Oh man, I hope it is appropriate to bring at some point. The occult is a big part of my life, but yeah, you are right, they are way more intrigued by science. IP: Logged |

If he has a pluto/ venus aspect or he is plutonic in nature he might have interest in the occult though.

No, Aquarius people tend to be very "reality" oriented. They're pragmatic individuals. They really wouldn't believe in the occult. He would think you're crazy.IP: Logged |

No not really...my ex has Venus Aquarius conjunct Sun...talk about books or films...not the occult. In fact MOST people don't understand the occult. I only tell a select people, usually best friends, of my witchy side LOL. I believe with Aquarius can go both ways...they like the strange and weird but some like intellectual topics.

I don't think it will help much. If I were you I would just go by instict,if you feel like saying something is right do it. IP: Logged |

I've been with two Venus in Aqua guys and while they were not anti-occultism per se, they both despised astrology in particular, which they felt was a stupid superstition. Both however were open to spirituality otherwise. After wondering what made them so anti-astrology, I found out that they equated the use of it with 'handing over control to an external belief system' - basically they assumed that a person who believed in it would thereby become a kind of slave to illusionary (=non-existent, in their view) cosmic forces and stop thinking for themselves. This would be a trait a Venus in Aqua would typically see as unattractive in a partner, because they would equate it with mental slowness/lack of intelligence. This, I feel, is the main problem. Jeffrey Green once wrote that a Venus in Aqua person highly values intelligence in a partner, and that they can perhaps never truly love someone they feel is not intelligent. So, if a Venus in Aqua guy equates belief in astrology or another such occult system with stupidity, as could very well be the case if they haven't really researched it themselves, this would make such a belief in a partner rather a turn-off. In my experience Aqua Venus guys are nevertheless open to learning new things, especially from someone they trust and value, and if eg. astrology is presented to them not as an enslaving thought-control system that sees predetermination everywhere, but rather as a great tool for understanding human psychology leading to personal growth - then they are much more open to it. The same probably goes for other occult things. IP: Logged |

His chart is similar to mine. If you're comfortable with sharing this part of you, I say go for it.------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

With Pluto in Scorpio, and Mercury conjunct Uranus, I think he's likely to see it an eccentric hobby of yours and he'll leave you doing your thing without interfering...that's how I see it. In what house is the Pluto in? That's an important thing. It could help with the occult issues if it's in the 8th,9th or 12th.IP: Logged |

This is exactly how I used to think. I was definitely massively anti-astrology, but came around after being provided "evidence" that was more than just simple psychological phenomenon. Maybe if I present it in a scientific light, perhaps that will make them more open to it. I do want to introduce it to him at some point because if I am going to be with someone, he HAS to be open to it, even if he doesn't believe in it like I do. I cannot be with someone who is judging me for it. And if that makes him run away, so be it, I think. YOu made a great point about HOW to present it to him, and I will definitely be using that. THanks so much! IP: Logged |

Ahh this I am not sure about. Have to drag that birth time from him, somehow. hehe.
