I'm just writing this to vent (sorry for being a Debbie Downer). I'm usually very optimistic, and I don't know if it's because of the Pluto square Venus transit that I'm going through during these last few months or what.. but I don't think I believe in love anymore. If it's the transit, it isn't supposed to go away until October 2016.. 1 1/2 more years!! That's it, my life is over (cue dramatic music).

I ended a 4 year relationship a little while ago and I just have zero desire to get back in a relationship. I genuinely feel like men are not capable of falling in love. Especially with me (womp womp). I just feel like I am unlovable, and all the couples I see on the street make me roll my eyes a little- ha! I'm 30 years old and I'm feeling a little biological clock tick-tick-ticking away, but my mind is saying 'noooooo!'.

Do you think this is an effect of the Pluto square Venus transit? Or do you think I'm just being lame and need to snap out of it?

I've been crying a little recently too.
I wonder if it's because of this transit, but it's definitely love related! I'm going to have a look at my transits.

Just realized I have a Saturn transit in my 5th house as well. It's currently in Retrograde. Maybe that could be it as well..

Pluto is about "endings" as well as beginnings.

Your ending of the 4 year relationship is Pluto.

Pluto also makes you more aware of your mortality. Hence you feeling like time is ticking.

Now what you are sure to pay more attention to is getting into a relationship that means something authentic to you.

Phoebe Snow echoes this essence of what you may be looking for in her song "Something real";

Tell me what you're feeling and what it all means.

You could be defensive or open up and share your dreams........I want something real one time before I die-

Your Saturn in 5th suggests that you may be more discriminating to the affairs of that house. You are not so easily won over and in a sense, the austere nature of Saturn echoes the intensity of Venus/Pluto square.

I went through that transit a long while ago. At the time, I was in a nightmarish relationship and started to recognize toxic relationships. It was the start of learning what I did not desire in a mate.

Its okay to be a 'debbie downer' for a while. Sometimes we have to feel an aversion to something before we will retract our energies and actions from patterns we want to stop so we can change them.

When Pluto opposed my natal Venus-Mars in the mid-90s, I fell in love intensely - twice. Neither ended well. It triggered a lot of anxiety, fear, depression, and health issues. But I survived and learned a lot from it and I'm in a good place today.

Usually we want to place the nice outcomes we want up front as the earliest result of our aims and efforts, but in reality they usually come after some learning experiences that are necessary to get there.

Just be careful of turning such disappointed generalizations as "... I genuinely feel like men are not capable of falling in love ..." into beliefs that become blocks.

Pluto transits opposite/contra-parallel, square, even conjunct/parallel natal Moon or Venus bring intense unconscious forces slowly into play in a way that lets us see more of what is stored within us, but takes the form of interactions that stir up things we cannot control. This is part of the function of Pluto in my view, to help us see how powerful our inner drives are and that certain things cannot be consciously controlled (others' choices or reactions).

The whole point is transformation, but these hard transits sometimes seem to bring only destruction. I assure you, from far on the 'other side' of such transits that is not the case.

Think of it as remodeling a home. Sometimes a wall has to be knocked out and a bunch of dust and grime and disorder is let loose before the room is freed up to reshape the place. All this seems as if a bull dozer has suddenly appeared at random and started wreaking havoc on our lives. This is why it is important to have developed a vision for who you want to become, or at least start developing it. Otherwise, these experiences can leave us cynical, and permanently a 'downer.'

Yeah, I've been reading that it causes a lot of transformation about what you truly want in a relationship. But wow, this is a long transit. It's for two years!

Does this Transit also make someone more prone to be attracted to Plutonians? I imagine it would. The last two guys I've been interested in had either a Scorpio Moon or a Scorpio Venus.
