Pretty soon I'll have Venus retrograde hanging out in my 5th house, which is ruled by Leo, for some months.

About 4 years ago I had a bit of an innocent fling with a Leo man that I worked with..it ended platonically and we remained friends. we both had different goals and we were at different points in our lives ...but a few weeks ago he suddenly started talking to me more than his usual "how've you been?" Every couple of months.. and he also suddenly took interest in hanging out with me although he is married now. (Which I haven't allowed to happen)

This was bothersome to me because for so long we were platonic and rarely spoke to each other but as of the past couple of weeks.. he has sent me multiple messages that seemed like he was interested in me.. more than platonically. (One was a video of him working out and flexing that made me feel...weird.) I said nothing about it.

With this said, I have found it interesting that Venus retrograde will be in my 5th house of Leo.

I have been very brief with him yet kind when he messages me, sometimes not answering him at all. I am wondering if this retrograde could cause a climax to this situation in someway? Perhaps that he will vent these feelings or push harder? He just mentioned that he goes to the same gym as me yesterday, and I'm very worried about running into him. I know if he is interested in me , he is just feeling insecure, and I don't want him to push to the point that i have to lay down the law and possibly embarrass him/make things awkward for us. We've been pretty platonic and cool for a long time now..

I am just seeing what anyone would think about this coincidence and what you may feel is possible with this venus retrograde transit.

Thank you!

Venus is also retrograding my 5th house

I don't have much expertise, but maybe it's a karmic thing? Possibly to remind you of what you're looking for and not looking for in relationships...

In my case, my husband and I are trying to have a baby so I think the retrograde has to do with that

Bananz,

Thanks so much for your response! I read that Venus retro in the 5th house can be a good time to have children so best of luck to you! I agree, it may be karmic. This man and I definitely have karmic synastry and without much belief in past lives he once mentioned that he'd hoped that he would meet me in another life. I didn't take that lightly because I'm pretty big on past lives and I don't believe in coincidence. Haha

Its funny, because the last time our relationship ended, he was the one who put his foot down to end it so that we could move forward with ourselves. I feel that in some karmic way, I'm being tested to do the same right now. We have a great amount of respect for eachother and have always protected eachother. I want him to make the right decisions for himself and so perhaps its a part of this karmic happening...I am also figuring out a lot about what I want in my relationships lately as well. I just hope that this silly interest he's taken towards me ends on a good note and we can continue to be friends/he focuses on his marriage.

Thanks again for your response!

I had an old "flame" message me about a half hour ago. I am not interested, as usual.
