HelloProgressed Jupiter is about to make an exact conjunction to my natal Jupiter.
Natally, I have Jupiter Rx which turned direct a few months after my birth - hence the coming conjunction. Has anyone experienced a planet conjunct itself by progression? (the Moon excepted) My Taurean Jupiter is in the 6th house  IP: Logged |

Many people have. This only occurs when a planet (not Sun or Moon) was retrograde at your birth or shortly afterward. It is not particularly significant, merely representing a reinforcement of the natal position, as well as some of its aspects. It can play into some timing mechanisms, however, when accompanied by other exact/near exact progressed aspects (within 0*04'/four minute arc orb).------------------

What Kannon said is absolute, except perhaps IF it was exactly on cusp of 1,4,7,10
so it is more than Jupiter conjuncting itself.
Happened just after my 32 birthday, 19 years ago. For me times were good , but My Saturn nearby was still quite retro.
And I MUST ASK > WHAT method of progression shows this >
"I have Jupiter Rx which turned direct a 'few months' after my birth" so you are in your 90s using secondary progression.
If using minor progressions the moon is in play and that is a whole different ballgame. Lunar matters ------------------
