Capricorn latter doesn't have to revolve around career or reputation. It's whatever you want to master in this life. Heck, Im 26 and still don't know what I'm doing. I could care less about money and material goods. As long as I'm happy and doing what I'm passionate about, that's all that matters c: IP: Logged |

I love Capricorns! So practical and reliable. They usually have a dry sense of humor I think too. My grandmother is a Capricorn and she's hilarious in her own dry-humor sort of way. We are the same height (5'2) and she always tells me, "Go pick on someone your own size!" She's 93 years young and still quick as a whip. She doesn't like showing her emotions or showing her vulnerable side. She is very nice, but doesn't like it when people see her cry. My best friend from college is a Capricorn. She was president of our sorority, was a member of a few other clubs on campus, and majored in Biochemistry, all at the same time. She is now a pharmacist. She is uber smart but never boastful about it. She is hilarious too, in her own little way She isn't very emotional either, she definitely uses her mind to process decisions instead of emotions. My ex-boyfriend was a Venus in Capricorn. Ah, here is what I didn't like the Cap placement so much. He wasn't very romantic. He was more the type to do fix stuff for you to show that he cared. I'm very romantic and he just didn't seem to place any importance on the sweet things I did for him, so my feelings would get hurt. I think Capricorns are very pragmatic and they don't place importance on what isn't necessary. I admire how organized and practical they are. They always seem to be very good with financials as well!
